He does, it's his second season now. And so Anelka does, and Appiah. And Aurelio, you will learn his name, and Tuncay Sanli and Selcuk Sahin, a lot others, Serkan Balci, Rüstü Recber. I cannot count all the team, but yeah there are a lot of players you know and you are going to learn.

Fenerbahce seem stronger than last year when Rooney destroyed them at Old Trafford, Anelka and Appiah have top level experience to add to what was already a decent side. Tuncay is a good player, and Alex is dangerous. Recber imho is overrated but on his day is still a solid keeper.

Just out of interest, how do you Fenerbahce fans view Anelka?

I really wouldnt like a guy like him at my team, when he plays bad he moans at everyone and when he plays well he tries to engineer a move to a better side :eek:

i don't rate Rüstü Recber at all. anelka seems more of a liability than an asset.

may the better side win when we clash with them, and we know who that is ;)

For your info, Newcastle United wanted to transfer him the whole summer. Guess what, he is still with us. NU had to find a nother solution for themselves. And, I haven't seen any of those attitudes from Anelka since he came. We knew also van Hooijdonk had some problems in every team he played for, guess what, when he was here, he was not like his old times. Well, gone now, but, a small note.

Small note: Rüştü Recber will most probably will not be playing in San Siro, Volkan Demirel will.

Fenerbahce rejected Newcastles bid though, not Anelka ;)

Newcastle are focussing on Owen but if they offered Fenerbahce the same money they offered Real then i think Anelka would be a Newcastle player by the end of the day.....

anelka wanna lay in chaps. league in this season because he wanna show his ability to everyone again and join france national team...but what about newcastle in this season? nothing...

True, Newcastle have little to offer but a season of premier league football will raise his profile more than 6 Champions League games. He wanted to go but Fenerbahce couldnt agree a price with Newcastle, if they fail to get Owen they will come back for Anelka in january......

Let me tell you something man, if a player wants to go, you cannot keep him in the team by pressure. He won't be efficient. And trust me, Fenerbahçe board is not that stupid. And Anelka declared he wanna stay. And, that Souness idiot will be fired before January. Even if he does not, he should pay Fenerbahçe really good money, otherwise he will be staying for sure. Anelka is good, but if someone offers good money, why shouldn't he leave? We can have any other forward, it's not a big problem for us. Someone talented from Brazil, Parreira can send us. Trust me.. :ilol:

I don't know.

We know that he's an exceptional player but he won't give his 100 percent on a game, and I do not know why! All of the FB fans are behind him, they are supporting him and show acts of support in every situation. But yet, somehow he doesn't have the will to do anything extra for the team that we know he's capable of doing. I mean he is at Shevas and Kakas level of experience and skill, and he's playing at Fenerbahce. He's working against his own self. But this last game, he played the full 90 minutes. It was a suprise, really, he usually plays a half and asks to be substitued. But last game, he actually worked around and made an impact. (He even scored a goal) I would love it if he played like that every match. He "might" be in the process of finding himself again, but you never know with Anelka. He got a mood-changing disorder if you ask me.
