I have been wondering this for a while now, why are there pumpkins on the sleeves of the referee and linesmen in the serie a?
I have no clue... probably a sponsor?
anyone living in Italy who knows if any brand uses those pumpkins as logo?

the reason the refs and liners have pumpkins on there sleeves are that its a sign to show that the referee isnt biased in any way. or so they say on football italia
i do believe the pumpkin is a sign used by a major bank in italy, therefore its safe to asume it's a sponsership deal i heard that from an italian friend. :devf:
yeah its a logo of an Italian bank, they said so on gazetta in the UK

Okay thank you guys, I have been wondering this all season!
After wondering about this for a long time, I finally discovered that it is used by ING Direct in Italy. Not sure of the significance?
