Juventus plan to swap Jonathan Zebina with Milan’s Massimo Ambrosini, according to reports.

The French defender is set to leave the Stadio Delle Alpi in the summer and the Rossoneri are keen.

Zebina, who has clashed with the Bianconeri after having a pay-rise request rejected, would resolve the San Siro side’s right-back problems given that Marcos Cafu and Jaap Stam are set to quit the outfit.

Whispers in the peninsula claim that Juve are ready to release him to their friendly rivals, but only in return for Ambrosini.

The Italian international is unhappy at his lack of use at Milan recently and may be looking for a change of environment.

Juve are searching for a new central midfielder after also being strongly linked with Simone Barone of Palermo.

Very very interesting this could be a good move for both clubs as it seems every year Ambrosini is injured or not in good form. Im a big fan of Ambrosini but if we can get a pretty good right back out of this than I think it will be alright. This now allows Milan to make a swoop for Diarra who would be a huggeeee addition to the squad. This would now allow him and gattuso to battle it out for the defensive midfield position.

Well, Juve seem to be very generous in their offer/dreaming :rollani: . They want this and that but what does Milan want?
Along those same lines, too bad Milan let Brocchi go to La Viola for we could have used him in a swap with Barca for Ronaldinho.

Please list a source, it is obvious that you did not make this up but I want to know where you got this from.
If this is true, and at this point I think its just rumors, I hope that the deal will not go through. Ambro is a very capably backup to anyone in our midfield, we need to keep him around for a while. He hasn't been in form recently but I think that once he is 100% again, he will make a great contribution to Milan. I haven't seen much of Zebina, but I doubt he is as good as Ambro is.

I hope this transfer to not happend since it it will be Milan worest

and will play wonderful like always he did

Ambrosini is a champion in every sense of the word. He can do hard tackles, plays with the same enthusiasm as gattuso and lead the team in Maldini's absence with great effect. A person with great humility and loyalty, I dont see how a dropout and a money-minded player from Juve can be exchanged for Ambro.

Like wat Dil had said, it will b Milan's worst transfer.

if this goes through....well....something is wrong in Milan. simple as that. No way Zebina who is 27/28 ,and crap player who hasnt played a single good game for last year and a half, is worth Ambrosini. No way!

No thanks Max is a awesome player just a little injury prone. while Zebina is Crap and not good enough for Milan. Don't know who we are going to get as RB next season but god i hope it's not Zebina

Trade Ambro for that HACK...never. Zebina is a defender that could only fit Juve's 'dirty tactics' style defense....Our priority is to regenerate our defense not patch it up with hacks and has-been's. Futhermore, Ambrosini is a talented midfielder who should not be on the sale block.

zebina a milan player i don't think so. another case of a player having a couple of good seasons and then thinking he's god. ambro deserves more games without a doubt. hopefully common sense will prevail and these stories will disappear :dumpf:

we probably should throw in Abbiati too, otherwise it won't be a fair trade.
Abbiati + Ambrosini = Zebina

yeah, that's more like it.

A terrible swap. Ambrosini is a great player, he'd start a lot more if not for injury.

channel4.com is brilliant at reporting on match happenings, coach comments, directors commments but it's transfer rumours have begun to verge on tribal soccer standard.

from that site we have been linked with ronaldinho, ronaldo, sneijder, emre, cris, reveillerie, gallas,, torres, sobis, luis fabiano, marquez (before he went to barca aswell), van nistelrooy... the list is endless.

that said, the zebina thing is always being mentioned so I think it's pretty certain we're after him.
