Sorry man, disagree all the way.

Kaka's passing has always been great, not on Pirlo's or Xavi's level, but very very good.
His shot is solid, really accurate, not that strong.
And I based my hopes (As Xu said Smile ) on the fact that his injuries are behind him as he is now fit and ready to play.

8 mil is nothing really, on the financial side it is definitely worth it.

Pirlo's passing isn't on Xavi's level Wink

Otherwise agree with you. While Kaka is not quite Messi these days Stitch has rather reduced him unfairly to a mediocre journeyman.

Yes ofcourse. When you are so low that you had to play Boateng as CAM and even worse than that Urby, then ofcourse Kaka is like 100 times better. Having said that all of a sudden I am kind of missing Boateng. Manybe he was a jerk as CAM, but as a CM (box to box) he is like one of the best in the business. Bravo Allegri, you just confirmed that you are the dumbest manager around Europe.

Agree that boateng being one of best box to box midfielder, maybe the management can't handle his personality.

I don't think kaka is a game changer anymore only if he proves to be able to adapt and expend his game accordingly with his loss of pace.to play zidane's style and bring similar impact is the only way to justify that he still got it since kaka has similar physiques after he lose some of his speed.I doubt kaka has 'that' vision like pirlo or zidane, and his skill is not that exquisite enough.

Get over it. Boaten has all qualities to play box to box mid but he repeatedly said he doesn't like playing as CM. He WANTS treq/AM position. So all his qualities without motivation will not count for anything; he will not want to play there and therefore cannot play there.

I agree with many of you here on Boateng. I did not mind him leaving, as his heart certainly already left long before, and more importantly, the way Allegri played him IMHO didn't fully utilize his potential. Boateng should never be used as ACM, but he was such a lethal weapon starting from the midfield.

Also, Boateng thrived with Ibrahimovic, which made me wonder now that Kaka is here, had Boateng stayed and played alongside another true star player, could they manage to pull off some magics together.

I like that attitude. Sagrin And you are most likely right that it may not be Allegri's fault alone to play Boateng as treq; I have seen numerous reports suggesting that it was our precious prince's own proposal.

I think Kaka's worth wont come in his individual display, rather, his ability to add that missing link from midfield to attack. As we all know physically he has declined with age but mentally he is stronger. Back when kaka played for us he was the horse which the team ran on. He added pace to a side which included a 30+ Inzaghi, Seedorf, Pirlo and Gattuso.

Now he has Balo, ELS, Poli and Monti to do his running. He just has to find the space and make the pass. Honestly I think he will be fine offensively. The biggest test now is whether he accepts his defensive responsibility which I don't think he has ever really had to do. I think there is where we find out if we have a starter vs super sub.

Oh, he also has to stay healthy for longer than like 10 games too.

I've just had a weird thought: Would Nocerino be revived by Kaka? Big Grin

That could happen. This afternoon's game seems to suggest that.

"From my personal point of view, at age 31 you have learnt a lot of things and now I choose plays that are best when passing the ball" kaka's own words after the match(I copied these paragraph from goal.com),that's a good sign.

I didn't watch the game, but as honsano mentioned, kaka's tactical awareness in helping defence remains to be seen.
