Hi there, I’ve registered here not to rub the victory in your faces; but rather congratulate your team on a game well played.
I’d like to say that we fully deserved to win; but I don’t think that’s possible. AC played a hell of a first half, showing why they are one of, if not the, best team in the world. Crespo, Kaka, Pirlo, and Shevchenko (to some extent!) were amazing in attack, and our team was practically in awe of them the first half. Your backline, however aging they are, proved a stong match to Liverpool’s pacy frontrunners. I was completely shattered at half-time, but somehow knew that one way or another, we’d be able to claw our way back into the game.
The penalties, as they probably were for you too, were a nerve racking experience. Somewhat of an unfair way to decide who will be the Champions of Europe.
You got some tough breaks in the game, and we got some lucky bounces. Perhaps some things were just meant to be. This final is dedicated to the 96 fans we lost at Hillsborough so many years ago; and Pope John Paul II. I look forward to some more great matchups between our teams in the near future, providing we’re allowed into the Champions League next year.

Thanks.
Frankly it would be senseless not to let Liverpool defend their title.

The mods must have had a field day trying to organize countless similar threads :D
:kap: I have just registered to thank your fans for making the final a fitting spectacle.
I have travelled to Juve and Roma to watch games over the past few years and the reaction from the home supporters was very hostile to say the least.
Obviously the final was played at a neutral venue and we took more supporters over but I sat with a group of AC fans in the West upper and the atmosphere was very friendly all through the game.
A lot of your fans remained behind and applauded Liverpool after they received the trophy. That must have been very difficult, especially given the circumstances that you lost the final in!
:respect:
p.s.. That Forza Milan banner was awesome!

ciao Rafa, still believe that you did not win the CL but we lost it.
Anyway, well done to your team and see u next time .................
Thanks to Red All Over and Rafa for their comments.
It's good to hear that Milan fans are doing the club proud, unlike the fans of some other Serie A teams!
Congratulations on your win guys - I just hope we can take the trophy off you next season!!!

Better than Milan?????? :howler:
Liverpool fans, thank you for your comments, posts like this deserve huge respect. Both teams can say that they were a part of the most spectacular final of the old continent ever played and i as a Milan fan am proud of my team even though we lost.On another note, you are great supporters and your team is lucky to have you(you`re something like Milan`s supporters but in the UK;)).This wasn`t just the match between 2 greats of football but also a match between funtastic supporters on both sides.Congratulations on your win.
P.S.
One thing i`ve noticed,we had a huge outpour of ManU supporters when we were about to play them, and they are nothing like you guys, you`re much better behaved and your posts are great(i remembered that koku guy.....oh man,was he difficult to understand or what?! :D)This comment doesn`t not include some of our members who support both Milan and ManU(cough steza cough rae;)etc etc)
FORZA MILAN!

Hi guys im a new member just signed up 2 today what a bugger about the final....like all milan fans i was upset about loosing the final but i know next season in the CL we will go 1 better next year and i brought a jersey for the final especially for the final and will always be proud to wear the most famous red and black stripes of milan.
Better than Milan?????? :howler:
Obviously, they outnumbered Milan supporters 2-1. Where were our fans when we needed them?

If you think that the Milan fans let the team down, then you were clearly not watching the same match as me!!! :finger:

All I am saying is that we should have had more fans in the stadium.
