Ok ... we wait for Gilardino confirmation, but why don't we talk about an alternative !!!
and i think Park Ji Sung is ready to play in italian football, he fast, cheap and will increase Milan profit.

And lately, i read that Park Ji sung was connected with Man. Utd, and the value is only 4 million pound. So it's equal with the money we've got from selling Kaladze to Chelsea, beside that like i wrote before Park will increase milan profit from selling merchandise in far east ...

Park could be a very useful signing, as a alternative to Seedorf.

Park could be a very useful signing, as a alternative to Seedorf.

He is not a alternative to Seedorf since he lacks the defensive and tactical side of the game. He is more akin to a Kaka position IMO.

nah Park is a true winger IMO.

But he isnt the great one. People keep confusing him with Lee. He's the good one.

His work rate and ability to go out wide is why I said he would be a good alternative to Seedorf.

The two flaws you have mentioned are areas that can be developed, as we did with Pirlo.

I think he'd be a good buy for Milan, but I somehow dont see the two forming a relationship.

park work rates is over rate like gattuso, i think he's work rate like nedved ...

and i think he's position is second striker and he can play as winger too ...

He is not a young talent, if I remember correctly he is 29 or 30 years old.

Park is 23 yo so pretty much a young talent. I think he is has a lot of potential yet to be discovered. His position in PSV is left wing, when they play with two strikers, but more often he plays a supporting striker, along with Farfan, to their main forward Hesselink. This 2-1 upfront is very common in Dutch football and was the main tactics Cruyff's Barca used so well with Stoichkov and Laudrup behind Romario.
In Milan he could definitely b tried out in Seedorfs position or simply take Rui's place in a more dynamic and attack minded X-tree formation.
one thing is certain - he is a very good player and being 23 yo, 4 mil is a very good price for him.

I think Zlatanov answered well enough about the age (I believe he's born in 81).

I do seriously believe he could be a very good signing, but I doubt we'll see it.

Lee is the left-back isn't he ? With Park looking very likely to go to Old Trafford and IF we sell Kaladze, maybe we should sneak a bid in for Lee as a back-up for our left-back position ?

If we sell Kaladze, it means we don't have a true left-back at the club. Jankulovski, Maldini, Serginho ... none of these are natural left-backs (not anymore in Maldini's case) ... and if Pancaro does leave, which i think he will one way or the other, then we'll be short of a recognised left-back.

Would be a good signing i think.

Why buy a mediocre player and learn him to play in a new position when we can buy a great one that fits into the role like a glove?

how is Park a mediocre player? He ran rings around us in the CL semis and he does naturally play in the same area as Seedorf, but would need some adjustment to play in that position. However, like Seedorf, he provides creativity and a lot in the build up play in a side and his work rate is off the scale (like rino). Develop his defensive areas a bit and we have a very good backup or replacement for Seedorf.

Currently, I can't think of many who are able to replace Seedorf's role on the field. If you can name me a great player thats available to play Seedorf's in Milan without adjustment then don't hesitate to mention him. ;)

I find him a mediocre player. He plays in a much more offensive role than Seedorf, like a wingstriker. work rate of the scale? I don't agree.

Name one? Gerrard, Emre, Ballack, Deco, Baraja. That's only mentioning top national team players.

He's more offensive than Seedorf, but I don't consider him to be a "wing striker". Can you explain why you don't consider his workrate to be extremely high?

Of the players you mention...

Gerrard doesn't naturally play in Seedorf's role (more central) and isn't always suited to the role as has been shown when Sven tried him in a very similar role for England. Plus, he is unavailable.

Emre is a possibility, but I would personally take Park who I believe is better (opinion).

Ballack and Baraja play a more similar role to Gerrard than Seedorf, so again, its unlikely we'll just slot them in without adjustment, that on top of I'm not a fan of either really ;)

Deco I won't even comment on as personally I consider him to be one of the most overrated players in football.

Ask any barcelona fan and many would say he was their best player in a fantastic season.

Deco is a disgrace. Just for his attitude. Also, he goes missing in a lot of games.

i dun like deco, he seems useless to me. i never see him do any moves or score any decisive goals. imo the only way he cud ever fit in milan is if ancelotti turns him into pirlos back up

Well, I must say Deco is one of the reason for Barca's success this season along with Eto'o and Ronaldinho. He is a player who can make a difference and you can't just judge his skill based on the quantity of his goals for Barca.
He is more or less like our Kaka, playing as a playmaker, supplying ball for the bloodlust Eto'o, sometimes make the breakthrough for himself to score one.

And as for Park, I would like to see one of the asian play for Milan, I'm from Asia and I think it would be a good oportunity for Asian player to adapt with one of the most fierce competition in the world. But fortunately, Milan is not the team for Park, at least I don't see the reason why Milan should buy Park other than the fact that Park is the new merchandise booster for Asia Market.

About MU put his eye on Park, well....MU under Glaezer is a profit minded MU.
They are trying to raise the ticket even for the fans, no wonder now they are trying to secure Asian market whenever they can, and signing Park would be an ideal way.

I read before in this thread about Milan's policy to sign Vogel, he is certainly not a star player such as Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Gerard, etc but he is a suitable replacement for Pirlo. we need more players like Tommason who doesn't complain too much as a rotation status.

ok ... i'm from asian too. About Park he has had an aggrement with ManU.
And i always corious 'bout, Why people always think the reason of sign Asian player just for increasing Club profit ???
I'ts maybe hapenned for China player who signed by ManU, but Park has profed that he not only player who can invreasing Club Profit but he has quality. He proof he can bring Corea to world cup big four, he one of PSV key player. So it's really good oppurtunity to Milan to have player like Park, beside he can increasing club profit he also can make our squad stronger.
