I have the same experience as this in a manchester united forum, Rez. Last season, mufc was in the same groups as fenerbahce, and suddenly a bulk of turkish is signed up to the forum just to wind up everybody. They post some scene about "how scary" is sukru saracoglu and they said that ali sami yen just a kids playground and other bollocks things including some turkish language LOL. In fact, they cannot go through the group stage LOL. I have the feelings that more of them will registered soon on here, Rez.

It's only football fans but... how they behave.... like an animals... disguisting. And I should add that this sh!t happens not only with Fenerbahce fans but also with some other club fans form Turkey too. Like Galatasaray or Besiktas... :rollani:

don't get me wrong. what i mean is that there are manu fans who still hang around here.
watch your words "Describing somebody behaving like animals" seems like you hated Turkish "with some other club fans form Turkey too. Like Galatasaray or Besiktas..."
You are only making things worse with that kind of remarks.
Let the matter be handled by the admin or mods if it goes out of hand.

Actually there are some great turkish fans here in MM, however this time was not the first one when I faced the ignorance of turkish fans. Last year when United played Fenerbahce happend the same sh!te in one forum. Now it's in MM. Moreover years ago several turkish teams visited our country. They played in Intertoto and UEFA cup matches with our teams. Turkish fans were very rude and impolite. They did not treat with respect not only our fans but also our country. They ripped our national flag from one house and tore it apart. I have also heard and I bet you have heard about accident between english [Leeds] fans and turkish in Istambul several years ago... So these facts formed not a good attitude to turkish football fans, in general. Although as I have said, there are some really intelegent turks here and in some other forums who highly respect ;)

I canot say I accept your attitude. You cannot generalize these kinds of things. I have seen an English fan trying to have sex with the Turkish flag in the very center of İstnabul, in Taksim Square, this does not make me say all English are like this. I have been robbed twice in Milan, but this does not make all Italians thieves, this may happen anywhere in the world. I totally disagree with you. I had to say this, regards...

Well Rae is talking about when Turkish Fans went to Lithuania and did this. The English incident is an example of what happen. Of course it goes both ways with Turkey vs English fans. They have had huge problems. But with Lithuania??? No reason to burn their flag in their own country by away fans. There shouldnt have been any previous rivalry or grudges between the two teams/fans. Now there probably is and this incident that happen in Rae's home country by Turkish fans has created bitterness. This is what he's talking about. Rae's not English.

OK, I would ask now when did the Turkish fans go to Lithuania? I don't remember? But my point is not this, it's not right to generalise these kinds of things. And, whatever happens, there is no reason or escuse behaving bad to some other country's flag or being bad to people.

I think I remember last year Trabzonspor playing with Riga at CL qualifiers. Well, I just have to shut up at this point considering that Trabzonspor fans had attacked at the Hotel our players also.

True, but apparently the experience Rae had when he witnessed what the away fans were doing sure did leave a strong impression. Mind you I dont think he's speaking about all Turkish fans nor Turkish fans in general. He's just explaining what he saw. I dont think he's talking about any national team games. He's talking about an Inter Toto competition...meaning some other club finding a backdoor way into the Uefa Cup.
He is also explaining the frustration we previously had with Man U fans coming here and causing trouble in our site. As a matter of fact they managed to cause a serious virus in our forum bad enough to shut this site down for nearly a week. The people running this site went so far as to even find another company to help maintain MilanMania. Apparently the previus company was unable to fix the mess that was caused. They basically caused a lot of headaches and for no reason other than our team beat them. Now the same thing that some Man U fans had done earlier we had from some Fener fans a couple of days ago. So you see the memories of what happen to us from Man U fans and now this is still fresh. Mind you, we have had many respectful fans from Man U and Fenerbahce here. But what the other guys were doing was unacceptable by treating this place like a chatroom.

Now to give you some credit... AByss. RAE I can vouch that ABYSS did on her own good judgement ask those guys(some Fener Fans) making trouble to stop this...and they did so on her accord. SO AGAIN THANK YOU ABYSS for interceding in this incident. Right now you are just reading all the residual frustration about what happen. Anyone is very much welcome to this site but we all have rules to respect.

Even I don't understand what you are trying to say, you can. You can have any nick name. Let me give you the link.

Or what you say is if you don't like us, you can easily ban me.

PS: It is not Fenerbache, it is Fenerbahçe...

Now it's not that strange. It's a city very near to İstanbul, 40 min. only, but I never could dare to go there for a game. They are in the second division for three years or something now.

why don't we ban those from other clubs who come here to make a nuisance, we should not have to put with their nonsense as nothing constructive comes from it, genuine fans who have come here to enjoy themselves and have interesting discussions are welcome but the rest STFU.

I don't mind giving Turkish supporters (and rivals :D ) one thread in which to carry on -- it's funny more than anything else --, but I suggest that any posts in Turkish be deleted from other threads as soon as they're posted. This applies to the game thread in particular. We should prepare now, because we know we'll have a repeat of this situation for Game 5.

this is a serious question..

Abyss

I know why you are saying this, but I am gonna try to reply you in a serious way. As far as I know, no. But noone in Turkey can say that there is no Greek blood in their veins, and noone in Greek can say that they don't have any Turkish blood in their veins. That's this simple. And as for my favorite player is an ancient Greek Fenerbahçe player, I am proud of this. He has done I think more than you have done for this country. OK? And he is the legend of Turkey, you know that, don't you?
