The Chelsea president will be in Milan this weekend to talk to Galliani and Moratti about Crespo and Veron. However Abramovic have a dream attack.. adriano and Shevchenko :gun:

Italian tv today said that Chelsea want 12million for Crespo and Milan are seeing the demand too high

I agree that 12 million for Crespo is too high, given that we are interested in Gilardino as well

Abramovich can dream on then. I hate the fact that Chelsea are trying to buy every talent in the game and think just because they want them, then players will go to them. Their sheer arrogance is getting more annoying, they think football revolves around money and that there is nothing else more important.

I know certain Milan fans would like Crespo to stay and I think heis playing well, but I wouldn't give Chelsea the satisfaction of giving them any of our money and being ripped off at the same time (£12m for a 30 year old who struggled in english football, more like £4-5m at most).

Forget Crespo and concentrate on getting Gilardino and even more importantly, Ronaldinho. If we get him, let's see if Chelsea would be able to compete with Milan then. I hate Chelsea and want them to lose every time they play, regardless who they are facing (including Arsenal and Inter)

Crespo was not a flop in EPL he just had a terrible injury, do anyone remember his goal vs Arsenal??? It was terrific!!!!

Galliani is a good negotiator he may get a discount or he may insert Tomasson in the Crespo bid. Crespo said a thousand times that he want to remain with us and never to back to Chelsea. There's a possibility that if we keep our 4 current strikers Chelsea would get Gilardino, but surely Gilardino prefers Milan and as a result I think this is the last red&black season for JDT.

As for Sheva relax mates, last year Galliani said 'Abramovic offered an offer for Nesta that was unbelievable I remained shoked but I had to refuse it or else Milan supporters could have cut my head off' :nunu:

Diego Forlan scored some great goals too ;)

£12m does seem too high and i doubt Chelsea will settle for a player exchange, they have the money to buy almost anyone so i doubt they would want one of Milans substitutes.

It seems that Abramovich is getting tired of watching his money get wasted. He spent about £50m on Crespo, Veron and Mutu and of those 3 only Crespo offers a chance to make some money back (Inter will only ask for Veron on loan again) thats why he is setting the Crespo price so high but Milan have options, Gilardino specifically

i believe that much is too much i would see like 7-9 mill would be good for crespo but more then that he better have his hands free for Gilardno and maybe on side Roneldino would be fine to me

I wouldn't pay more than 5m€ for Crespo.
If they don't accpt they're stuck with him and his excessive wages - simple as that.
Then Gilardino arrives.
We have no pressure to buy Crespo at all cost - he ain't that good.

Crespo wants to remain with us!!! Galliani will surely find a way out!!

BTW Crespo played few games last year and in the Champions league he did well

From what I hear he was there to negotiate Crespo to stay at milan, and also throw veron into a deal for Adriano knowing full well that Sheva is untouchable. But the crespo price is also tricky for Chelsea as they know if they go to high then Milan will pull out and most likely sign Gillardino, in other words advantage Milan...

Did Forlan also score a goal every second game in EPL? ;)

No more than 5€M, anything else would be charity.

i agree not more than 5M for crespo.. if they refuse we get gila .. i hope we sell inzaghi and get a small speedy BACKUP striker instead... therefore we would have sheva and gila upfront, tommasson as 3rd choice and that guy as 4th.

Diego... Wooaahh,
Diego... Woo-oo-oo-oohh,
He came from Uruguay,
He made the scousers cry.

I still believe that we were wrong selling him to Villareal. He is great player. He just needed some more time to prove he is the one we need. As it seems Saha was not best decision either :(

he is slow and he is not good in heading.he doesnt need him.
we have already signed gilardino we dont need crespo
if crespo scores 8 goals gilardino will score 30 goals every season
better player
bettter scorer
stronger
gilardino is better than crespo in every part of the game

exactly.

It's as simple as that, we have no pressure to buy Cresp, he's only worth 4-6m to us. Why should we pay more?

I think Saha is the better player, he just gets injured every time he plays for France  :D

about 1 per 3 starts, but like Crespo for Chelsea he tended to put the icing on the cake against little teams and not contribute when he was most needed. They both had exceptions of course, Forlan against Liverpool and Chelsea, Crespo against Arsenal.

Crespo is seen as a flop because he arrived for a lot of money with a proven record to be the star striker and ended the season as 3rd choice behind old man Hasslebaink and Eidur Gudjohnsen....
