We are attacking from Abate's wing more...We couldnt create many chances so far... Pirlo's long passes are great. But i'd rather to have Seedorf there as he is more direct...Pirlo's back passes and He plays not direct like Seedorf... We cant pass the ball much, due to Pirlo's long balls love and his back pass love... We are missing Boateng who keeps the ball and press well in further area...

Antonini has got hurt like twice already, the second time by Silva. Maybe he should be taken off.

allegri dissapointed me tonight. there are a few rules that he needs to follow if he wants our team to play good:

1. never play both seedorf and pirlo at the same time- severly lacking movement and pace
2. if one of them plays, boateng must play
3. never play gattuso and ambro at the same time - severly lacking creativity
4. never play antonini

he should have known by now

We need more movement and pace when on the ball, as Palermo are are defending deep with 2 lines of 4, and while we stretch them in wide areas we're not effective when crosses come into the box. Instead, our passing must be quicker as we approach the Palermo final third in order to break through.

Also, I'm unimpressed with our pressing when Palermo are on the ball. We stand off them and let them have too much time, rather than close them down and force them into mistakes.

That said, I'm confident in our ability to score in this match. We're very dominant and Palermo will start to wear down in the second half. We need patience and precision as we attack.

the first half was quite disappointing. neither side created enough scoring opportunities. I can remember the best one fell off Robinho's foot, but as usual he missed it. We seemed to lack physical presence up front, and I hope that Ibrahimovic can play somehow. With a defense line involving Nesta, Silva, Abate, and Abbiati, I didn't feel nervous at all, but this is a game that we cannot afford any other result than a win. Not conceding goal is not enough. We will need to score.

I was disappointed in our seemingly lack of will to win. I didn't see the urgency in the game. Maybe we will see some if we still couldn't break the deadlock with only 20 minutes left.

Antonini was bad, and most of Palermo's attack came through his side too. Sometimes I didn't even see Antonini coming back to defend. Very unlucky also, getting hurt twice before eventually being taken out.

... and replaced by Bonera? That's what I meant by lack of will to win. We should've thrown in Urby Emanuelson in a game that we need to win and definitely can win.

anyway, forza milan no matter what. another 45 minutes to go.
