What do you mean? I s there something written here that something bad will be done to you? Did something happen when Milan fans were in Turkey? Or did you hear anything about something terrible happened to some teams' fans who had travelled to Turkey? Pls. answer my question straight. Or if you know any, ask some Rangers fans, Panathinaikos fans how they were welcomed at the airport by flowers and dined and made friends.

I don't accept some Fenerbahçe fans' behaviours coming and written some stupid things but some Milan fans are also the same.

And please write exactly what you mean under this post.

All of that is nothing but propaganda. When you come to Turkey, you'll be safe. But if you start flipping of people, of course you'll get a couple of punches. They won't just attack you if you're peaceful.

Don't be so touchy, Abyss. It's a well known fact that playing in Turkey isn't easy. I took ac_milan_foreva's comment to refer to the game in the stadium, not to the whole of Turkey, so please calm down. Milan fans don't go looking for trouble, we go looking for the win.

Anyway, IIRC, the return leg against Fener is our last group stage game. I hope by that time Milan will have qualified in first place and will be playing some of our bench players.

And shouldn't this thread be moved to the CL subforum?

The last game is not Fenerbahçe Milan, we play with PSV in Eindhoven. 5th game is Fenerbahçe- Milan.

And, it is so obvious that he does not mean the stadium and football. He is talking about people visiting this forum, if you read it carefully, I think you are going to understand it.

I also don't want anyone gets any trouble. But I cannot just read and write nothing for these kinds of replies. What he means is very obvious.

Fifth game then. Whatever. We'll just have to win however many games it takes to get us through in first place, whether it's in Turkey or anywhere else.

And no, ac_milan_foreva's meaning is not at all "obvious" because I still disagree with your interpretation of it.

Im saying it would be a hard match and it will be difficult to play under that atmosphere and it would be intimidating as usually teams dont do so well in Turkey.

Yes Turkey is a tough pace to play, but Milan really should be able to win there. It really is the place to put the Istanbul memories behind them as they have been going on about doing so much.

And what does it have to do with "Turkish visits" being "tough"? What we call this in Turkish is belly dancing.. Sorry...

Let me tell you what, why that thing happened last year in İstanbul is all the self confidence, with the team and with the fans. Fans were too sure of themselves, they were walking around on the streets, too proud to talk to anyone and they never gave the enough support to their team, that's what it is. Liverpool fans were always cheering and supporting their team. When the first goal came, Liverpool players found the power in themselves to do it. Even after the 3 rd goal, Milan could change the score, but I don't think fans encouraged the team. I was there, and I did not see support from Milan fans. That's it. The higher the expectation is, the harder you fall.

now we have a new interpretation (not requested and in the wrong post as well),

btw after the first half i hardly saw anybody singing in Liverpool's end. They got back into the game, we wasted one million of chances, but this has nothing to do with the fans. Your interpretation is just useful to your argument, totally out of place and completely off topic.

We usually play badly in Turkey. I can't remember the last time we won there. We've lost at Ali Sami Yen. We didn't do well in Besiktas. The final defeat at Istanbul. Hopefully, Milan can get over their Turkish boogey. I bet Gila will score first. I think it's his maiden appearance in the Champion's League

Still lots of time left for this game to make any arguments towards the score. It all depends on their situation at the time on how they will perform. But I think Fenerbahce will take this game, because the fight for the second game is going to last untill the last game of the group stage while Milan will probably secure the qualification untill than.

I am not writing anything for some request, sorry guys. And whether it's off topic or not, does not change the reality. Liverpool fans supported their team all game long. And there were more Liverpool fans, guess why. I am not here to tease anyone, but I simply wrote something that had happened. I was there and I saw why Liverpool won the cup. I t was by the help of fans, and Milan fans doing nothing.

D you know we brought 100.000 fans in Barcelona in 1989 for the final with Steaua Bucarest?
I've watched Juventus -Liverpool among the english fans, cause i live in Turin..they are great but we've nothing to envy them for sure..i can tell you that cause i've been inside Milan's end for some time. How many years didn't they attend a final? That's why they had more fans than us. After 30 years we didn't attend a final (1969-1989) we could fill two Maracanà stadia if the tickets were available.

Well, what I was trying to say was something different. A lot of Milan's fans sold their tickets to Liverpool fans, do you know that? I cannot say this for all. But Milan's fans left the team alone, that's the truth. And some sold it over money because there were Liverpool fans around paying 3000 € for one ticket... And Liverpool's fans are known as supporting their team all game long, whatever the result is. They did it all game long. Milan's fans did not. They were confident but Liverpool fans were firing their team. Even after Liverpool's third goal, Milan could do it, but there was noone firing them. But Liverpool had a support, a really good support. Maybe they were hungry for this, and for Milan it's a routine, I don't know. That's what I saw.

i know that our hardcore supporters never stop to support the team; that day probably was different because, as everyone couldn't believe my eyes... it wasn't the case of a late equaliser, we were 3-0 and if the referee didn't disallowed sheva's goal we would have been 4-0. Out of reach.
People in Piazza del Duomo was already celebrating (i was there) and organising the party after the match. Who could believe that, after one of the best display of football a CL final has seen in the modern times and an hystorical first half? We were completely gutted and i can tell you that i was one of the most optimistic..people got hysterical after the 3-3 and i saw so many people crying after the final whistle. I took it better, but i can't blame people stopping to sing. If they have stopped, everyone would have stopped. I know because when the ooposite team scores , inside our End they start immediately to sing.

I don't know about the people who sold their ticket for 3000 euros. I know people spends loads of moneys to watch Milan everywhere and if they found a chance to earn two months of wage, having a family to feed or debts, many of them to watch football across europe, i don't blame them to have sold the tickets for such a sum.

I repeat: i was inside the Liverpool end for the match against Juve and we have nothing to learn from the nonetheless respected Liverpool fans.

Have you ever seen our coreographies? I've never seen them at Anfield. But you don't talk about them. Is supporting just singing or that part of supporting didn't fit into your argumentations?
I highly doubt Liverpool are in general so loud that we could be ashamed of our fans. I've seen Milan winning in Turin 3-1 and Liv qualifying in the same stadium against Juve. Milan took delle alpi by storm..the Juve crowd was silent.. Against Liverpool i just could hear some chants here and there.

It's so cheap to praise the english fans and blame the italians on such an event. It's a sort of clichè.I invite you to San Siro, then you'll have your say..

I have seen your coreographies, they are good, and you did also good. But this does not help when the team looks at the stands. It's the same for my team also. Also, it did not help Brondby to qualify against Ajax, they have done the best I can say. They are always good in coreographies. But support during the game helps the players.

And by the way, I need to say I have no hatred against Milan or their fans, I need to tell this in order that you don't get me wrong. But the fans at the final last year was no good. Well, not all maybe, but the sum looked not good, they could not do it. Liverpool fans did. And I prefer Milan to Inter. OK?
