I know its early days, but could it be time for 3-5-2 formation? I will tell why:

- Theo cannot exploit himself enough in attack when both Leao and Reijnders occupy much of the space at the left. This is a real issue. Theo has just one goal so far, no assists. He needs offensive freedom to thrive, and its so important for our game plan.

- We have no proper regista. Adli should play further forward, Krunic has not the quality to play in such a vulnerable position. Neither Musah or Reijnders have the defensive solidity to play there.

- Giroud is so alone in attack. Leao is isolated at the left, and is mot playing besides Giroud. Big stretch in the attacking department. One of the big reason we are not threatining at all.

- Tomori- Thiaw- Kalulu can play as a 3 CB line. They have done it before and we retain good pace with both Kalulu and Tomori beside the more physical Thiaw. We dont need to be scared for Calabria to be exposed time and time again for pace.

- Musah can play a RM against tough teams. he has shown very promising signs, also a FB. He has great lungs, good pace, and move a lot. I think he could be a good wide midfielder. Pulisic can play against lower teams with his creativity and his more threating nature.

I could go on, but i think is have some valid points here. I understand that will maybe should try the 4-3-3 a bit more. but as i said, i see worrying signs, especially in attack. Leao needs to be closer to the goal, and Theo needs more attacking freedom.

Theo must be Theo. Kill that left side, and when he is out of position, Kessie will cover. Oh my, we dont have a Kessie type of player anymore...

When we signed him (or, even when we were linked to him), I didn't like the idea at all, because I didn't rate him; also, he was injured-prone.

I am glad that he proved me wrong on the first account and had grown into a reliable player for us--when fit. His injury woe will only be exacerbated thanks to our killer medical team. Unbelievable. Angry

Furlani and Moncada gave a medal to Pioli to celebrate his 200 games as coach and Furlani told him the next celeberation will be in February when he will have more games than Sacchi.

Pioli at press conference today

"We must absolutely carry forward”

“We won’t change what we’re doing”

A stubborn old man who refuses to acknowledge his failings or adapt his tired tactics.

This is the second time in the last couple of seasons that Gatti decided to play MMA, punch a player, and not be punished. If the league had any credibility, they should really ban this guy to send a message to end the thuggery.

Is the first time this season when i dont have a nope for a game. If a loose with 5-0 tonight is the price for sack Pioli, ill happy accept it.
