pirlo replacements

[Kaka1899]

what about makalele to play defensive midfield and have pirlo in centre of midfield instead of seedorf on the wing or buy someone else that can play on thw wing and lave pirlo where he is

[zlatanov]

I think Pirlo would struggle in Seedorf's position - not fast enough, not physically strong enough and that position involves more running than Pirlo could cope with IMO.
As for getting Makalele, is he even available? Plus, he is like 31-32 yo, what's the point of getting a player who has already made his retirement plans? A similar type of player is Diarra/Mascherano and they would be much smarter investments IMO.

I think that Milan will not sign Diarra or Mascherano, they will sign Poulsen. And Pirlo will play another rolle.

[mrki]

if that s.hit Poučlsen plays our main DM I'll go crazy. But most likely Pirlo will stay in that position, with Diarra ( hopefully) plays in Gerrano's. there isn a really big possibility Gattuso will actually leave Milan this summer.

[SANT]

why are we even thinking about replacing Pirlo????

his sub. is Vogel, captain of Switzerland, formerly with PSV Eindhoven...

[Josh-Sheva]

Why did anyone start this thread?!

[GavinMilan]

Is Pirlo leaving?

[Graeme C]

the thread should be renamed "cover for pirlo" or something....

Theres been so many players linked to us the last couple of days, like yesterday "vogels + 10 mil for Van Nistelrooy"......
