having listened to wenger, and fergie and lippi for the last 10 years a new candidate has emerged to rival them in the arrogance stakes, i.e. new chelse boss jose 'i'm the best manager' mourinho.
who do u think deserves the title of most arrogant?

i have never really given it lots of thoughts....maybe cos i`m not at all bothered with it,i sometimes interpret what people call arrogance as big amount of self confidence in a person`s characther.....but speaking about this...i`d also go for jose or alex...hence why i`ll vote when i make up my mind :undecide: ,btw i don`t think jose was arrogant while he was coaching porto..but the fact is that he has changed now.
in case u also want to know which player is the most spoilt one i`ll say simone inzaghi(being influenced by what i` ve seen tonight):rollani:

Fergie (like Wenger) isnt particularly arrogant he is just extremely protective of his players. He got a bad reputation in the media because he refused to talk to them after their despicable treatment of some Utd players, like the stuff they were printing after WC98 about Beckham (the Beckham dartboard and Beckham dolls hanging etc :rolleyes: )
Mourinho is true arrogance though, in his first press conference in England he announced
"there are lots of managers, but I am the special one !"
and also
"If I wanted to have an easy job...I would have stayed at Porto - beautiful blue chair, the Uefa Champions League trophy, God, and after God, me"

without a doubt it's fergie.....he is sooooooooooooooooooooooo full of himself.....
jose is not arragont....not as much as fergioe anyway....the media just paint him like that becuase he showed up fergie's man u last season and rubbed his face in it...as fergie fully deserves

When Mourinho are in TV, he looks like he is God`s gift to the world - he may be a good coach, but he attitude is so disgusting.
mourinho is a great coach but a **** personality...
fergie is **** in both aspects!

yeah, true. Just like Stez have said, that Sir Fergie try to protect his players form ****in media, sometimes in quite extreme way, but he is not arrogant, i would say those journalists are more arrogant than any manager is.

No one makes me hate someone more then Jose Mourinho. I hope he fails miserably. Plus his cry baby crap about the time when Tottenham defended well, god I hate him. He plays a defensive game too! Stupid hypocrit.
He won a fluke CL [I hate the elimination of the second group stage of the CL, takes away from the quality] and will only have success at Chelsea because he can buy anyone. I hate him.

Thats true, Maurinho may be really arrogant, but he has a winning mentality and that mentality goes throughout the club, resulting in a team that believes they can achieve great things.
I also love to watch his interview. I was in hysterics when he was questioned about his defensive game working in England and when he replied "the media and people think they know about football, but they know nothing. I know about football"
