We all know what condition our pitch has been in the past seasons. in the game against udinese there were a couple of players slipping on the pitch. Something needs to be done. What is your idea? I remember that i think there was grass imported from somewhere at one point and it looked really good for some time.

I suggest looking at the "Astroturf anyone?" thread ;)

No I dont want the artificial pitch at the San Siro. How can one of the best stadiums in the world have to play on an artificial pitch? I think both Milan and Inter need to get together and set some cash aside to deal with the pitch and then maintain it better. Even if they need to install under soil facilities of some kind. That pitch is an absolute joke! The one at the Olimpico does not look at all like that and neither does the one at the Delle Alpi. It needs to be sorted out.

And again, NO ARTIFICIAL PITCH. That is the cheap way out!

1st of all it isnt the only solution. 2nd of all it cant happen over week and there would have to be some other solution in the mean time.

kicking merda out will be the best solution. i have been hoping for that to happen a long while.

this might show my lack of knowledge . . . but why does Inter have to play at the San Siro why can't Milan just kick them out ? hasn't it been Milans Stadium from the start until Inter decided to be twits and break off?

I would say kick Inter out and the turf problems will be solves . . . the field is getting too torn up

id say inter players dont know how to use the field. they prolly have inter cattle going on the field and eating grass of the san siro. It is the only way that inter can feed their players.

I don't think the San Siro is owned by Milan.

i believe the city of milan owns the stadium, both milan and merda are in the lease. i heard that we do want to purchase it from the government, but it is not very likely it will happen.

two teams sharing a stadium, and both schedules are very tight. imagine for some middle-ranked team, they play at home like once every two weeks, but san siro is too heavily used. almost twice every week (think of CL, italian cup), it is no secret that the pitch is in such bad shape, maintenance takes time! kicking merda out is the best solution i can think of, but i don't see it happening, especially in the near future.

As you said the stadium is owned by the city of Milan, so we do not call the shots on who uses the stadium. If the city officials want to continue leasing it to Inter, there's nothing we can do about it.

Except perhaps build our own stadium. But, I don't know how profitable (or feasible) that idea would be.
So, as for now we are stuck with Inter using our pitch for their insignificant games.

I'd be very disappointed to see us quitting the use of San Siro , but i don't worry cause there's a 0,00000000000000000000001 % of chances that this will happen in the future

A lot are correct. Milan does not own the SanSiro, we rent from teh council. Both Milan and Inter are tennants. However it is generally known that Inter actually want out and want to build their own stadium. Time and money is the main stumbling block so they may well be out soon enough.
