Yea I would want this to be multiple choice, right now my top 3 are:
MVB, Riijkard, and Hiidink, whose not even up there
3 Dutchmen :)

Maldini would be a good coach, however I don't think he should take the job right after he retires, if indeed he does retire this season. In several years, if whoever is our coach won't be getting the job done, Paolo will get the job.

My pick is Carlo Ancelloti. But if berlusconi decides to replace him, I would go for Lippi, Hiddink, MvB in this order, and the first two aren't even in the list.

I voted Frank Rijkaard. A former player who has definitely proved himself to be a good manager.

for me it is either van basten or donadoni. the reason is van basten does very well with holland by using lots of unknown players, and donadoni also does great with livorno that have no star players! i dont really like rijkaard, i think the quality of barca players make him look good!

i hope van basten gets it, he has guts to make necessary decision not popular decision! he will revolutionise milan!!!

I cant make a vote on something like this, until after the world cup...and I dont think Milan will make a decision until the outcome of the games in June/July.

I think though, that Van Basten is a good choice, as is Donadoni...especially since he has resigned...but...more on this, as Jamaican rapper Vibez Kartel would say:

up to the time!

After much thought and also for mistakenly casting a vote, I have changed my mind regarding whom I would like to be the next Milan Coach. I like many of the names on the ballot, but after considering what the heck they will go through if they are Milan's coach, especially with a lot of immature, vitriolic, and idiotic criticism coming from a good lot of members here... Why the hell in my right mind would I wish this on many players past whom have my deepest and utmost admiration???
Why would I wish for Van Basten, Rijkaard, Donadoni, Baresi, Maldini etc... go through and get such undeserved comments as our current coach Ancelotti has been given??? Think about it people!
I think many think because such and such is a Milan legend, thus he MUST be a great COACH, able to win us anything and everthing... especially ALL THE TIME! Pardon me for saying... but that is all a bunch of bull's excrement.
I have really no anger at all to how our team is doing. My anger is the reaction of some fickle fans and their lack of maturity to handle adverse times. Fickle isnt actually the kindest word I perhaps should not have used, as I think some of you from your posts alone come off as mentally unstable, unable to handle the hard times. I hate to see the way you few handle life.

So that is my vote. I dont want to have any of our Milan legends to be our next coach. Why soil there good name here??? Besides... if the fans here were to choose who would be a manager, we run out of friggin names with the erratic opinions coming week-in week-out.

FORZA MILAN!
