No, Chelsea are going for Del Horno of Athletic as well. And Milan are trying to swap Kaladze for Hernan, but Chelsea want adiditonal money. fair enough, i'd say.
from www.goal.com:
I can't see that either of these is really good for the club: Simic hasn't performed this season and is just taking up space on the wage bill IMO and Kaladze is a good player who we should try and keep. I suppose if we have signed Jankulovski, then I can kind of understand why Khaka would be allowed to leave, but to be honest I'm not happy with either of these developments.
IF these rumours about the cash Atheltico owes us are true then we should use that to get this guy, never heard of him myself but Kaladze hasn't been that good for us, any quality left back would do a similar job.

Kaladze is a solid left back and plays well when called upon. But I think now is the time for him to leave with Maldini and now Jankulovski ahead of him. But I think Chelsea wouldn't pay what I think he's worth.
As for Simic staying I doubt he will play much anyway.
Changing kaladze for crespo AND giving extra money is crazy!!
Crespo doesnt worth that much, and Mourinho wouldnt even play him if he comes back, he is just saying stuff so chelsea can get more money from us.
I believe Atltico Madrid still owe us a ton of money but it's not Del Horno we will be making a move for as it seems he belongs to Chelsea but maybe Torres or their left back Perea (who is wanted by Real and Inter).
Selling Kaladze is way too crazy! Janku is able to play Serginho/Seedorf's role while Nesta-Stam is far less comfortable.
Kaladze eyes Milan exit
Monday May 30 2005
AC Milan's Georgian defender Kakha Kaladze is to leave the club with Chelsea his reported destination.
Kaladze has not been a regular for the club this season, and Gazzetta dello Sport says in Monday's edition that he is joining the English champions.
After Sunday's draw with Udinese, Kaladze said: "I'm disappointed to leave, but I need to play much more."
Issue: Football365 (http://www.football365.com/teams/chelsea/story_153709.shtml)It is crazy, but likely...

Del Horno is almost certainly on his way to Chelsea so i doubt Kaladze will be going to Chelsea too. If he is coming to the Premiership it might be Arsenal? Cole is a great left back but might leave because of a contract dispute that got ugly (he got caught meeting Mourinho  ) so maybe they want Kakha as a replacement.
Im not sure why we should sell him anyway, as Stefan said it hinges on whehter Jankolowski arrives or not....

Even so, having Simic stay and Kaladze leave just doesnt sound right. :wth:

I would like to see Khaka stay with us even now that we have Janku. IMO, Janku would be more useful in a Seedorf/Serginho type of role for he is not exactly a wall at the back. The only way I would agree to see Khaka go is if we sign Chivu or somebody else who could play solidly ath left back.
As for him going to Chelsea, if del Horno does end up in London, I am not sure how Khaka is going to get more play time with Chelsea than he is getting right now with us.
One more thing - it is Atletico Madrid that owe us money and not Atletic Bilbao, and del Horno plays for the Basque outfit from Bilbao, not for Atletico Madrid. Don't get these two confused.

But putting him in Seedorf's position can only mean its either him or Seedorf that will be benched. Hes better in that position but I think Milan bought him for the LB position maybe?

For the Czech Rep NT Janko plays at LB but in Serie A for Udinese he is more of a left wing/wing-back player so I doubt Milan bought him for his defensive abilities - something he has never truely impressed with. Of course he can be used at LB in some games vs lesser opponents that come to only defend at the San Siro but vs big clubs we would need someone more solid at LB.
I do hope that Milan haven't bought Janku to replace Khaka with him for we would be very quickly back on the market for a solid left back before Christmas time.

Yeah I know that, but again I dont see him playing Seedorf's place because none would be content with being on the bench. But to buy Janks as a LB for Milan wouldnt make much sense either..

I think Jankulovski will be our first-team left full back, so Maldini will not be playing on the left flank so often again. San Paolo will focus on playing on the center.
Kakha will seldom find himself in a match, remember we still have Pancaro who is also going to compete for a spot on the letf back. I am not sure whether they are really going to let Kakha go, but it might happen, I think now we still have 5 players, excluding Kakha, who can play there.. Janku, Maldini, Pancaro, Serginho, and Costacurta!
I dunno, but my idea is rotating Cafu and Pancaro on the right side. Simic will become a backup half-back. He stated several times that he feels more convenient to play as half-back. In this case, Simic will hardly get a place. He will have to wait a chance, because we have Maldini, Nesta, Stam, and Costacurta here. And dun forget, Kakha can play on the center too.
If it is up to me, I will keep Kakha, and let Simic go..

Costacurta's days in Milan as a competitive player are long gone - these days he is more useful as a "teacher" to the younger, less experience defenders, although we don't have many from them either.
As for Pancaro, I am pretty sure that we signed him on a 2-year loan deal from Lazio and if he stays for any longer we will have to negotiate with them a new deal - loan or permanent. And if, in the end, he does stay with us, he will be used as a defender of last-desparation and play only in Coppa Italia games or when every one else before him is either injured or unavailable.
So all-in-all we have 3 players who could be be considered LBs and from them only Maldini and Khaka are solid in defense as Janku is much more effective going forward.
Kaladze is one of the few under 30 in our defence. He deserved to play more this season but Carlo insisted to re put Maldini in the left and Stam as a first choice. IMO Stam should sit on the bench and be the no. 1 replacement for Nesta and Maldini.
I would have sold or released Pancaro since he's 33, but I'm not the boss.

I'd imagine Janks would come to Milan for an automatic first team spot which is possible only for the LB position, but thats not what hes good at.
Which suggests that Janks and Seedorf has to compete for their place in the first 11 then?
I think it's a bad mistake to let Kaladze leave, he's the kind of player we need to keep.
I read somewhere that Pancaro is only on loan anyway and has to go back this summer. If that's the case then he's gone. I don't see the point in playing Maldini at left back anymore and it's not the way forward. Having Kaladze and Jankulovski as our main left backs seems the logical thing, but when has logic ever played a part in football.
Jankulovski was moved further forward this season as Udinese had someone else to play left back. He can defend and i think left back is the position we should play him. Yes he can play Seedorf's role from time to time, but i would hope we will get a better midfielder to take Clarence's place. I'm not too bothered if he gets benched, he'll just have to work harder.
As for Simic, i can't see why he would stay, he would surely be third choice if we got Oddo.
Simic will be a central defender Jim,
I'd imagine Janks would come to Milan for an automatic first team spot which is possible only for the LB position, but thats not what hes good at.
Automatic first team spot in Milan? :howler: That was a good one.
Kaladze is good, but not vital. He is very good in locking up the defense, but in offense he lacks the killer touches. Wether he will be needed or not for us depends on our overall plan for the team and defense in general.
yeah janku would easily start with milan... i dont see whats funny!

yeah ive seent that in various newspapers....
i think its a poor move because hes a defender first and foremost and we haevnt got much of them...
everyone is saying what a great buy jankulovski and he is a great buy for the midfield not for the defence.
khaladze was a strong resilient defender who i thought was fairly consistent when ever he played. he was never a "push over" as he had speed and strength in abundance and offered stability at the back he sometimes even swung in a decent cross!! (just ask Roma fans!!)

I always liked Kaladze but he was nowhere near instrumental this season as he was in 2003 ....
he faced a number of problems and had trouble finding his form and integrate. In addition, I always found he had trouble being a stay-at-home defender and at times we needed him to be. He made great leaps and bounds since the Terim days when I could remember a blunder of his everygame. However, he really developed and was always lethal on the flanks for a while.
Given that we have Marek Jankulovski I am confident he can step in and THEN some ....
Regarding Simic, he will not be missed as he barely played this season (did he?!) if as rumors suggest, we get Massimo Oddo (who I think is under-rated) he will be a "CLUTCH" acquisition and will add positively to the Defense.

AC Milan's Kaladze says has agreed Chelsea deal

TBILISI, June 2 (Reuters) - AC Milan's Georgian defender Kakha Kaladze said on Thursday he had agreed personal terms with English champions Chelsea.
"Everything between Chelsea and myself has been agreed," Kaladze, 27, was quoted as saying by Sport-Express newspaper.
"It's a five-year contract and I'm very happy with all the conditions I was offered.
"Now, the only thing left is for Chelsea and Milan to agree on a transfer fee," he added.
Kaladze's father told local media on Wednesday that his son would fly to London after Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Albania in Tirana to sign a contract with Chelsea.
Kaladze's move to Stamford Bridge has been rumoured for weeks, although both clubs and the player have remained silent over the contract negotiations.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been looking for cover at left back and Georgia's captain fits the bill.
"Milan had offered me a contract extension, but I refused. I want to go to a new country, I want a new challenge, I also want to learn English, which is spoken worldwide," Kaladze said.
"Since Roman Abramovich took over the club, Chelsea have joined the world's elite, they have become a superclub. And it's my dream now to play there."
well i would hate to see him leave Milan, have always liked Kaladze.
if he goes to chelski, and Crespo comes our way, well really, chelski should be the ones paying money imo :(
Well it is sad to see Kaladze leave, but the fact of the matter is he wants to leave. He wants a new country and so on - and there is no reason to hold on to player who is not happy...
Kaladze is a good player that have helped Milan achieve important goals. It is sad to see him leave, but we shouldn't keep players who don't want to stay.
I wish him all the best at his next club :star:

He forgot to cite the REAL reason why he refused the contract extension....he realized he would have even less starting time with the arrival of Jankulovski. I doubt "learning English" was one of his main motivations for leaving :D
Too bad. I find Oddo really over-rated (and didn't we own him at one time in the past?), Simic useless and always liked Kaladze. For his sake, I hope Chelsea doesn't do what they seemed to do last summer and over-buy over the break. They've already got too many quality players and some day soon someone is going to complain about sitting on the bench. Whatever. That's their problem, and I suppose one every top team would like in theory...
Mourinho has himself stated that he is looking for 3 players, a left back, midfielder and a Striker, del Horno is moving there so I think Kaladze has his work cut out.

This swap wiil be the best choice of Milan, and I think of the Rossoneros pay addictional money too, for this great business.
I'm very saddened by Kaladze's departure and if it's true that we're giving Chelsea Kaladze AND money for Crespo ... i would say that we're being stitched up ! There's no way we should be doing all this for Crespo, he's not that important to us. There are other players with more promise that we should look at first.
If Chelsea do get Del Horno, then Kaladze will just get limited playing time again, like he did at Milan, which will be terrible for him.
I think now, we need another left-back, i'm tired of all this nonsense about playing Maldini at left-back still. It's not the best solution for the future. Stick him in the middle where he's best and let Jankulovski play there. Sure, for some games i wouldn't mind Maldini at left-back, but only for a handful of matches.
I think Milan should look to get the PSV left-back, he was solid against us and he has great stamina and commitment. Plus i don't think he'd cost alot either.
I just don't see any sense in any of this at all.

Crespo did score 18 goals for us this past season. I am not complaining about his performance at all, especially as it was his first season.

I have a feeling the starting back 4 will be:
Jankulowski-Maldini-Nesta-Cafu
and the back-up back 4 will be:
Pancaro-Costacurta-Stam-Oddo/Simic
Not that I agree with this, but that seems to be the way we are heading, unless Jankulowski will play instead of Seedorf that is...
killiegradge
02-06-2005, 16:51
I do agree that th back four should be jankulowski-Maldini-nesta-Cafu.Unless he is not fit will Stam be happy as a reserve?Stam for me is way too unpredictable-he can have some great games and some real stinkers.
i think it is best to play jankulovski in seedorfs place, because:
1) seedorf seriously needs to feel his place is under thread and janku could easily take it from him
2) if we put another attack minded fullback we seriously risk it defensivly, having cafu as our only attack minded defender this season alone caused problems because he left gaps at the back, with janku similar to cafu this can be even more threatening.
3) 1 of the big 3 CBs has to be dropped... PROBLEM
i hope milan dont play jankulovski at left back because then we`d really be in trouble.
take cafu for example awesome going forward but cant mark or tackle to save his life, its the same with oddo (should we get him from lazio) and jankulovski.
i wish milan would buy defenders who could first and foremost defend then attack second.
we`d surely have a more secure and stable back four and even team.
look at our previous defenders in a back four.. we had the likes of panucci and tasotti who could defend and then attack same goes for maldini and erm.. maldini (can`t remmeber to many left backs who took his place apart from ziege or chamot etc...)
but you get my point we need fullbacks who can defend.....
:firedev:
Its a long long season and at times Im sure even Billy will play. I havent seen Janko play yet but I would never leave Stam out of the team for him.

AC Milan chief: Chelsea deal possible for Kaladze
tribalfootball.com - June 3, 2005
AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida has admitted left-back Khaka Kaladze could be on his way to Chelsea in the summer.
"It's possible," he said of Kaladze's potential move to London. "For the time being Milan are not in talks with Chelsea regarding Kaladze but this could be the case in the near future."
Kaladze said he had already turned down Milan's offer to extend his contract.
"I refused," he said. "I want to go to a new country, I want a new challenge, I also want to learn English, which is spoken world-wide.
"Since Roman Abramovich took over the club, Chelsea have joined the world's elite, they have become a superclub. It's my dream now to play there."

Kaladze to sign Chelsea contract
Written by Chris Nixon
TIRANA, JUne 3 (SW) - Kakha Kaladze's father has all but confirmed an imminent move to English champions Chelsea.
Speaking to gathered media ahead of Georgia’s World Cup qualifier against Albania in Tirana this weekend, Karlo Kaladze declared that his son would sign a contract with the London club- after his international commitments were completed. "After Saturday’s World Cup qualifier against Albania in Tirana, Kakha will fly to London to sign a contract with Chelsea. Everything has been agreed, it's just a matter of signing a contract."
It is yet to be determined how Kaladze’s transfer would affect any move for Athletic Bilbao’s Asier del Horno. Chelsea has been linked with a £9 million move for the Spanish left back, but signing Kaladze may put an end to such rumours. Kaladze can also operate in midfield, should Chelsea boss Mourinho decide to continue his chase for the Spaniard.
It is expected that Argentine striker Hernan Crespo will move in the opposite direction as part of the deal taking Kaladze to London.

Now, after the meeting between Milan and CHelsea officials, it seems that Crespo will stay with us for one more year on loan - thus we won't have to pay a large amount of money for him - while Khaka is still a Milan player and Galliani is believed to have set his price at ~15 mil (euros?). There will be another meeting next week to finish up the matters.

Milan's Kaladze to meet Chelsea officials

MOSCOW, June 14 (Reuters) - AC Milan's Georgian defender Kakha Kaladze is heading for Moscow on Wednesday to talk to Chelsea officials about a transfer to the London club.
The 27-year-old fullback told sports newspaper Sarbieli on Tuesday that it would be his first face-to-face meeting with the London club.
"I'm going to Moscow tomorrow and I'd like to find out finally whether Chelsea want to get me or not. This meeting will clarify the situation," Kaladze said. "Milan do not want to let me go."
The English champions are reportedly ready to pay 4 million pounds ($7.24 million) for Kaladze, significantly less than Milan's valuation.
Kaladze waits for Chelsea switch
AC Milan defender Kakha Kaladze claims he is unconcerned by the delay in his proposed move to Chelsea.
A meeting between Chelsea's chief executive Peter Kenyon and AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani in Milan last week was expected to finalise the Georgian's transfer to the Premiership champions.
However, with no official confirmation from either club that the deal has been completed, Kaladze's move has currently come to a standstill.
Reports linking Athletic Bilbao defender Asier Del Horno to Jose Mourinho's outfit could be one of the reasons for the delay, but Kaladze is remaining patient.
'I'm in my house in Georgia on holiday and I have no news regarding this,' he said. 'I've said what I had to say to the Milan executives, they know what I want to do and they are used to making players happy.
'I will wait and see what happens.'
Kaladze came close to leaving the San Siro last summer but the Rossoneri opted to keep the 27-year-old, who made just 19 Serie A appearances and played in five Champions League games this season.
If Kaladze, whose contract at Milan runs out in June 2006, does depart then his club-mate Andriy Shevchenko admits he will be disappointed to see him go.
'We have to accept it because in the past two years he has played very little and he always has the will to play regularly,' the Ukrainian ace told AC Milan's official website.
'The team will lose a very good player but more than anything I will lose a very good friend and that saddens me.'Do not know what to say... we can get money from that transfer though not too much... :rollani:

SHEVA READY FOR SUMMER BREAK
6/14/2005 2:55:00 PM
Andriy Shevchenko spoke to the Milan Channel just before leaving on his summer vacation and looked ahead to the new season. He said: ’I think Milan does well to maintain the same eleven players from Istanbul, the team did some excellent things. All that was missing was the result but perhaps destiny intended us not to win in Istanbul. Now, it’s right that same players try again, but it’s also important to know that next season will be a different story for everyone.’
Speaking about the Rossoneri’s transfer campaign, Sheva welcomed the arrival of a top player. He added: ’I don’t know the plans of the club, but I can assure that Milan have a wonderful group. A star like Alberto Gilardino? He would find an enviroiment ready to receive him with open arms, and he would also be happy himself to play in this team.’
The Ukrainian then focused on his friend Kakha Kaladze who is set to leave Milan: ’He has made a decision with his heart and that must be accepted, he has not played that much in the last two years and he really wants to play consistently. The side have lost a really great player but more than that I have lost a true friend, I am really disappointed about that.’
The vacation has just started and Sheva has a clear mind: ’Now I want to dedicate myself to my son Jordan, along with having rest and maybe relaxing playing golf.’
Have a nice summer, Andriy!

No need to open up new threads for every bit of news regarding Kaladze's transfer.

Today Italian media reported that there may be some trouble for Kaladze to Chelsea and Hernan to us. According to media, Milan didn't liked the fact that recently Chelsea tried to apprach Sheva and Gattuso (A Cole style), plus that Chelsea where shocked that we asked 13M euros for Kaladze, which honestly I think he's worth not more than 8M.
Chelsea where shocked that we asked 13M euros for Kaladze, which honestly I think he's worth not more than 8M.
Why does Chelsea pretend to be shocked when it is reported Kenyon asking Barca to pay 10M pound (15M Euro) for Gallas?
It is reported that Chelsea only wants to pay 4M pound (6M Euro). Good defender is hard to find on the market, besides Milan does NOT want to sell Kaha any way.
I do agree that th back four should be jankulowski-Maldini-nesta-Cafu.
It seems that everyone is talking to use Janku as a left-back. How good is he ACTUALLY as a left back?
So far I know he plays as left winger for Udinese most of the time; left back only at NT.

Marek as a left back ? i dont think so . Stam moved Kaladze the great to the bench and Marek sits Stam ? it's nonsense :dconf:
i dont think we will have a specific lineup for next season... i think the number of times u see janku as LB are equal to those where he would play at LW... however overall i think janku can be put in the midfield category and will play at LB when one of the big 3 defenders are unavailable, he would become LB while the other 2 available CB play in the center while seedorf plays in his current position... i think this is the season where seedorf will be denied the starting spot
I think Janku will be played at LB if Cafu is not playing at RB.
Today on Italia uno, I saw that Kaladze may stay becasuse next year Cafu and Costacurta will leave and in 2007 Stam and Maldini will leave so we will be out of defenders and price of young defenders as Kompany is high. According to them Kaladze might stay because he will have a secure place in a year or 2.

It willbe great if he can stay with us. But what will he do in these 1 -2 years? Ideally we should loan him to another team for one year for him to get playing time.
BTW, I hope Milan does NOT succumb to Chelsea's threat of taking back Crespo. Chelsea and Kenyon have to learn that they can't bully anyone as they like. Here is Milan.

However I don't want unmotivated players with us.
me neither. I would like Kakha to stay but what bothers me is that he sounds unhappy and unwilling to stay with us and this makes me unsure if I would like to see him at Milan starting next season.
Also I am not sure he has much reasons to complain, I mean he played a fair amount of games not to mention that he was also unavailable at times due to his common injuries. And if he believes he would get much more playing time at Chelsea than here, especially if they get del Horno as well, I am pretty sure he has made his calculations rather prematurely.

Exactly, I can't see Kaladze playing more than he played with us at Chelsea considering they have already Bridge and should sign Del Horno!! Plus that as CB they are coverd with Terry, Carvalho, Gallas and Huth, even though Gallas or Huth may leave.

Translation please, anyone :D

Or from http://skysports.planetfootball.com/transfernews.asp?type=article&id=285310:
No deal yet for Kaladze
by Nadia Carminati - created on 17 Jun 2005
The protracted negotiations between Chelsea and Milan over Kakha Kaladze show no sign of abating with the two clubs yet to concur on a deal.
Premiership champions Chelsea are keen to take the Georgia international to Stamford Bridge and have now been engaged in talks with their Italian counterparts for some time.
Wednesday had been mooted as a possible date to conclude a deal but reports in Italy have suggested Chelsea are reconsidering their position due to the fee being sought by Milan.
The future of Argentine striker Hernan Crespo, who spent last season on-loan at Milan, remains subject to speculation but it is expected that a similar deal will be struck for the new campaign.
However, Kaladze's move to West London appears to be more complicated - although the player is nevertheless still confident that a deal will materialise.
''I want in this story everyone to be happy,'' said Kaladze.
''In the last three years Milan have given me a lot and I don't want to have quarrels.
''But I also want to be sure Chelsea really want me and the coach and all the staff are happy with my signing.
''I'm waiting. I think next week we will decide everything. But at the moment I am a Milan player and it doesn't seem to me to be a worrying situation.''

Hey rae...dont knock it :D...it works well for me when my spanish speaking colleagues send me email in spanish...I know it is garbled, and out of context..what is really fun is to hit the translate button a couple of times, and get totally different translations for some words... :5drunk:
But basically, I think the context is that the transfer is now on rocky ground, or storm tossed seas, (which ever analogy your prefer) where as a few days ago, it was smooth sailing, or smooth road....
As has been mentioned, I think Milan are a bit put off :argue: by these nuveau riche b***t**ds from Stamford Bridge via Moscow, and their supposed tapping up of Sheva and Gattuso. Hence the "breakdown" in dialogue between both parties.
Also, Mr "Abramo-gotta-get-every-rated-player-movich" seems to want Gila as well, along with Etoo..now lets see...
Drogba out....Kezman out...that leaves Chelski with only Gudjonsen and some other no name striker (who I believe was out on loan) so they in essence are in the market for 2 strikers...maybe we could trade JDT for Huth?
Getting back to the topic...Kaladze should reconsier his move, as I am sure he will have more playing time this coming term than he had last season.

Chelsea target Kaladze slams AC Milan pals
tribalfootball.com - June 18, 2005
Kakha Kaladze has had a dig at AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti's selection policy.
The Georgia international is a target for Chelsea and told Tuttosport yesterday: "In football there is a law that at Milan they have not learned to respect.
"Usually, those who make mistakes must remain outside the team. Instead, at Milan those who played badly continued to stay on the pitch like nothing has happened."
triballfootball talk bull****, again ???
Just sell Kaladze. Milan already have Jankulovski. They need 2 find a replacement 4 Costacurta.Pls tell he is not playing next season! Cos if he is,he's just wasting a spot for another player.Nonetheless,i appreciate what he has done 4 the club
thats pure bull.
Kaladze said "Even if I don't join Chelsea, staying at Milan is not a worrying tought"
And now tribalsh*tball comes up with this

Kaladze would never say such things
Kaladze non vale certo Crespo (Gazzetta dello Sport)
19/06/2005 11.22.00

keep kaladze.
Chelsea signed Del Horno last night from Bilbao for 8 mill. pounds. Does that mean the Kaladze transfer is off now..??
it should be but Chelsea apparently want both..
They also have Wayne Bridge, so they want 3 players in the same position...?? Hard to believe, but maybe true...
from Channel4.com:
No Chelsea move for Kaladze Wednesday 22 June, 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Milan say Kakha Kaladze is now unlikely to join Chelsea after talks between the two clubs stalled.
The Georgian international was expected to complete a move to Stamford Bridge but that is now in doubt.
"Kaladze won’t go to Chelsea," said Milan Vice-president Adriano Galliani. "There is a difference between our valuation and their offer."
The Rossoneri were hoping to net close to £8m for the player, even though his current contract expires in 2006.
The Premiership champions may now forget about the swoop, especially as they signed left-back Asier Del Horno from Athletic Bilbao last night.
Milan are now hoping that the problems with the Kaladze deal won’t affect their plans to keep Hernan Crespo on loan for one more season.
"Crespo knows our position," added Galliani. "Chelsea are also aware of it and they should inform us later today or tomorrow whether the Argentine can stay.
"Crespo has demonstrated that he is a great player. I really do hope that he can remain with us."
There were some reports that Chelsea would allow Crespo to stay if the Italians sold Andriy Shevchenko to the London club.
"Shevchenko is not for sale," Galliani responded.
*****************************************
Again, does this mean he will stay with us..??
Southernsun
22-06-2005, 09:14
-gazzetta dello sport www.gazzetta.it

Pippo: E' un ottimo giocatore: con rinforzi così noi siamo contenti, perché possono aiutarci a vincere. A me basterebbe giocare 20 gare, ma essere decisivo"
MILANO, 29 giugno 2005 - "Gilardino? Ben venga. Io?
In particolare in attacco.

In particolare in attacco.
Togliendomi altre soddisfazioni".
Inzaghi is saying that he wants to play with continuity and is hoping to arrive in hale on July 14. Nothing we don't know.
As for Gilardino he says: "He is a great player and so young. Anytime we get good players it is a pleasure."
That's the gist of it. :u125:

Kakhaber Kaladze’s proposed move to Chelsea is definitely off after he signed a new deal with Milan on Thursday.
The Georgian international had less than a year left on his previous deal but is now tied to the Rossoneri until 2010.
Kaladze was confident of completing a move to Stamford Bridge this month but his transfer collapsed.
He had agreed terms with the London club but Milan’s £8m asking price was deemed as too steep for the left-back.
Kaladze opened the door to a San Siro stay this morning, during an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.
"I’m happy in Milan but my problem is only a technical one – the fact that I haven’t played too much," he said.
"My contract expires in 2006 but I hope to find an agreement with Milan, possibly even for a renewal."
Kaladze has struggled for a first team place with stiff competition coming from Paolo Maldini and Giuseppe Pancaro.
FORZA KAKHA :w155: :w155: :v408:
Shevchenko will be happy for that news, I hope Kaladze will be important next season with Jankulovsky and company
I don't believe that Kompany will come, at least this summer. :grinser:
and it is true, Sheva will be EXTREMELY happy. They are good buddies. :kiss2:
congrats to kaladze on extending his contract. a valuable player who the fans love. i am glad to see him stay! forza kala!
I, for one, am happy that kaladze re-signed. He is a class plaer but also this releases Janku to play on the left wing....FINALLY giving Seedorf some real competiton......
Yes, it is pleasing to hear Kaladze have re-signed. He is great players, and will definately have his chances next year also.
Last year Kaladze was involved in total 26 matches, and that is not that bad to be honest. With Kaladze's re-signing, we have him, Jankulovski and Maldini for the left. Now it will be exciting to see whether we will buy a new right back. We have Cafu, but also Simic, Stam and Costacurta can play that position.

At last this will put an end to the Marek as a left back madness.
Forza Kaladze :5guitar:
