i would love to learn this language,

could someone teach me some of the basics of the language and then some simple words and slowly developing into a sentence....?!

could it be done/.???;)

i hope im not asking a lot here, anyway whatever is possible will do for me....

if each and every italian member or those who knows the language could contribute to this, i think that would be enough...!

I have newer learned italien .. but after I have watched Rai, Milan channel for many years I in fact understand everything they are talking about.
But of course I only know the italien "football" language .. I for sure will not understand a normal conversesion about anything else.

Hello demi you learned dutch? then I have simple a question for you, why on earth do you want to learn Dutch
There are only 25 milion people in the world that speak Dutch!
Most Flemish people speak several languages so I can't be becoz you couldn't understand them. The television programms are subtitled so it's a mystery for me.

You just broke their hearts, Demi!

I also took French in school, so anything I've learned in Italian (or Spanish now) has been helped along by that. There is no quick way to learn, you jave to study a few of the basics and go fromthere. The Italian I pick up from RAI, the Spanish I'm picking up from listening to and reading the lyrics from a rock group....whatever works, ya know?

Demi, it's a Mexican group called Mana, I call them Mexico's U2 b/c they've been around so long and are also into social and envirnmental issues. They've been to Europe, in fact only a couple months ago in addition to Spain they did some shows in Germany and Italy. The site I am posting below has an audio page under the multimedia link. Unfortunately it's only clips of their songs...BUT if you want to hear something great, go to the bottom to OTRAS CANCIONES DE MANA and click on Fool in the Rain!!

Well... depend of the city...

Amsterdam is a great big city... many different kind of people and life style, free drugs, women on windows selling themselfs... pretty weird to my culture, but a great city to visit...
museums, nightclubs, bars, good food.

Groningen is a small city, if compared to Amsterdam it can be called monotonous, but full of cultural places...

summarizing, the country pleased me... ;)

Niiiiice, Mana rules!! :D My favorite Mana album is definitely Mana "Unplugged", my favorite songs being "En el Muelle de San Blas", "Vivir Sin Aire", "Rayando el Sol" among others. "Angel de Amor" is definitely among my favorites too.......well, I like almost all their songs, I mean, when you hear a song from such talented people you cant expect other than a great song!

Dejame curarte vida
dejame darte todo mi amor
Angel,Angel,Angel de amor
no te abandones
no te derrumbes amor
Angel,Angel,Angel te doy mi amor
abre tus alas deja tus sueños volar...

also a great song!!! Maná is a great group! ;)

Mana's first album was "Mana" in 1987 (with a 2nd edition in 1995 which included great songs as: "Mueve tus caderas", "Mentirosa", "En la playa" and more).

On 1989 "Falta Amor" was released bringing great songs as "Perdido en un barco", "Estoy agotado", "Buscandola" and the amazing "Rayando el sol".

In 1992 the album "Donde jugaran los ninos" came out with more great songs such as "Oye mi amor", "Como te deseo", "Donde jugaran los ninos" and "Te llore un rio" (one of my favorites).

Then, they released "Mana en vivo" (Mana live) after they went to 18 countries to give concerts (among those Bolivia, and of course I was there  )

In 1995 "Cuando los angeles lloran" was released with even more great songs: "Dejame entrar", "No ha parado de llover", "El reloj cucu", "Hundido en un rincon" and more!

Then we had to wait till 1997 for their next album "Suenos liquidos" which brought one of my favorite Mana songs, "En el muelle de San Blas", another songs from that album were "La Sirena", "Me voy a convertir en un ave", "Clavado en un bar" and more.

In 1999, my favorite Mana album was released, "Mana Unplugged", with three new songs "Se me olvido otra vez", "Te solte la rienda" and "Desapariciones".

Then between 1999 and 2002 there were two album composed by their best songs

Finally in 2002 they came back to the stage with "Revolucion de Amor" with more great songs: "Justicia, tierra y libertad", "Sabanas frias" and my favorite one "Angel de Amor"among others.

Great group, great albums, great songs.

I'm crazy about Revolucion De Amor--all of Alex's songs, Justicia, Sabanas Frias....

Unplugged rules! They need to do another Unplugged b/c I can pick out totally different songs that would be great done accoustically.

Cuando Los Angeles Lloran right now has my ears all over it, it's rapidly becoming my favorite of their albums. It's amazing how their sound changed when Sergio joined the group!

Interesting little interview with Alex and one small input from Juan:

http://www.estylo.com/mana.html

Then you Mana fans understand part of my sig and where it comes from!
