Crespo comes close early on, then Dhorasoo sets up Kaka, who shoots straight at Amelia and for Livorno Columbo has a go, but its easily dealt with.

At the other end, Livorno has a chance with Lucarelli, but it gets no where. Apparently Dida took him out and it should have been a penalty

yeah that was such a penalty, lightening nearly struck twice, thats how they scored they're first goal at the beginning of hte season. we are v v v lucky

I don't have tv so I'm not sure, but they had a free kick which was headed at Dida who parried and Colombo got the rebound.

i think seedorf needs to come on for ambrosini and possibly tomasson later on in the second half if needs be, this is probably sheva's worst game of the season. this game is going to be seriously tough to turn round, but we can do it

I think that Seedorf will come for Ambro.

I again call for Rui Costa. Why cant he get a game? Carlo has to realise that he is one of the better dribblers and passers that we have in the team...why cant he seem to get a game?
Ambro is an excellent ball winner, but he (as I briefly saw when the Juve feed went down) has no vision in the final third...(watch him set up a goal now with a deft touch in the box or something)...I would be happy to eat my words, but the Livorno players wont give us any space, and Ambro just isnt the player to have against that tactical approach.
Now Sheva has a yellow card....we just need to score 2 goals....

Juve are all over a hapless Brescia, who seem to have no rudder, no sails, and a leak in the hull of their ship.
The Old Lady seems on course for another win, that only a "Series of Unfortunate Events" will derail.
The Brescia goal is under seige...and we cant beat a Serie A minnow away from home...with the EPL basically decided, and Barca seeming to be unstoppable in Spain, my weekend is complete with what looks like dropped points for Milan. :1ang: :pr78: :faint: :depress:

Livorno-Milan 63' Balleri racing down the right...CUTS IT SQUARE ACROSS THE BOX! LUCARELLI GETS A TOUCH! FALLS FOR PROTTI!! LOW DRIVE! BLINDING SAVE DIDA! That looked for all the world a second goal, but the Brazilian got down superbly to his left to grab hold of that.

I just hope Rui's introduction is not too little too late....he should have started the game, and now he is given a mammoth task with minimum time in which to do it...
If he fails now, Carlo will say to himself: I knew he couldnt do it.
If he sets up or scores for us, Carlos will say: I put him on at the right moment in the game.
I am sooooooooooooooooooo upset that the Portugese star didnt get more time to show what he can do...watch how he influences the game....Ambro is the type of player to bring on when you want to keep a lead, not create one.

At some point Carlo could learn something from Mancini.....
down 1-0 with 30 minutes left he should have brougt on Jon for at defender or midfielder(Max), taking out Crespo makes no sense at alle.
We can´t use a single point, why not go all out attack kamikaze style with 3 attackers, and maybe also both Rui/Kaká....

Well I'm sad for our loss today. But... at the same time I'll applaud Roby Donadoni for putting up a great match against us. Maybe we lost our concentration this week. Not to worry there is many more games to play.

-Don't buy Gilardino! Never play with 2 gaolscorer type of strikers. While it gives you the occasional 4-0 victory in the long run it sucks. Can't name a big successfull team that played this way for a long time (02/03 we were best with Pippo first half of season and Sheva second).
-Why Ambrosini? Simply an average footballer only remembered for what he did in one good season (much like Abbiati).
-We need more different type of players (faster, 2nd striker type): Chevanton, Vicente and so on.

I saw 3 matches in 3 weeks of MIlan, and this is the worst bceause Milan is like heading to nowhere, absolutely NOWHERE when they attack... and you are definitely right.

Also, why is it you ALWAYS say we need new players when something goes wrong. We already have some great players and the fact Pirlo was missing today was as evident as ever.
However, Pirlo's absence wasn't the only factor in the loss today, the side was poor. Even Sheva had a disastrous game, which is disappointing
May I ask everybody involved in this heated debate to take a step back, relax, think about a nice sunny beach and a cool Pina Colada :beach: :2dri: (no, I am not trying to advertise Barbados here ;)).
Please remember that we are all fans of the same team and that we are entitled to different opinions, but also obligated to treat eachother with respect :)
