Why? I think one day Maldini may sit on Milan's bench surely not after Ancelotti though.
beacause i dont like him any more cause he dosent retire and he dosent help the team any more his simple presence is not enought any more, and plus great players dont mean necesarly good coah so i ready see a profesion coah on milan`s bench.

As I can see tha forum unfortunatelly has many unsincere Milan fans....
i am a fan of the team,if for u the team means only a player well that makes u a maldini fan not milan, milan aint about a player alone,am i right?
Pretty much a sure thing that all future coaches will be former players and why not somebody like Maldini? If we are are considering guys like MvB or Donadoni its not like they are the most experienced coaches around so why not him?
Wow, a female actually bashing Paolo Maldini. This is definitely a series of posts that need to be framed and displayed in the Milanmania forum Hall of Fame. Very soon we'll see ***s and donkeys flying.

I like him very much. But I guess there are some other players who are no respected the way they should be. First of all is Costacurta. Nevertheless I never would say that if San Paolo becomes our team coach I stop supportin Milan - it's absolutely ridiculous :p146: :r7: Maybe he wont be the best coach ever but if we do not try we never know. So if he is ready for such an experience I stand by him :proud:
Forza San Paolo
Forza Magico Milan
I would like maldini to be our coach somday and I have high hopes for Basten even thou hes an attacking coach
My Milan's Coach Plan:-
2006/2007 - 2008/2009 donadoni
2009/2010 - 2013/2014 Marco (Cuz he is coaching holland now)
2014/2015 - 2018/2019 Maldini
LoL Wont be true thou
2019/2020 could be sheva
if maldini gets to be coach then im not gonna be a milan fan anymore.

just because someone you hates becomes the coach will stop you supporting a team that you claim to love,
... and you are saying that you are a fan of the team.
sorry for being rude...

I would hate to see him take the coaching position and fail at it. He has had a near flawless run with Milan. Better to leave a legend, then be hated as a failed coach, who used to be a great player.

well said, u spoke my mind bro.
If anyone deserves our adoration and admiration, it's Paolo Maldini. He's given his life's blood to this team and yet is one of the nicest people you could ever walk up to and have a conversation with.
But all that aside, Paolo has stated many times that he has no desire to become a coach. Even if he's changed his mind, it would take a few years for him to actually arrive behind the bench. Remember in Italy, coaches have to have a coaching certificate and that takes time. Plus I'd imagine the team would allow him to cut his teeth on one of the youth teams, just to get some experience.
Yeah, Goose, can you believe it--a female that's bashing Maldini. :dumpf: I'm dumfounded myself.

Stranger things have happened I am sure...like Vieri scoring a brace for Monaco! :D
Maldini wont coach Milan, maybe he will be a scout or something, or like Baresi, manage a youth team...but I dont see him coaching..he has denied wanting to do it too many times for me to even consider him in that role.
Now that I think about it, actually reading Warro's post jarred my memory, probably a year ago my friend Angelo said they'd like to have Paolo in public relations for the team, b/c of his popularity and his way with people. That would be an excellent move!

yeah imagine if he was not a successful coach, the thought of milan firing him would be terrible.
if he wants the job at some stage when there is a vacancy though i think he deserves a shot at it considering everything he has done for us
Maldini could not only do a great job in Public Relations for Milan, for FIGC, and even at UEFA/FIFA level... he also has a lot of experience as Ambassador for UNICEF and other organizations... I think that's what we would like to pursue...

I m sure Maldini would be a great coach. He understands a lot in tactics and psychology. He knows how to inspire players and what should they do to win...(my subjective opinion...and not more than that..I am saying that cause, otherwise old tomatoes are possibly going to fly to my face again). Maldini gave his life to Milan and deserves to get this position, but he is not going to take it. He wants to live and do smth like a small business..he is tired!!!
