A team with serious flaws not to mention the fact that 3 of the singings will never ever happen.

Your team has 3 sentre backs and no right back, no defensive players and an 18year old midfeilder is an attacker?

The team I'd hope for next season would be...

Goal:New keeper "x"

Defence: New right back -----Nesta------maldini----Chivu

Midfeild:Rino----Pirlo----Seedorf

Attack:Kaka----Sehva---Gila.

Our attack and midfeild are fine all we need is a few defensive players to replace stam and cafu and a few reserves to fill in for maldini and nesta.

Messi is one of those players who could be classed as either an attacking midfielder or a deep striker  so you are both right........and both wrong ;)

.....................Dida..........................

..Gallas....Nesta.....Chivu..........Cole....

......Gattuso.....Pirlo......Seedorf..........

......................Kaka.........................

........Shevchenko.....Gilardino.............

Messi is an attacking midfielder, just like Ronaldinho and Kaka. He does however want to drift next to the side-line just like Ronaldinho does. Anyway, he won't come here, and neither will Ronaldinho. At least, not for next season.
So for next season:
Dida/Abbiati
Reveillere(Lyon)(?)/Cafu-Barzagli(?)/Nesta-Chivu ?/Maldini-Kaladze/Jankulovski

Pirlo/Vogel or new back up

Gattuso/Ambrosini Seedorf/Ballack(?)/Sneijder(?)

Kaka/Rui(?)

Sheva/Amoroso Inzaghi/Gilardino

Serginho and Simic would also be in the squad for more alternatives.

One of Chivu or Barzagli will do, as to puchase both of them + Reveillere would cost a fortune.

All this can be done for not a lot of money and I think is very possible that we will see this line-up next season. Reveillere and Chivu/Barzagli would cost all the money. Ballack would come for free, and if not, Sneijder will come for cheap. Only 3 signings. That is all we need.

To me 4 transfers are sufficient to wonderfully reshape the squad, and we have pretty cool options at hand: 2 players between Lugano / Vanden Borre / Barzagli / Chivu / Reveillere for the defense; 2 players between Sneijder / Ballack / Camoranesi / De Rossi for the midfield; and in my humble opinion, if we choose to pick only one man for the midfield, a striker to replace Inzaghi, perhaps Kuit or Torres.

Dida/Abbiati

Defense

Oddo /Bonera
Nesta/Terlizzi
Barzagli/Terlizzi/
Chivu/Jankulovski

Midfield ---combinations of the following players

Gattuso /Sneijder/Behrami
Pirlo/Ambrosini/ (defensive center mid?)
Camoranesi/seedorf/ Diana

Kaká/Sneijder

Forwards

Gilardino /Torres
Sheva / (iaquinta/Corradi/kuit)

with the team i choose i think it could a relistic team, if not next season, seasons to come..... ive tried to choose more european players, plus players that can play in different positions.... another thing is that my team depends on if maldini and co go, and what manager we have next season...

there is another thread that is very similar to this one... and besides both of these should be in the discussion section not the transfer one

Guys....be realistic........or you might as well call this a dream-team thread.

Graeme C, that is a good team you have lister there.......but lets be honest. Milan will never buy 7-8 players in the summer. That is just not our policy, and as far as I am concern, I think it is wrong to add 7 players to a team at once. Milan buys 2-3 players...the MOST 4, and then 2-3 leave.

Well maybe milan should change there politics, buy 7-8 players at onces ina sumer and keep them for about +7 seasons, but that means for them to be young and good;)

i think we will have to change the policy this summer. I think signing 3/4 players is ok if no big players leave. At the end of the season we are going to loose-- Stam, Costacurta, Cafu and maybe Maldini. So signing 7 wont be too bad.

We can use Simic to get Terlizzi, and kaladze to get Chivu (well i can dream).... Behrami, Diana, camoranesi would be good for the team to get some width.

Diana definetly, Kaladze maybe for Barzagli and we could get Chivu as replacment of Stam, as a replacment for Maldini we would have to get someone real special like Marquez.
