Milan - best in Europe 2004

[Henrik]

Not that we didn't know it before, but it is allways nice to back it up with statistics (ne ce pas, il genio? ;)) Below are the points per game averages for the top clubs in Europe in 2004:

1. Milan 2,47
2. Barcelona 2,37
3. Arsenal 2,28
4. Chelsea 2,21
5. Juventus 2,17
6. Lyon 2,11
7. B München 1,97
8. Valencia 1,89
9. W Bremen 1,85
10. Man United 1,77

Do notice that Milans points per game average is far better than Arsenal's, which didn't loose a single game in 04.

Arsenal did lose two games in the Premiership in 2004.

Not only in 2004 but Milan's points per game average in the 03/04 season was better than Arsenal's, despite the fact that they didn't lose a single game.

Says it all really ;)
