The coach and the player, 4 years after...
Exactly 4 years ago,
Sheva cut his ACMilan's America's tourne short to leave for the funeral of The coach.

"Whether I will continue coaching or not -- all this (Ed. - legacy) will stay here. Maybe, somebody will use it. These are very complicated things, not everyone can understand them...
I don't even consider sport achievements: so many times the team had won the double, won Championships and Cups, won European Cup of Cups and SuperCup, the team was recognized everywhere. I discard this.
But I will leave a certain approach in football, which could be used by someone... Who else did leave anything behind? At home? In the world? Is there a coach in the world, who departed from football leaving to successors a certain trend, methods, a completely distinguished approach to the game?!"

Valeri Lobanovsky, May 27 1991

I demand this guy be banned! He contributes nothing to the forums, just his mindless Fenerbahce bullsh*t and now he's talking sh*t (I think) or laughing at the death of one of Ukraine's heroes!

I still remember him, even though I was so young, sitting on the bench when he was Ukraine's coach, just rocking back and forth. :proud:

R.I.P. Valeri. You will never be forgotten!

Very nice picture. I always will remember Loban rocking back and forth, he is a legend.
Blokhin, Belanov, Shevchenko all came out this coach's school and have become European footballers of the years 1975, 86 and 04 respectively.
I cannot think of any other greatest legend in Ukraine and possibly in Europe.

Valeriy was a good player too who had scored several goal from the left corner with his trade-mark curled left-footed shot!

His message was taken care of. Let's leave this one alone.

Only reason I ever knew Lobonovski was because of Sheva. Sheva could have become a hero like his idol, but he has shown him self to be utterly foolish. When he is past it Chelsea will dump him off to a team like Wigan. With Milan we would have kept him on as we have Billy or prepared him to be the new labonovski if he wanted.
