Inter start off attacking, but the ball goes to dida

Juve won, so must we!

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Inter have started quite strongly with a very high pressure game. They are trying to get the forwards through on goal, but its gone to Dida every time.

We need to weather the early storm.

Rui has the first real chance, but Toldo saves with his feet

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Snapster]

Anyone got any links to streams of this game ?

[triniman]

if they keep pressing we will catch them on the break....remember kaka is much faster than the inter backline

[ACMILAN1983]

Inter are still playing very high pressure and I think have had the most possession. They seem to be trying to use Martins pace to cause us problems, although no substantial chances have been made yet.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

Cristiano Zanetti turns superbly away from Gattuso's lunge...slipped forward for Martins...challenge from Kaladze on the edge of the box...RUNS FOR VIERI! But a heavy first touch took it away from him...that was a chance.

[triniman]

Milan looking pretty in midfield...Rui Costa accelerates the pace...FINDS KAKA IN SPACE TWENTY METRES OUT! SPACE TO SHOOT! But blocked...but Milan's ponderous build-up almost paying dividends

[ACMILAN1983]

despite Inter's early pressure, the more effective play has been from us, as we have been more patient and controlled in the midfield, which has led to better chances being created.

Kaka, had a shot blocked and Cambiasso had a weak shot at Dida, then Seedorf crosses but its straight to Toldo and now were holding the ball a bit more trying to build an attack

fairly hectic match so far

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Toldo looks weak trying to stop a Seedorf cross. Clearly looking like he's lacking confidence.

Were holding possession much more now and are looking the dominant side.

Crespo was fouled but the freekick was wasted by Crespo and Pirlo.

Inter try to get through quickly, but no luck as yet.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

Seedorf and Kaladze down the left...it's the Georgian who races into the box...but he's dispossessed by Favalli, who executes a lovely Cruyff turn to create time for the clearance.

[triniman]

Mihajlovic lining it up...it's thirty-five metres out...dinks it into the box...headed back across by Materazzi...NESTA GOES OVER THE TOP OF VERON!! INTER WANT A PENALTY! Nothing doing for Signor De Santis.

[ACMILAN1983]

Inter have a freekick after Nesta nudges Martins. Mihajlovic crosses, Materazzi heads back to veron, but Nesta heads away over Veron. Inter want a penalty, nothing given.

Again Toldo looks frail on a cross.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

inter obviousl;y trying to use matins to get us.....alot of long balls aimed at him...trying to use his pace to get behind us

Inter pump the ball upfield...MARTINS GOES FOR A HIGH BALL! HITS THE TURF! HE WANTS A FREE-KICK INSIDE THE 'D' OF THE MILAN BOX! But he won't get it...there was a slight push by Maldini, but the Nigerian was being optimistic.

[triniman]

Martins racing down the right...deep ball...FINDS STANKOVIC ON THE FAR SIDE! HITS IT FIRST TIME! The shot goes out for a throw, but the former Lazio man's late runs are posing a problem.

[ACMILAN1983]

Stankovic had a shot, after a good run, but nothing of it.

Then Rui slips it through to Kaka, who goes to ground, nothing given.

Inter now attack again, but Cafu and Dida deal with it.

end to end stuff in a very high pace game.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

Cambiasso with it now...into Vieri's feet...Martins is an option..CAMBIASSO TO VIERI'S LEFT! GETS IT! HITS IT! Deflected by Cafu, and through to Dida.

[Offsides]

There's a channel called G.. something which shows the game. Stream just isn't very good and it's like a slide show.

[iregk]

is it just me or does it seem like all inter? not watching the game, in work but reading from eurosport

[triniman]

Nesta down, complaining of a knock...the medical crew roar on in a golf buggy, but the Italy defender walks over to the sidelines himself and prepares to limp back on.

[ACMILAN1983]

Nesta had to go off for a few minutes but is back on. Then he has to give away a corner. Nothing comes of it.

Now we try to attack, but Inter's constant pressure results in us losing possession quickly.

Seedorf yellow carded after fouling Martins

Veron with the freekick (I think), nothing of it

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Mihajlovic took a freekick after Vieri was fouled, Dida has it.

We now attack with Crespo and Cafu whose cross/shot goes far away

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Kaladze takes the ball well from Martins, who gets frustrated and fouls. Our ball.

Kaladze is now injured and has to be replaced by Serginho!

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

Kaladze in need of treatment as he turns away from Vieri and Martins and twists something...and Pirlo indicates to the bench that they'll have to make a change.

[ACMILAN1983]

Favalli has a go!! DIDA Saves!

I think we'll have to be a little patient in this match to wait till Inter's players who are very agressive tire a little

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

expect tomasson in for rui in the second half......

[ACMILAN1983]

Rui attacks with an attack, but it ends disappointingly.

As an attacking force we need to do more, defensively were not doing bad especially considering the amount of pressure from Inter.

Kaka has an attack, but again, nothing from it thanks to J. Zanetti

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

DIDA SAVES FROM VERON!!! That was close!!!

End of 1st half!

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Goirre]

Dida saves us in the last minute of the first half!

[Goirre]

first half 0 - 0

FORZA MILAN!!!!

[triniman]

we will score in the second period.....we always play better in second half....plus inter cannot keep up the pace that they played with in the first half

[Stefan]

They are just playing long balls from Veron over the top for the whippet Martins to chase. Vieri doesn't look interested in doing any work! If we can control it in midfield a bit better, then we can beat them, but look a little weak up front with only Hernan there. Rui and Kaka have been a little quiet, but Pirlo is looking back to his best. Worrying injury to Kalahdze, but at least Sandro seems to have run his knock off.

[ilgenio]

Whenever Kaladze starts playing well, he ends up getting injured... :wallbang:

Let's hope it's nothing serious.

Zanetti always gets owned by The Derbolition Man Serginho during derby games, but I see this derby with an X written on it :D

[ilgenio]

Inter were playing long balls hoping that Martins would get on the receiving end. Rui Costa squandered the best chance for us in the 1st half and Kaka was pissed poor :wallbang:

Thank goodness for Dida's super save on Veron's shot just before halftime

[triniman]

yeah...kaladze seems to be very unlucky......

but i stand by what i said.....we will win this in the second half......i can feel it :)

[ACMILAN1983]

Second half begins with Inter trying to get an early chance

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

The second half has started in the same vein as the first. Its a strong start from Inter

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Goirre]

it seems Kakha's injury is nothing serious, but Carlo took him out just in case....

anyway, this half will be ours, forza ragazzi!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Rui tries to pass through to Crespo, but its cut out

Inter have possession

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

We're holding possession with more consistency now. Inter are trying to hit us on the break a little more.

Still no chances for either side

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

Kaka on the ball...A REVERSE PASS FOR CRESPO! But Toldo out smartly to fall on it.

51' Kaka sends Crespo racing towards the left corner flag...but he's closed down...then Cristiano Zanetti brings down Seedorf in midfield.

50' Stankovic looking to up the pace...steps away from a challenge most neatly...but can't find Vieri.

49' Serginho raiding down the left...turns far too easily away from Veron...DANGEROUS BALL IN LOW TO THE NEAR POST! Hacked away before Crespo can pounce.

[ACMILAN1983]

Veron gets yellow

Crespo needs treatment

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Goirre]

yellow card for Veron.....Adriano is warming up

FORZA MILAN!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

We build an attack but Inter break it down.

We have possession within the midfield, but Inter get it and try to attack but Cafu stops Vieri.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

we have a sayong where i am from....if u have chances to score and you don't...the other team will win the match.....i see us winning this one with a crespo or kaka goal

[Angel_Cic]

*sitting on edge of chair*

COME ON, COME ON, COME ON...

FORZA MILANNNNNNN

[Goirre]

we have a sayong where i am from....if u have chances to score and you don't...the other team will win the match.....i see us winning this one with a crespo or kaka goal
or serginho....like the old times ;)

goal is coming....just a matter of time

FORZA MILAN!!!

[triniman]

Inter with eight men behind the ball as Milan attack, all compressed into the final third...Milan just can't break through..

typical

[ACMILAN1983]

Maldini lucky not to be carded after fouling Martins. We're now dominating the match with Inter forced back.

We need to keep our heads and look for the goal!

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Goirre]

San Billy in, Rui out

Sergio will surely push forward now

FORZA MILAN!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Billy on for Rui

Serginho will push up now

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Angel_Cic]

wow....stankovic was really off on that one. lol. i can just imagine all the serbian swear words coming out of his mouth :D

[triniman]

billy in for rui.....serginho is going to make inter pay once again :D:D

[ACMILAN1983]

Kaka tries to pass through to Crespo, but Inter get it

Cafu gets yellow

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Goirre]

Crespo

Sergio - Kaka

yellow card for Cafu...and so Cafu misses next match against Atalanta

FORZA MILAN!!!!

[Angel_Cic]

[triniman]

Goal Kaka....what Did I Say...what Did I Say!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Inter trying to get back into it

Vieri and Emre both have efforts

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

And Next Weeks Lotto Numbers Are....!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Stankovic now comes close.

Inter really pushing hard.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

Serginho raiding down the left...OUTSWINGING CROSS! CRESPO RISES HIGHEST!! Heads over

we are like sharks...smelling blood in the water

[Goirre]

it should be noted that Rino had a hand in the goal ;)

Inter just missed a big chance!!

FORZA RAGAZZI!!! FORZA MILAN!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Adriano for Cambiasso

Ambro on for Seedorf

about 10mins left, COME ON MILAN! HANG IN THERE!!!

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Goirre]

Adriano in, Cambiasso out

so Inter is now with Adriano - Vieri - Martins...bah, San Paolo alone can take care of that ;)

and Carlo makes the obvious move, Ambro in, Seedorf out

FORZA MILAN!!!!

[triniman]

time for "lock down" ambro to enter the game.....as someone here perfectly calls him

[ACMILAN1983]

Emre causing problems and is a constant threat.

Inter aggressive as ever now

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

and there are some racist chants from the Inter fans...disgusting.

when will people learn!!!

[Goirre]

Emre yellow carded

8 more minutes, FORZA MILAN!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Gattuso has a minor knee problem, but I think he's ok.

Kaka attacks, but gets no where, but we have possession.

Van Der Meyde for C.Zanetti

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

Gattuso on the pitch clutching his knee after a clash with Martins...

[Goirre]

Van der Meyde in, C. Zanetti out

[triniman]

4 more mins plus injury time..

come on milan

[triniman]

Van der Meyde on the left...but Gattuso in like a flash to disposses him.

at a boy rino.....show them the pit bull in you

[ACMILAN1983]

Inter constantly trying long balls. But we've been fairly comfortable for the past minute or two

Almost into stoppage time

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

2 mins plus injury time

[Goirre]

4 minutes of extra time

FORZA MILAN!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Nesta fouls, Inter freekick!

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 mins left now!

[triniman]

inter freekick.........

come on milan...keep alert

[ACMILAN1983]

Inter (Adriano I think) offside

Our ball, we just bang it away as far as we can

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[triniman]

Mihajlovic with it, just twenty metres out...level with the left side of the penalty area...the box awash with players...but the delivery is utter rubbish, a criminal waste of a promising position. Is that it for Inter?

[ACMILAN1983]

Final Minute!!!!!!

Come On!!!

Forza Milan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ACMILAN1983]

Full Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We Win!!!! Inter Lose!!!!!!! What's New!!!!! :D
