Rennes goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson has emerged as a target for city rivals AC Milan and Inter.
The Sweden No1 was formerly on the books of Juventus and is now inside the final 18 months of his contract at Rennes.
Both Milan and Inter are following Isaksson's progress this season as they struggle with their current goalkeepers and have been informed by French intermediaries that Rennes are ready to sell in the summer for £2 million.
