Apparently he's unhappy at Valencia after failing out with Ranieri and wants to leave the club. What do you folks think? If Aimar is available we should snap him up. A quick thinking player, pacy, fancy footwork and 360 degree field vision. Though he may be a little frail for the tough defending in Serie A.

Given that Ronaldinho is an unrealistic target for at least the next 2 years, Pablito would be a perfect replacement for Rui "The Lateral Pass" Costa, and Kaka can be pushed forward as a support striker.

The Holy Trinity: Sheva + Kaka + Aimar :excited:

He asked to be allowed to move to Liverpool

If he's that desperate then he would definately accept Milan :D is he worth it though? i mean, do Valencia have money problems because if they dont he would cost a fortune...

Aimar is a great player, but he has gone downhill in recent years and injury problems have been persistent. It would be a risk to get him, although I wouldn't complain much if we did

Rui is 32 now!!! If Rui goes sureley he is replaced, but I do not think it will be Aimar. My dream no. 10 is the one used to shake hands with Nesta in the Roman derbies!!!!!!!!!!!

I simply like Aimar, and we have Milan Lab! I can be the one most welcome him here!

Perhaps, Dinho's quite impossible.
But if we could then it would be :
The Best Triangle Offense : Sheva, Kaka & Dinho

yah, totti have already lost the chance to be here. i rather we take a chance with aimar or cassano if we were to replace rui costa whom i have no idea will be here for how long. i want rui costa to stay simply due to the fact he offered us a different dimension to our game and he is still one of the best players on this planet. but then there is simply too much rumors about him leaving and i would not be too surprised if he choose to leave.

I dont think Rui will be with us next year, which poses for us, a slight problem as to whom to get to act as understudy to Kaka.

Aimar is one of my favourtite players to watch, but as has been proven in Spain to date, he is fragile, and easily injured. Now while I totally admire him as a player, I would hate to see what Italian defending would do to the lad, and so it is with a heavy heart that I say that I hope he stays, if not with Valencia, at least with a Spanish club, so that we may continue to enjoy his skill on the ball for a while longer.

We need to find some precocious Italian, or South American youth player and snatch him up a la Arsene Wenger...a player who wont mind sitting on the bench or being loaned out for a season or two, while Kaka conintues (hopefully) to justifiably dominate a starting role in the play maker position.

Aimar has never truly been a talent to place on the bench, and his frequency of his injuries just goes to show how ineffective the "no tackle from behind rule" has been in protecting players.

One of the beautiful things about football is the notion that big or small, as long as you have the skill and guts, you can play. Soccer can be the true "everymans" game...Aimar is such a sight on the pitch, his skill on the ball, his wonderful passing, and his talent for scoring, all combine to make a wonderful viewing experience, and it is a shame that the rules are not enforced to enable those short in stature to impact the game as they could.

Also, talent of his proportions, normally comes with some sort of ego, and one could not expect him to sit patiently on the bench for Italian Cup games while Kaka gets the almost automatic nod in the important matches....

there's also tomas rosicky as an alternative for rui, and he can also fill in on the rhs of midield in emergencies. dortmund are in financial and footballing crisis this season, it would be the best time to get him

please not. i see him every week in german tv (if he is not injured). he is definitely skilled but has a bad character and is definitely not milan material. he would never accept to be second choice for a position and sit most of the times on the bench. apart from that i think he is demanding quite high wages, so for a non starter at that age i think that would be too much

Valencia is cash strapped. They will end up selling Vicente and Aimar in the future.

I do feel that Milan won't go for Aimar and Kaka will wear Number 10.

-----Kaka-----
-Gila-----Shev-

It's looking like this and it ain't bad at all. Kaka just needs to keep on moving the way he is regarding through balls. Genio and Gio might know what I'm talking about. :D

Full space for Kaką..we cannot go with a superstar, as if he has to occupy Rui's spot a superstar hardly will accept the bench

I think the most promising thequartista , even if atipical, is Hleb of Stuttgart.. He's a fantastic player and created a lot of problems to the iron defence Barzagli- Bovo-Moretti- Bonera at the Euro u21. he has technique vision and a fantastic shoot as well
