Given the complicated way in which the number of allowed non-EU players in Italian squads, does anyone know how many spaces Milan are currently allowed? Or how many are free?

im not sure but a lot of the teams are just giving their players citizenship so they are eligible to play. i think roberto carlos just got spanish citizenship so he can play for real.

All the Serie A teams can buy one non-EU player from outside Italy every year. They can buy as many non-EU players that play in Italy as they want.

I think they can also free up slots by selling non-eu players. so if Kaladze left we would be able to buy two non-eu players from outside italy. I think.
