Milan are expected to sack Daniele Bonera as the head coach of Milan Futuro following another damaging result, reports claim.
The difficult season continued for the Futuro as Lucchese clinched three important points in a relegation six-pointer yesterday. To say that the situation is dire would be an understatement, with relegation now a serious risk.
Some sources said Bonera already sacked.
I don't understand why he could last that long, maybe the management are busy with the market?
Alberto Bollini, the Italy U19 coach, is favourite to take over from Bonera.
Looking at Milan Futuro signings, Quirini striked me the most, he has been a strong defender for Lucchese this season and someone who has a bright future for the first team.

I hope they don't get relegated. It'd be a huge failure for that project. It was always going to be ambitious to go at it with only our youth players. Some additions, a bit more experienced, we're always going to be needed to stay in the league. I expected (and still do) that results were going to improve in the spring, after the young players got used to this level. Because on a technical level, from the couple of games I saw, they are not inferior to their opponents. I'd say, they were acrually better. But they lacked in experience, physicality and tactics.
Also, it's hard with the movement of so many players. Jimenez is now fully with the senior team, Zeroli is loaned out, Bartesaghi and Camarda are pretty much fully with the senior team as much...and when they are with Futuro, they are there to make up numbers and haven't really trained with that squad on a tactical level.
Lastly, Bonera was just a bad decision, period. Like many decisions this management made last summer. The Italy U19 coach is a good choice I think, but now news say that he's not gonna take the position as he wants to finish out his contract with the U19s.
Bring back Abate! Best choice they can make. They turned around many bad decisions from last summer, they can also turn this one around. He has just been fired as coach while being in second place …
