PSV final say as Chelsea agree Alex deal with Inter Milan
tribalfootball.com - June 10, 2005
Inter Milan have struck a deal with Chelsea for Brazilian defender Alex.
Chelsea own Alex's registration, but he is currently contracted to Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.
Inter supremo Massimo Moratti struck an agreement with Chelsea chief Peter Kenyon on Wednesday for Alex, though the final word will be left with PSV. Chelsea have agreed to sell Alex for £6 million.
PSV have a two-year loan agreement with Chelsea for Alex and Inter must convince them to release the 23 year-old.
what does that have to do with milan?
it doesnt.. i got confused where to put this but i thought maybe we can dedicate this thread to any ongoing alex rumours... many people here would like him to come while weve also been linked

if this is true, which I doubt for now, we missed one of the two young defenders who were more or less ready for a Milan experience - Alex and Chivu.
What seems doubtful to me is the very low fee of this supposed transfer - just 6 mil pounds.

it should go to general football forum.
what does that have to do with milan?
are u serious of course it has to do with milan.
good threat mk18
Tribalfootball pull stories out of their arses. Chelsea aren't going to give up Alex especially for £6 million. The only reason he isn't at Chelsea is because Brazil's coach is a ******* idiot and keeps picking Roque Junior, who isn't fit to carry Alex's jock, in defence and without International caps South American players can't get work permits in England.

Zé Roberto no! Ronaldo in the place of Adriano, Luisão in the place of Lúcio, and Robinho in the attack with Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Kaká in the wings.

Brasil PENTA!!!!!!!!!
Alex is not going anywhere, he stays at Eindhoven. But after next season...that's a whole other story.
Hopefully he won't go to Inter. Alex is one of the best defenders in the world and at Inter you will not play for trophies.
last i heard was that Inter were planning a loan deal for him. Chelsea won't let him go, but currently they are well equiped in central defence.

I would have gone for a similar line up:
--------Dida
Cafu-Alex-Lucio-Carlos
--Juninho-Emerson
Robinho-Ronaldinio-Kaka
-------Adriano
but I doubt that they will play that way, and they can clearly do without my advice.
