[Sheva7_Evo]

These are the teams i drew up from the list... it's what i'd like to see/what is the best, most balanced team.
feel free do your own and discuss tactics and whatever.

Shevchenko's XI
Buffon

Thuram Puyol Stam Maldini

Beckham Gerrard Nedved

Zidane

Shevchenko Henry

Backline and keepers are no brainers. Midfielders was a bit more difficult...i opted for a strong workmen in gerrard and beckham... instead of out of form viera. Picked Ballack over Nedved...form reason as well...and Zidane over Totti...coz Zidane IMO is still the most talented player around. Strikers weren't hard to pick either.

Ronaldinho's XI

Dida

Cafu Lucio Cordoba Heinze

Marquez Cambiasso Juninho

Ronaldinho

Adriano Ronaldo

Had a much harder time picking this team. Not many options in defence...these are probably the best in their respective positions. The rest of the picked squad are all strikers or attack minded players (that i know of anyway). No real wingers so chose to play a similar formation as Shev's XI..with Marquez and Cambiasso holding midfield. Juninho box to box?
ok ok..kaka's not in ..dont hang me..but that who am i spose to take off? Ronaldinho!? Could play Ronaldinho and Kaka behind Adriano which would be a beauty to watch..but this is more likely.

Shev XI''s midfield should be the deciding point...with Maldini and co having their hands full but should limit the damage from the Brazilians.

All the players should be applauded for their participation. I'll be cheering in both teams...no losers on the night. lets hope heaps of money is raised for such a worthy cause.

I hope Paolo with his charme can tell Ronaldinho and Gerrard a word or two about how good life is at Milanello

More likely Ronaldinho will be giving Kaka and Gerrard a tour of the stadium...

Ronaldinho: "and on the left here is the presidents office, oh look, he's accidentally left some £100k a week contracts on the table..." :lala: ;)
