its a 27th giornata milan have to play palermo, sure its important game like every game we have to be in race with juve for scudetto even this seems as "mission impossible" but we never know what will happen in footbal, or to keep the second place for CL.
I do not expect the same milan as for copaitalia its gonna be a difficult game but I hope for victory ...
what about you fans ????
FORZA MILANNNNNNNNNNNN

we will catch juve :)
we will catch juve :)
Good to be optimistic, the season is not yet lost...
If Juve continues to be in poor form and we continue winning in the Serie A we can catch them.

Well tonights game will be a very tricky fixture, especially without Dida.
But I still think we'll win this match quite easily. Although we didn't play the most convincing game against Bayern, we did enough to put us in the box seat going into the San Siro fixture.
I'm predicting a scoreline of 3-1 with a Sheva double and either Kaka' or Gila to score the other. Also expecting a big game from Andrea Pirlo, has been down in form in recent weeks, have been waiting for another free-kick special from him.
FORZA MILAN!!
:5schal:
I am sure Milan will win this match even w/o Dida, Maldini and Kaladze.
The previous game against Palermo during Coppa Italia is a totally different game with this one.
Sheva will partner Pippo and both of them will score one goal each plus Kaka add another one to make it 3-0 for Milan as a revenge!!
Juve will draw against Lecce while Inter...who cares??????
can someone post a link to watch the game?????if possible. or the pplive channel. I have problems with that though. whenever I select a channel it never openes up. I've waited for up to 20 minutes and on the bottom right it will say the channel name but the player never starts. A bit off topic but I would appreciate if someone can help. thanx.

Sheva scores from penalty!!!
Inzaghi's goal, a clinical header that overcomes Anduhar, born from a long pass from Vogel. Sorry, but with my poor english I cannot give a more accurate description. :(

Great win for us! The team is on form at the moment, no doubt about that!
I didn't see the game, but it is a great result. Palermo is not the easiest team to beat at home. Juve and Inter both won, but at least we keep pace with Juve and are still 2 up on Inter.
We are getting much more penaly calls lately, which makes up for the fact that we barely had any in the 1st half of the season. Sheva is ice cool at the spot. And Pippo has regained form.
FORZA MILAN!

It was a difficult game as we had expected but we won and that's the only important thing at the moment. I was positively surprised by Kalac, he did some good saves today and I can only remember one bigger mistake from which Palermo could have easily scored.
We kept a clean sheet with a Stam-Nesta-Costacurta-Serginho defence (and at the end of the match Vogel in the place of Stam) and that is amazing.
Well done!
:3band:
Great result for us today. Palermo is great side playing at home, but we managed to win it.
carlo started to change things AFTER we went 1-0 up, when gattuso got injured. Seedorf got some rest which is good becouse we need him in good shape for Bayern match. Pippo showed he is coming back! he has good ball control, moves well, scored great goal and deserved a big applause today. Gilardino should be worryed right now becouse Inzaghi is showing more that him.
PIRLO? is out of form and we need to do something about him.he did have few great balls and switching sides ,but played some horrible defence again and almost picked up second yellow.Im worried about him.His crosses from free kicks were not good again!
Vogel playeg great, really intelligent and responsible, so did stam, nesta and costacurta. Good game by us, still we need to improve on free kicks(attacking),corners and moving without the ball in the middle. i hope I'll see pippo-sheva gainst Bayern.
and yes....not to forget....Stam did get a red card, but knowing he is simply a world class CB,he is doing great job as our RB this season.Good job by him in the last few games.

although we won today, we had a poor performance...How many chances have we wasted?! Sheva have been horribly lazy...even his penalti was so simple...that actually if goalkeeper would try to catch it, he d get it....Inzaghi and Kalac played good, all the rest of the team shown not the best performance so far

Nothing really to be positive about....We won against Palermo - its good, but with such play...8th of March with Bayern we might loose....

There's one thing that Milan gains recently is the confidence in defense, with fewer goals conceded and Kalac's safe save. The defenders did good job and seemed to have recovered from the nightmare in Istanbul except Dida :v408: .
Forza Milan!
Forza Rino!
Egoistka - I was wondering why are you posting here at Milanmania?? We all have our opinion about Milan and the players, but I have never heard one postive word from you. Today we won a tough away match, but that is not good enough for you?

Don't you think that there is a slight possibility that we won't play against Bayern the way we played today?
I am content with the team's performance today because this was a very tricky away game for us and after Dida's injury and the absence of Kaladze I was afraid that we might loose again, as we did in Coppa Italia. But the 3 points are in the pocket.
Let's be positive and look ahead with a smile guys! :5schal:

Well, I have already told Grenoli about the fact that it's a mistake to compare today's game with tomorrow's game.
Just to give you an example (HEY, I have an example, DO YOU?):
After we lost 3-1 at PSV, everyone started saying Milan would suffer against a fast, counter-attack Liverpool side. But, judging from 1st half (and most of 2nd half display), I can't see any direct correlation between Milan's display in PSV and its display in the final. At least, we scored 3 goals in the first half, something we didn't do against PSV.
I dont' knwo what's the point of arguing here, tbh, you keep saying one thing without giving a reason. It's just plain useless.
AND, you don't need a perfect squad to win every game. IT's just unrealistic. My advice to you: Go back to your Winning Eleven 9 or FM 05.

although we won today, we had a poor performance...
You're right... that is to say, we are certainly having solid performances, make no mistake, but also very uninspired ones, with almost nothing in terms of entertaining value. Ok, someone can say, football is a cold world of professional competition and lots of money, but we, the mere and simple fans, we didn't like football as a business, we like it as entertainment, as a kind of performing art. Milan used to be a very entertaining side, and sadly we're day by day missing that crucial dimension.

to blame the team for this win against palermo away is pure NONSENSE
inter lost here, juve struggled to get a win
i tell you, cassandras wannabees, that critics are welcome here, but with a good reason for that. if any of you think to criticise without a point, expect a reaction.
when we were losing the away games for example with Fiorentina, Sampdoria etc. everyone was saying: why we can't just win these games like juve does without showing any good performance, now when we are doing this you're not satisfied again.
and why everybody thinks that if we played bad against Palermo or Lecce we'll get crushed against Bayern 5:0 it doesn't matter understand that every game it's a story for itself, you saw what happened with Real they were in great form(10 matches without a defeat) before the Arsenal match and they lost the game, so you see it really doesn't matter if you're in form or not in CL everybody gives his best

Nothing to be positive about.....:rollani:....I could have done without quoting your first post, but the second was the clincher.
Nothing? Do you know what would have happened to us had we lost? 3rd place, behind INTER in case you forgot.
Nothin? 3 points, two goals, for a total of 60 points, and 60 goals. Surely, thats the pits! Sure demotion to Serie C with those figures.:rollani:
Nothi? We managed to snatch a victory where most other clubs have lost...
Noth? We got revenge for a 3-0 thrashing in the Coppa...
Not? We still managed 3 points despite losing Stam, Sheva´s penalty lazy? He had sent the keeper the wrong way already + he scored...
No? We played with Billy "Grand-dad" Costacurta and didnt concede a goal
N? We played with a back up keeper, and didnt concede a goal
As my dear mother used to say: If you have nothing good to say, say nothing. :diablo:
Egoitska, one positive thing for you in this game: Gila didn't play!

We All Know That Next2 Or 3 Weeks Will Decide Were We Are At. First We Need To Win Over Empoli And Juve Is Going To Lose To Samp, We Cut 3 Points There, Then Bayern Game Comes Up ( I Don't Know About This One) Then Is The Big One With Juve. If We Win Here That Would Be Great.

... Sheva have been horribly lazy...even his penalti was so simple...that actually if goalkeeper would try to catch it, he d get it....
1. If the goalie was trying to catch ... hmm I think he was.
2. Penalty kicks can be simple, one can simple roll the ball directly in the middle and if the goalie jumped and fell at the post, it would be counted as a goal. The beauty of "simple" shots is not that obvious, the p.-kick-taker often strikes after he learns in which direction the goalie went to. It is not that simple. The skilled player with "simple" shots can get higher percentage of the goals score than the power shooter.
3. As Dr. Bohr often said "I do not mean to critisize, but ..."
"Loose", as an english word, has a different meaning from "lose".
"Choose" on the other hand has a past tense of "chose" and it is misleading sometimes. Please take a note, no critisism, just a little correction, i hope i do not offend in anyway.

This a great point, Sheva just decides where he's going to place penalty right after the goalie makes a move to a certain side. This is a great talent to have, he doesn't have to power the ball in, and we are guaranteed a penalty goal from him almost every single time (just forget about Istanbul)
Gila kicked it like that the previous game too... you need talent to do do that...
if someone could find the penalty kick that Helder Postiga (Portugal) scored against James (England) in the Euro2004... that was a masterpiece...

Yeah, he chiped it right in the middle.

Very good win, I actually suspected we would lose points in this tie as Palermo is very solid and have shown good form recently. I would personally see us use a bit of more personnel, but it is hard to argue with good results.
I was glad that we beat Palermo 2-0 and take our revenge on them. I also was glad that Inzaghi score
awonderful goal. our defence play much better than before . Tobad Gatusso get injuerd and Stam
get a red card.
