why can't we post pics or gifs in our siggies below? make it compulsory to use another site to host it, but pls allow us to do so.
most other forums allow for that. meh.. doesn't bother me, but just wondering why this place doesn't
The reason it hasn't been allowed is it really gets in the way of the posts, its likethe posts are buried in the middle of pics. Not to mention it increases page load times a lot.

i agree with Reza. i've noticed that at other forums...it takes me so long just to find the post/text...because i'm immediately drawn to the big as$ signature!

well sigs can be disabled. i have them disabled right now so i can't see even the text sigs :)
Thats true Nadir and that has actually been mentioned before, here and in other forums, as a possible 'solution' for those who don't like to see the pics or text.
I'll open a thread and seek the other mods and admins opinions to see what they think as well :)

it's good to have feedback from other posters as well, we are a community. it's good to have an open discussion, Reza knows i was'nt meaning any harm, just pondering and wondering how other posters felt. I did'nt give an ultimatum or anything, just a general discussion, thats why this part of the forum is made, and pls don't take anything i said in a a wrong sense it's a query :kiss:
this, like the Multimedia forum, was requested a long, long time ago but to no avail. ;)
We should have sig size limitations, like 300x100 for example.
Im all for this, more than the Multimedia forum. But we need both.

with all due respect, it's a standard in every forum out there except this one. Why is this forum being so snot-nosed and snobby about it? it should be available by default because we CAN turn off sig display. There is no reason at all why it should not be allowed since the images are NOT being hosted locally. :d55:
We should also have options with regards to the Skins we use, i think a poster should be allowed to experiment with the skin he/she wants to use, and for ppl who like the current skin, they too will have option to keep it. :guw:

The option to turn sigs off is available to all, and comes with all installations of this type of forum (vBulletin)...under edit options in usercp.
Its not only a matter of server space either thats why its not on by default.

that's what i mean. it is available to all vbulletin based forums. not that it matters to me because i turn of sigs etiher way but i was just wondering what advantage it serves to have it disabled.
to be honest, i do find them annoying and would not turn sigs back on :)

again, TURN OF SIGS if you don't like it lol. and it won't take up space because it's not hosted on MM servers.

I still prefer pics in sigs :tong:
