hey i noticed something, rae ... i know the reason why u post crazy predictions like those, u get to name the biggest number of possible scorers and u get points from that, instead of being confused between who'll score from sheva, gila, kaka, pirlo, vieri u name them all and u should get atleast on of them right if we do score. also chances are that milan win so u get points by chosing the winning team i think.
can we have some changes to solve this or should we all start doing the same things... its kinda weird to predict a 6-3 score most the time and be third :D

actually with the new points system I can assure you that whoever predicts like that might constantly be in the top 10 or so in the standings, but has no chance of winning the PL at the end

Hi all!! one more week for a new season to start!.....so time to get predicting again!
Many of u know how this works already, but for those who are new to it (hopefully many new people will join!), all you have to do is guess the score and the scorers in order to get the most points possible and climb up in the standings!
Lets gets to the rules:
1) If you correctly predict who is going to win (or if it’s going to end in a draw), you receive: 10pts
2) If you correctly predict the exact score, you receive: 20pts (in this case Rule 1 applies no more)
3) If you correctly predict the scorers, you receive: 5pts for each one correctly predicted
4) If you correctly predict the exact score PLUS the exact scorers, you receive a bonus of: 10pts
5) Just for participating you receive: 5pts/per match (this way those who participate constantly will be rewarded with this bonus)
Some IMPORTANT tips:
1) Submit predictions of scores and scorers BEFORE each match kick-off (predictions made after kick-off will not be accepted)
2) When writing down the names of the players who you think will score, if you think a player will score twice, write his name twice or indicate 2 next to his name. Same applies for hat-tricks and so on.
3) Predict for ALL Milan official matches (Coppa Italia matches, Champions League matches and Serie A matches)
4) Try not to miss any predictions, but especially when it comes to big matches, some of them (especially toward the end of the season) will count double! So you don’t want to miss them.

You didnt break any rules so far, otherwise I would have warned you. You can predict as you wish, there is no rule that says you can't predict high-scoring results......the only thing I said was that someone predicting that way has no real chance of winning the Prediction League because under the new rules although a person might get a few extra points from predicting a scorer correctly, he/she is also giving up the chance to earn tons of points from predicting the correct result ;)
off topic is there anywhere u can see the Prediction League standings?
The standings are found on this same thread and are updated and posted every three matches or so

Milan 3 - 0 psv would be nice, and will show how "lucky" we were with juve again ;) ...with that same defence I wouldn't doubt a clean sheet this time, but we sooner or later need to break through this frightening 3-0 barrier to send the resounding ROAAAAAAR... So even with 11 behind the ball, we've already met them and clearly know how to pressure them but this time we've also improve our defence, and confidence... so a clean sheet is for sure and at least two goals 4 us...FORZA MILAN!!!
