Ascoli were originally not supposed to be playing in the Serie A, were they? We should be able to beat them just fine, as long as we don't underestimate them. But I think the players feel like they have a thing or two to prove this season, after what happened during the last one, so my guess is that we'll give Ascoli a good beating.

Here is a link for the series A schedule. This link has also been posted to the series A forum/chat. Just thought that I might aid those who wish to see this throught out the year, when the forum might disappear into the un-used posts and e difficult to retreive.

no problem :5ok:

i think the schedual is good this year however it depends on what happens with the CL ... if we can go to the last matchday i with juve or inter i think we would clinch it because we would be playing home vs roma with motivation while inter and juve have tough away games at cagliari and reggina respectivly

maybe we can win the double this season

Just remember where we lost the scudetto last year.
Never estimate lower teams as Ascoli, we had problems last year, because they defende in force, but it is also true, that Vieri is here to make those games different.
his presence in the penalty area could be an advantage.

im not underestimating teams like ascoli, what im saying is that theres a difference of weeks between each 'big' game and the other which will put less pressure on us, unlike last season where we showed fatigue just when we were facing the big games... we had fioretina away, psv home and away, juve home all in a matter of 2 weeks

So I am thinking of making the trip over to Milan later in the season to try and catch a big game, and possible a champions league match as well . . . would it be better to try and go durring the early rounds of the champions league?

Thanks for posting this info mk18...

Now to Ascoli.

Dont know much about these minnows, but as history has taught us, we need to be careful not to slip up against these smaller teams, as we need all the points we can get, what with Juve having most of the refs in their pockets.

The three man defense may very well be featured in this match, as Ascoli are sure to pack the defense/midfield in order to blunt our attacks.

I am sure we can beat them, we just need to avoid complacency...finish our chances, and deprive them of goal scoring opportunities, and the three points are ours. Easier said than done especially away, but we are Milan, and should put the fear of God (or the :devs: devil in our case) in the hearts of these Serie A newbies.
