Week 2: Lecce - Milan August 29 2025 20:45CET

Leao unlikely to be ready.
Seems 3-5-2 is already finished(?), 4-3-3 coming with Alexis further up.

Friday match means I may have to miss it Dodgy

If Camarda does well or scores against us I expect whole management to resign. I am not being 'funny' or something.

It is strange that the last goal came from
- A RWB stealed the ball in the left flank
- A LWB crossed from the left flank, near the line
- A LCB headed home near the right spot
At least 2 players were at the "wrong" side, and all 3 were higher than their normal position.

I think it is a good hint about how we play under Allegri: quite intricate and creative.
Saelemaeker's energy and tactical awareness are known; but for a newcomer like Estupinan and a "brainless" Pablovic could cooperate like that, Allegri has done a good job.

Of course, some positions didn't perform well enough, not just the b2b duo and CF but also our star, Pulisic.

But I think it was due to the complexity of the new system, and the high demand for each player, especially the b2b and wing backs who must support both phases: attack & defense. So I expect a quite similar lineup, despite the introduction of Jashari and Ricci.

Jashari injured in training and is out against Lecce. Just a knock, nothing serious.

Edit: Could be out for an extended period. "Serious problem" with right fibula reported, a fracture is feared. If so it could take 6-8 weeks to heal and the pain and swelling can be present for months...

SkySport: Probable XI against Lecce: Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Musah, Loftus-Cheek, Modric, Fofana, Estupinan; Gimenez, Pulisic.

Banter era XI.

Banter era XI.

They even say Saelemaekers might start over Pulisic. Which would make it even worse.

If we win this match, Scudetto becomes possible Big Grin

Scudetto is always possible until it becomes mathematically not. So, even if we lose this one and the next three or four, Scudetto is still possible. Grinundwech
