I am coming to Milan next month for the man utd game, I am a united fan by the way and am stopping at the mary fiera hotel, is this near the centre , bars etc any advice in regards of fine restaurants bars etc would be appreciated............
I wouldn't know, but tomorrow i'm going to Milano... all i can say that i'd so much prefer togo to Florence or Rome... or Venice... or even Verona...
If you wanna eat in Milano you eat at Spizzico or MacDonald, or if you've got money you can go wherever. Search for "Ristorante" if you want the really fancy all that.. or Trattoria if you want a normal one with quite normal prices. If you don't wanna eat microwave food don't go to restaurants that have pictures of the food.
But if you don't have any money, i'm sorry but Spizzico and MacDonald are the only places.... in the center.
paying 11 euros for two cappuccios and two brioss is absurd... but that's Milano.
hey girl!i see you got acquainted with everything!!!!:D
Spero che parliamo tra poco,ti devo dire alcune cose......buone notizie:)

Ruud. My best advice is to use the power right in front of you. The internet. If you plan everything really well Milan is a good city to navigate. Going there off the cuff can cause you to hit a bump in the road. It will save a lot of time to if you get familiar with where the San Siro is in relationship to your hotel. That way when you take the metro-line you kind of have a good orientation or direction that you need to get to. Follow the Red scarfs...meaning the Milan scarfs. It's only obvious. And be real cool and loose as a goose being an away fan. Dont mess with the police it will only tarnish the reputation of both teams and their respective countries if something sour goes down. In a friendly manner.... I really hope it is worth your trouble to see your team not go through. I sure hope mine will!
