2004 almost over and 2005 one step closer to come.
Many matches played and there must be XI players that you think showing incredible.
Personally, This could be the best team that consist of best players based on their performance along 2004 :

And I agree with you about defenders. Scoring goals is great fun, but where's the glory if you don't have someone trying to stop you from scoring?

Indeed it appears that RM are playing that way, but come to think of it I don't think they have a system at all :hammer: . They simply put 11 players on the pitch and let them do what they have to do. Mostly it looks like a 2-1-5-2 though:

i like this team, except maybe nedved/robben for kaka, adriano for henry and mourniho for hitzfield and possibly zambrotta for cole.

I have to say I disagree with Canna and Ljungberg. Canna has only come into form this season, but at Inter last year, he was terrible.

As for Freddie, I can understand your point, but I really don't think he's the same class as the top players in football to earn that place
