It certainly feels a bit heart-breaking by starting a thread that deals with the departure of Shevchenko. He was a true champ and there are very few who can reach his class. He meant a lot to Milan and its fans including us, but anyways no one is bigger then the club and nor was Shevchenko. If Chelsea is what he wants then be it. All said now there is no point in crying over the split milk and now we have to look forward and find a replacement.
If you look at our current strike force Gila and Pippo are two high quality strikers with Amoruso nothing else then a formality of completing the 4 strikers. Now with sheva gone we are left with two quality strikers and no bench strength. So actually I mean we need a player who can be used as a back up to Pippo rather then a starter with Gila. Gila should be an obvious starter, along with him instead of purchasing a big name player (Crespo, Tervez, Ibrahimovic etc) for a heftier sum we should look to invest on a player who is cheaper and accepts the sub bench and let Pippo utilize his current good form. I think some one like Nihat will do it he is a player who will cost less and if called upon to play he has the ability to do what any world class striker can do.

Another thing is relating to Dida. It is more then likely that he will not be at our side for next season. If juves are relegated to Serie B then grab Buffon with closed eyes. Instead of investing the money on a high-profile forward buy him and see who can break through the great wall of Nesta and Buffon. Now if Juves some how survive in Serie A then I think one good option is Timo Hildebrand of Stuttgart and Germany. He is sure to over take the aged Kahn and Lehmann after the World Cup. So he is one for the future and is no doubt a very safe keeper.

Finally there is one more suggestion and that is about Marek Jankulovski. He should be in the playing 11 as a LB if Maldini departs or as a LM ahead of Seedorf. Seedorf is clearly out of touch and Marek has the talent to do a lot. I see no point in keeping such a talent as a substitute and playing the out of form Seedorf.

In the end I would say that do not get angered if some thing sounds a little stupid for after all they are nothing more then suggestions.

inzaghi is old...i cant count on him to score all season long.
he can play big matches in cl or serie a and score.

we need to bring a great striker...suazo is an idea...cassano is my choice as second striker

Nihat already signed for another club... I'm not sure, but I think it was Villareal...

As for Buffon, of course he's welcome !! But, why is it you consider Dida as leaving for sure? Has he made a statement ? (I'm just informing... For I haven't heard nor read anything like that...)

And as for Seedorf, I don't know Jankulovski quite good enough, but Seedorf ain't no bad player I think...

Dida hasnt extented his contract, it ends at the end of next season... If he doesnt extend he could leave the club for free... Milan could get Buffon and sell Dida.....

wow totti_jonaid :v46: I cannot believe you actually said Seedorf is "out of touch" and playing "the out of form Seedorf". Seedorf, alongside Maldini and the departing Sheva has been a leader on the field. He has done a lot for us in the past years that made Milan a competitive team in Europe and Italy, making it possible for us to win ever possible honor. So, saying things of that sort not only makes you sound ignorant but also unloyal to Milan.

By saying that Seedorf is out of form I do not mean that he has done nothing for us. He has been a great asset to Milan over the years but currently I mean this season he has not been the Seedorf we all know that is why I prefer Janko ahead of him. As for you saying that I sound unloyal to Milan. I tell you Milan is my life I breath Milan and live to support Milan.
