Does anyone know when Uefa are to announce whether both Milanese clubs can play their 2nd leg champions league games at home in same week.

As it stands Uefa rules state that one of the clubs would have to play a week after - or before !!!!!

any info anyone - it may be anonunced on Friday after the draw but if anyone knows anything ............

What they'll probably do is reverse the home field advantage, with one team playing at home while the other team is playing away. It may be decided by a coin toss, but Galliani has already suggested that Inter should be the one to make the change because their "coefficient" isn't as good as Milan's. :D

Article from channel4 confirming Lombardias statement:

Inter must delay Champions' decider Tuesday 14 December, 2004

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The problems of sharing the San Siro have pushed Inter’s Champions’ League Second Round tie back by a week to March 15, confirmed UEFA.

The rules state that the winners of the Groups must play the second leg on home turf, but as Milan and Inter both conquered their respective sections, this poses a conundrum.

UEFA also insist that a Stadium cannot hold two games on consecutive days, so it is up to the Nerazzurri to delay their deciding match.

Milan’s fixtures are to go ahead as planned, playing away from home on Feb 22 or 23 and then at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on March 8 or 9.

Inter already know their second leg tie is to take place on Tuesday March 15, regardless of the opponent they pick out of the hat in Friday’s draw.
