Looks like we are close to Kyle Walker. He is old but has important experience and leadership. He is also almost impossible to beat 1/1. His offensive capabilities is not the best, but overall he is a big upgrade to both Royal and Calabria. My concern is that this will give Jimenez fewer minutes. He will probably Theos first deputy and exchange minutes with him.

But if this purchase means that we will not get any attacker and leaves Rashford to Napoli i will be furious. I hope they are working in the dark for David...

I also feel like Reijnders and Fofana are both really good midfielders and young - would not sell either one of them... But aren't we lacking some creativity in the midfield? What's your guys opinion?

For me, we need a real creative midfielder someone to dictate play... Modern Pirlo-esque type. I feel like both Fofana and Reijnders are work horse box to boxes, Fofana being more defensively sound and Reijnders being more offensively. We don't have a real creative force. Look at big clubs of the last few years that won anything.. Modric or Kroos at Madrid, KDB at City.. I think this gap is just as important as a decent striker tbh.

Players like Pirlo, Modric, Kroos, KDB are hard to find these days, if not impossible... Anyway, we don't compete for players of that calibre. We're on another level.
