Some Suggestions

Hello so far so good :devs:
I have visited the PLAYERS portion of this forum. Honestly I didn't like it, because ther were no OFFICIAL THREADS on our players. By official thread I mean I thread consulting all aspect of a player. This will help the users for posting about the players in a particular thread & there would be no need for extra threads
Its just a suggestion & If admim do not like it ,,,,, apologies in advance :kap: because I can not afford to be banned & its as simple as that :d33:

Well, it might be an idea, though I dont give a fvck about it... cuz I am Milan fan so I know our players pretty well. I do not need any special info about them, cuz I can find it elsewhere. Nevertheless I do not say that other members reject this idea, and o be honest I would be interested in this initiative if it become real, I mean I am not against if any of memebers create such threads about players. However I wont do it by myself ;)

It's a great idea....and it's also something we've had to remind people about over and over. For some reason people like to "see their name in lights"--that's what I call it, they want to see themselves as thread starters and they ignore the fact there may already be a thread about the player they're posting about. This is a really old issue, one we've dealt with probably since the forums startd up in 99! I can tell you right now that when the silly season starts--that's the summer transfer season--we're always busy merging and deleting threads b/c of this very problem. And then the added issue is that people are then posting really junky rumors.

We can try setting up official threads about players. The problem then is, what do we do about all the ones already there? We have tooption to merge threads but then you'd end up with a HUGELY long thread, and at least speaking for myself, I do not read hugley long threads unless I've been following it from the start. Another option would be to close the older threads and refer people to them for background or whatever. OR, a last option would be to totally delete the old threads, which probably would not be fair.

We're willing to listen to any good ideas....which this is...now just tell us how to keep people from coming here and creating a topic just because they want to see their name as a thread starter!!!
