Milan predicted XI vs. Monza (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Terracciano, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo; Reijnders, Fofana; Chukwueze, Pulisic, Okafor; Morata.
He should go full rampage and start Zeroli/Liberali and Camarda Icon_lol2 Icon_lol2

Management have a lot to answer for if this Leao thing solves nothing, especially if it reduces his value. Fonseca is another issue imo, he can be fired or not, there is no guarantee that his replacement will not mess something else up, even if Leao does better under him.

Interested to see Terracciano on the right. He si not a player of the level for Milan, imo. At least not from what we've seen so far. But if he is going to play, then it needs to be on the right.

Anyway, this whole Leao thing is getting outta hand. But I don't blame Fonseca for it. He wants a certain level defensively. The issue is that Leao or not, we still concede goals for fun.

Leao needs to get his act together, but somehow I feel that Fonseca doesn't have the key to solve the issue. Funny and sad that the only two Portuguese on the team aren't getting along.

Well Emerson Royal also is not a player of Milan level, and he costed quite a lot of money. He didnt play 1 good game for us this season, and had some fuckups.
Terraciano so far has not played in his natural position, is still young but is playing very reserved. He didnt have many fuckups in official games so far. So i hope he does well on his natural position, on the right, not against his foot. Playing against your foot as a fullback is hard. I hope he contributes a lot more in attack now

If Terraciano gets to play as a RB today, then today is when I start judging him.

I've become numb to Milan these days. I don't even care anymore. I feel bad for some few minutes when we lose, and I put it out of my mind. Forget about it. Most times I put off the TV when we are playing rubbish and go do other stuff. That in itself is a sad one, because that's the club I support and care about for decades.

I agree. I applaud Fonseca for the way he's held his ground. Leao literally WALKS on the field. He doesn't play the game when the ball is not in his feet. I get the talent and his 1v1 ability....but even so, his efficiency in the final 3rd has been abysmal.

It'd be hard to bench a player that scores in every (or every other game), no matter how much of a liability he is defensively. As a matter of fact, you adjust your tactics and keep that player on the field. Plenty of examples of that. Cristiano, Messi, R9, R10, even the likes of Mbappe (who actually chases and defends way more than Leao does, btw), etc. The problem is that Leao is none of those guys. He is a world away from their quality and game influence. Yet, he wants to be treated like them.

So I'm happy Fonseca is doing this. The ball is now in Leao's court. Either do something about this, or stay on the bench. What Fonseca REALLY needs though, is for this team (without Leao) to win some big games. That will validate his decisions and give him credit with the squad. Example, win against Real Madrid. Then he can really stand up in front of the squad and essentially say...."see? Sacrifice and teamwork DOES work and it goes a long way".

You'll then see even those that are standing with Leao, slowly move closer to Fonseca. I actually do think a lot of the squad is annoyed with Leao. They HAVE to be. How long can you bust your ass and sprint around, press, do waht the coach asks you, help your teammates, sacrifice on the field.....only to turn around and see 1 guys walking around and the entire defensive system/press fall apart because he couldn't give less of a fuck!? At some point, the players get annoyed also. Players like Gattuso would have ripped him a new asshole for shit like that. So I hope the current crop of players is actually saying something too. I've already seen Abraham, Tomori, Gabbia, Mike....all shout at Leao throughout games.

Who is this Leao guy? He is a rapper or a football player?

Maignan; Terracciano, Thiaw, Pavlovic, Theo; Fofana, Reijnders; Chukwueze, Pulisic, Okafor; Morata

Not sure what will be achieved by leaving Leao out consecutive games.
