speaking of Yepes, I think that's one of best investment for this season too. the difference between last season and this one, well, Leonardo, but also, Yepes instead of Bonera. Our games at Manchester United and Inter Milan were pathetic and miserable. If we had Yepes, I guess it could be different, probably not different enough to reverse the result, as Leonardo was simply no match to SAF or Mourinho, but we didn't have to be humiliated.

Only one thing that bothers me: if Allegri played Silva and Nesta in defense in our first leg with Spurs, how would the result turn out? I felt that Silva was rusty and lost his sense of position in the midfield, and as good as Yepes is, he is no Silva. His rather reckless tackle at Lennon eventually led to the only goal by the stupid-looking Crouch.

That's not an attack at Yepes though. Not at all. Also, I felt that he was rather unlucky in that game too. Spur goalkeeper was amazing at blocking two of his sure goals off the corners. Gomes was known to be unpredictable, and who would have thought that he didn't concede even one goal against us? While he let in goals from C. Ronaldo, Nani, and Lampard, all in ridiculous fashion? I need to come back after I search Youtube.

I think it was more about that WE COULD NOT SCORE. How can we manage to go to next round if we can't make a single goal? Even in penalty shoot out we have to make AT LEAST 1 goal and hope the opponents can't score from 5 chances they have.

I do agree with you. Robinho.... Ibrahimovic... actually, it is a collective failure as NOBODY in our team managed to score EVEN ONE LOUSY GOAL. even one in 180 minutes!
