my attempt at translating:
The offer is now official. Jorge Machade has received an offer of 8 million euro for Rafael Sobis from Milan. The agent of the player is waiting for a fax from Juve and Inter. Corinthians see this offer too low and still want 10 million.

I really dont know if this is true or not, but Calciomercato did say that the offer is official, so i dont think its rumours

Today there are rumours that Milan are going to swap Simic for Terlizzi of Palermo, is Terlizzi any good? all i kno is that he plays center back with Barzagli. If the deal goes through it will be in the summer...

Rafael Sobis is certain a great prospect, but I will go for Agüero instead, 'cause he's even better.

Sobis? We could do better, but we seem to have an obsession with Brazilian players.

I totally agree, we have to balance that.

I thought I was the only one that knows nothing about this guy. :d33: :D

He's a young (20 years old) and fast striker, who is extremely determinated and has an awesome conclusion. However, he is not the "bomber" type, he still did not developed the "killer instinct" for goal. He kicks very well, knows how to pass thru the defenders, but has a lot to learn about the shortcuts that lead him to the goal. He has been elected Campeonato Brasileiro 2005 best striker, above great players like Tevez.

I`ll be glad to see such a player in MilaN!!!!

We do need a striker who is fast, who has good pase. Gilardino is very slow, and he is a "in box man" he can only socre if the ball is near the goal. We need someone who can run at the defenders and go past them. Sheva is almost 30 so we need some young blood.

great news... i think we can make sobis a better player, i was hoping we would buy a fast striker, i just hope it can be confirmed... though i dont know much about the kid but if he did better than tevez then who knows!!!

as for the simic-terlizzi trade, i reallly hope it can happen, of the few highlights ive seen of terlizzi, he has done well and he grabbed the headlines alot by scoring around 6 goals this season, all as CB... we need that when it comes to corners and free kicks at times, i just want to see some actions in the transfer market thats all.

Rafael Sobis!!! Really!!!??? This is getting ridiculous!
Some considerations:

1) Rafael Sobis is not Milan material. Suazo (Cagliari) is much better than him in my modest opinion. Sobis did absolutely nothing last FIFA U-20 WC, at Holland, and Rafinha had a far better performance than him there.
Sobis did a very good Brazilian championship, but he is not capable to score tons of goals like Fred did last year or to play uomo squadra role, like Tevez;

2) Corinthians, a Brazilian team, made a better offer (US$ 10 mi) for him!!; :eekani:

3) We DESPERATLY need young defenders and I read this kind of news. If it's true, I think it's time to sack Galliani & Braida. Maybe Mr. Moggi and Mr. Giraudo are better options to rebuild our defense. :dconf:

Sobis is really a very good striker, but I guess Milan can think higher and pick someone like Torres.

i have to agree.. i saw lazio-cagliari and inter-cagliari last week and i thought suazo would be perfect for us... he can create goals and score them... kinda like van basten but needs more personal attention to become a real deadly striker.. something we should give him

no no no... not even a quarter as good as MVB... but hes a similar type of player... the tall guy who can do everything and create his own goals.. infact shevchenko is the nearest thing to MVB IMO

Oh, what a pitty... but certainly someone like MVB doesn't appear everyday, he was really a MASTER.

are you saying suazo is a tall player?!?....what i recall is that he is small and fast but not tall like Van Basten....anyways he will be a good 3rd or 4th choice striker for milan. it'll be nice to see a fellow central american play for milan!!

I really never pay much attention to the guy, but I will repair that!

Exclusive from Calciomercato:

The thing I can get is that Milan will send someone to meet with Sobis and his agent in Port Allegre on 19th of Feb. Milan has offered in the region of 8m euro in January but it was rejected by Independiente. Need help translating the rest.

Meanwhile, yesterday and today, another exclusive report from Calciomercato indicate that a new name has come to our transfer list: Plasil from Monaco. When Braida travelled to France to watch Cris, he was impressed by Plasil i believe.
