View Full Version : "I assure you" Ramon calderon - Kaka related rumours
"I assure you, he (Kaka) is going to come to Real Madrid," said Calderon after accepting victory in yesterday's election.
Well after signing his contract extention I do feel a bit worried that he might added a clause that he is free to leave if Molan go down to B or disqualified from Europe. If this transfer ever happen KAKA to me will be no more than a true meaning of KAKA

Fabio Capello and Kaka are on their way to Real Madrid after Ramon Calderon declared himself as the new President of the Spanish giants.
Calderon had promised to deliver Juventus boss Capello and Milan starlet Kaka before Sundays election and he maintains hell deliver.
Our Coach will be Capello, said the 55-year-old. And despite the resistance of Milan, Kaka will be playing at Real next season along with Cesc Fabregas [Arsenal] and Arjen Robben [Chelsea].
Calderon is also ready to hand former Roma director general Franco Baldini, who recently rejected a move to Juventus, a job as a club official.
However, Calderons appointment as new Real chief has yet to be confirmed as there is controversy regarding the postal votes.
"This candidate has won the elections," Calderon said on Sunday. "The board is delaying the announcement because a member is trying to persuade candidates to challenge the result."
Calderon pipped Juan Palacios by just 246 votes, but votes sent through the post were not included after a judge suspended them on Friday amidst fears over their legitimacy.
It is unclear at this stage whether they would now be taken into consideration.
Juventus do have a number of options already should Capello leave the Stadio Delle Alpi in the shape of Didier Deschamps, Alberto Zaccheroni and Roberto Donadoni.
Milan have insisted that Kaka, who only last month signed a new contract until June 2011, would not be sold.
The Rossoneri have also allegedly reported the new Real chief to FIFA over his conduct in trying to tempt the Brazilian away from the San Sir
CALDERON PROMISES
Calderon pledged to appoint former player Predrag Mijatovic as sporting director and Fabio Capello in his former role of coach in his election campaign.
He also promised to buy Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas and Chelsea's Arjen Robben, as well as Milan's Kaka. The other candidates publicly doubted his ability to achieve this.
Asked if he would resign if he did not deliver on his promises, Calderon replied: "No, I will not resign and Kaka will be coming to Real Madrid."
The climax to a bitter election campaign is indicative of the chaos into which Real have descended in recent months and the arguments over the postal vote could end up paralysing a club which is still without a coach for next season.
Kaka does have contract clause that he can go if Milanm goes to serie B. But Milan will not go to B and Galliani knowes it. Im 99% sure Milan will not let Kaka go even he wants to. " If a player is unhappy, he will still stay in Milan..."-Galliani after Sheva left.
:) he doesn't have my respect!
Sorry Ario, had to change this due to swearing.

Oh man, not this again. I hope Milan just report the fool (again) and get rid of such idiotic rumours.
If I was Milan management, right now I'd be doing all I can to get this guy in trouble, as he is fueling rumours and illegally approaching our players, which clearly is something we should be taking great care about atm.
oh..ok, sorry then mod.....just pissed with this Calderon guy

These rumours always surface in a Real election. Nothing new.
Real Madrid's former director Ramon Calderon has claimed victory in the club's presidential election, but the result is clouded by uncertainty.
Calderon has said that he will appoint former player Predrag Mijatovic, the Serbia & Montenegro striker who scored the winner in the 1998 Champions League final, as sporting director.
And he has spoken of bringing Juventus boss Fabio Capello back as coach.
Calderon has also pledged to bring Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas and Chelsea winger Arjen Robben to the club and has said he is trying to close a deal to sign AC Milan's Brazil midfielder Kaka.
The new president will be expected to turn round Real's fortunes after their worst run of form in 52 years.

I am really sick of this! :angf:
How could a "professional" team allow a 95 kg player (Ronaldo) when he was supposed to be one of the most agile player in the roster? Robinho picked up his first muscle injure in the WC and everybody here in Brazil blame Real lack of physical preparation for that!
Real is a circus and I really sick of all this!

we already have the same thread please dont make us sick with those stupid rumuors ok
We like this thread more than that one...it's a discussion ;)
Mods, merge that one into this one :)
What?? I think that what he is saying now is something like: "Milan are going to get relegated and we'll get Kaka for free and if they don't get relegated we'll still get him for some huge money." No matter what Galiana says I think that this isn't all to impossible (not saying we'll get relegated). Still, Kaka says he likes it in Milan but somehow I don't trust him that he's true in what he says. I'll just have to watch and see. As far as I'm concerned if Calderon comes in with a sack of about, lets say 115 mil and one Antonio Cassano we should take it. Not for anything less though.
Oh, for goodness sake! Do we really have to endure yet another Kaka to Real Madrid thread just because Madrid has elected a clown to be its president?
PEOPLE!!!!!!
‘I am happy to remain with Milan and that’s why I decided to extend my contract until 2011. As I’ve said before, I like to live in Milan so that weighed in as well.’
Kaka has committed himself to Milan. He extended his contract through 2011 just 10 days ago. He also said he hoped signing the new deal would quiet the rumors about him going to Madrid. Galliani and Berlusconi have said Kaka is going nowhere. Milan even reported Calderone to FIFA over this crap.
So why do you waste your time worrying about this? It's just an idiot talking big to get himself elected and not worrying about the consequences of his ultimate failure to follow through.

My Italian isn't very good, but it's something like this:
Braida says: "The Kaka situation is very clear. I'm tired of repeating the same things: Kaka is a Milan player and will not be leaving here. We will not accept any type of offer for the player."
Of Dida, he says: "The position of the board has not changed. If Dida does not intend to renew with us, patience. Next season he will remain with Milan and then he can choose his future destination."
I don't like Calderon!!!! Football needs to be regulated like american sports such as Basketball and American football. What he is doing is tampering and real should be fined a large amount, in addition to having their transfer privileges suspended like Roma's were with the whole Mexes affair, for 2 seasons. That should teach that upstart bastard to try and nab players contracted to other clubs. It is a disgrace. I don't know why Berlusconi or Galliani don't go on the offensive.

We just bought Gourcuff and are linked with several players. A club whose future is uncertain does not go buy players.
Compare our activity in the market to the other three clubs involved.
Our position, from what I understand, is the best out of the 4 clubs involved.
All this mess that is happening is a good thing. Hopefully it will break the Milan-Juve cartel on things.
Italian football needed to be shook at its core.

My 3 cents: Calderon is living in dreamland. Though I no longer trust players, and their motives (unless they are Maldini), I will continue to give Kaka the benefit of the doubt.
I am almost 100% sure (no proof, just gut feeling) that Kaka“s improved contract will have a "get out of Milan & Serie B" clause, but as my confidence grows that we wont be relegated, so too does my belief that Kaka wont leave.

What surprises me is how Calderon can come out and say what he's saying so nonchalantly. You guys are right. THere should be consequences, serious consequences, if somebody comes out and tampers with a player under contract at another club. And we are not just "another" club. We are AC Milan. The guy should be afraid of crossing, or at least, we should make him afraid.
Secondly, why are we not seeing Kaka come out and say CLEARLY that he does not want to move to Real Madrid and would like to see out his contract at MIlan. He has said a lot of things to that effect, but there is still room for ambiguity. Saying that he likes living in Milan and would like to play on doesnt completely rule out a move to Madrid.

Every time there is a Presidential Elections at either Barcelona or Real Madrid, we can be sure of the Presidential-Elects promising some Big Names that are coming to the Club if they are elected as Presidents. Its happened time and again that it seems like a Presidential Election Tradition.
The very fact that these hugely disrespectful declarations are made Public makes a mockery of the UEFA transfer system Rules & Regulations of Player Purchase :d55: . Why doesn't Presidents,Directors & Club owners take these Arrogant and Boastful Braggarts to task with Fifa will forever remain a mystery to my simpleton mind. :dontkn:
Now for my 3cents on the transfer rumour itself, the candidates do Deliver on what they promise after being elected most of the time even from their own most hated rivals with the exception of Joan Laporta missing out on Beckham the most recent failure. e.g; Luis Figo(Barcelona)Ronaldo(Inter)Zidane(Juve). Most of the time they resort to very underhanded means to get their man but they just don't give a damn as long as they get their targeted player.
If KaKa do change his mind and wants to leave, I'd say Adios Amigo because we are a Big Club and we should act like one. We don't need players who are not dedicated to our Cause (think Maldini..).
If we have to let go, we let him go at a Hugely insane cost to Real Madrid as a warning to the rest of the world. Something like 50m Pounds + Sergio Ramos + Cicinho. I rather not have Cassano due to his temperament despite his un-denying talent. This would be like saying, "If you want our players, Its gonna cost you a bomb! Check your pockets and make sure its deep enough before you make an offer."
In the modern world of Football, EVERY player has a price tag as much as the Owning Club denies. Even prized worldclass players that is the envy of every Elite Football Club in the World.
We could use the money that we would get(e.g lets say its 80m Pounds) from these 2 deals(Sheva+KaKa) to get ourselves ready made replacements. We could spend like 18m Pounds on Juan Roman Riquelme or Pablo Aimar. The rest could be spread out on young talents that would be the basement of the future(10-15m pds Nilmar?15-20m pds Joaquin?20-22m pds Torres?)and with experienced players(5-8m pds Oddo? 5-8m pds Zauri?)
The money to be made could help us bring in fresh blood. The dawn of the new era. Era of the Rossoneri (after Juve go down that is :ende: :5roma: )

I see nothing ambiguous about that.
Yes, what you say is true. But dont forget that Calderon has come out numerous times and said that Kaka wishes to play for Real Madrid, therefore he will negotiate with Milan to sign him. It is well and good that Kaka has come out and said publicly that he has signed a new contract, is happy, and has no intention of leaving. But he has not come out and refuted Calderon's claims that he want to move to Madrid, has he? He can make the above statement and still turn around one day and say that he has always dreamt of being a Madrid player. What I would like him to come out and say would be something along these lines, "I do not wish to join Real Madrid. I am happy at Milan. I will not be moving clubs. I have no deal with Calderon." You see what I mean? There is still room for ambiguity in the statements he has made. Oh well, I guess you cant really expect a football player to be direct and straightforward these days :)
Last year I was laughing at Abramovichs attempts to buy Sheva, but this year I was almost crying when he bought him.

i'm just wondering which forward Milan is going to buy for our next season. That will be the best surprise (i.e., disappointment LOL?) for the transfer season.
we don't need to sign big names, just put Gilardino as the lone striker.. When I watch the Italy-Germany semifinal game, he played really2 well.. He open spaces, provide the wall pass for the others, runs a lot AND make a superb ASSIST to Del Piero.. I know there's Iaquinta too on the pitch, but he's play as a winger actually.. Back then in Parma, when they lose Adriano, Gilardino was the lone striker and netted 46 goals in just 2 seasons.. We could do just the same as Parma did.. But, we do need the backup striker, Inzaghi and Amoroso are way too old. If Gilardino got injured (which is rarely happen), I don't think they will good enough to play the single striker role.. A few name for the backup striker:
-Vucinic
-Suazo
-Prso
-Ronaldo (just kidding)

Real (Mijatovic to be precise) approached Kaka's father (who I believe is Kaka's agent or something along those lines) and was told to deal directly with Milan, where they will attempt negotiations.
The claim in Spain has been that Kaka wishes to join the Brazilian contingent in Real and thats what will allow him to move there. The source for all this news is one of Kaka's agents, Diogo Kotscho.
One thing I'm glad is that Kaka's father has told anyone who wishes to approach for Kaka to deal with Milan.

Roughly translated from a Belgian article :
*Capello wants Luca Toni at Real Madrid.
Capello is going to sign a 3-year contract with Real Madrid today and tomorrow he will be officially presented as the new trainer of Real Madrid.Capello and Mijatovic can start bringing players to Real Madrid.Ricardo Kaka and Cesc Fabregas are on top of the list.
But they would also want Diarra, Zambrotta, Emerson, Joaquin, C.Ronaldo, Robben and Luca Toni.
Real will also purchase a CB , but it's not known who that will be.

I could imagine seeing Zebina, Panucci and Emerson in Real for sure :tong:
Dev, even though Panucci was among Capello's men, in Milan and during their days in Madrid, I think they had problems during the last year of Capello in Roma... and having Salgado and Cicinho, I don't think he will be in the list... not even Zebina... they could use a left footed version of Cicinho to replace R. Carlos...
Zambrotta for sure... even though he has a different style...
It looks like Milan is waiting and working on calciopoli case. After we get rid of that stuff, we'll operate on market.

Someone here suggested Prso... damn.......
Just to report what I have heard from another site...
there has been rumors from DM (another Milan fan site) that Kaka's agent discloses that even if we stay in A, he still wishes to leave. It was also suggested that Berlusconi was not happy and demanded at least 60 millions pounds (the amount would be lower if we get relegated, but still would be higher than Shevchenko's fee) I become a bit nervous: this DM poster is no Galliani and he has been wrong for quite a few times but obviously this person does seem to have more inside news, no doubt about that.
Care to comment? or let's just wait and see? I personally think that there is a tad truth in it, and I really don't know how Kaka' thinks. It would be ironic as he just renewed the contract and pledged himself loyalty on his personal blog. I can only speak from Milan's side. In case the worst scenario occurs, Milan should definitely play tough. Young men sometimes need some lessons, and they don't know what they think and don't know what are the best for them. Many players make things ugly to get out, but for those who fail, they still perform and be loved, like Gerrard's story with Chelsea. The key is to be honest, in my opinion.
Don't shoot the messenger. ;) There have been too many bullets flying here. :musk: :swars: :rocky: :nunu: Let's try to be nice to each other. :coffee:

I would rather wait and see waht happens once the final verdict on calciopolli is announced. Right now there are so many contrasting and unreliable sides of this story that it's pointless to take a side.
Anyway, I am all for enforcing the contract no matter what kaka wants or doesn't want. There are times when lessons should be taught even if it means benching him for the next 5 years of his career and then letting him go for free.
If we do go to B, I don;t think it is a question of whether oe is Italian or not, it's a question of having a red-and-black heart or not. Of course, if he wants to leave cause he feels cheated, I wouldn't blame him. But if the sole reason for him to wanna leave is cause he doesn't want to play in Serie B, then, yeah I would know that Milan isn't missing in on a Baresi or a Maldini, and I would blame him but won't be sorry to see him leave, not at all.
exactly, it is becoming very annoying to say the least. to think that I don't even understand Italian. maybe the best strategy is to separate myself from all these, but I doubt I can do it.
I don't think Milan will go down, if we go down, Juventus probably deserves a shut-down. If Italy wins the WC (hope so), then even Juventus may have a chance of staying. we never know.
In such a highly commercialized soccer world, it would be hard to demand many players to have a red-and-black heart. Nowadays their decisions are more oriented with money, fame, wife and language. :D Not that it is important, the reason I even brought up the thought of "being an Italian" is that these big teams that go down will come back very soon, and "lazy" Italians probably don't mind waiting just for one year, and foreigners may just leave for good. One another serious note, Kaka's concern regarding his place in Brazilian NT may prevent him from playing in B. but anyway, I hope that he stays, and I don't have hard feelings on him yet (it would be hard to blame anyone after what Shevchenko did to us.). Let's just hope for the best.
It is good (and right in time too) that Galliani announced the change in Milan's transfer philosophy after Shevchenko left. At least we don't have a stupid "reputation" to maintain and we can play tough if we have to. :)
Think about this:
If you are the Sport editor in chief of a well-known newspaper, will you make up something like this? How can you do it?
Just make up, and type. I don't know why people will trust these newspapers more than anything released from the official website. Bizarre.

Kaką: Rest but with the Milan in serie A, otherwise
The trial of strength between the Real Madrid of the neo Calderņn president, and the Milan for Kaką will begin next week. This at least is how much reaches from Spain, where Diogo Kotscho, one of the agents who cure the image of the Brazilian, interpellanto from the daily paper As, confirmation a talk between ds blanco the Mijatovic and the father of Kaką, Bosco Leite. The same one would have sent back the leadership of the merengues to dealing directly with the Milan. But in Spain they are sure, Kaką wants to go to the Real and this could be determining in the negotiation. While the same Kaką has made to know: If the Milan will remain in series does not move of sure, otherwise we will see but it is still soon in order to speak of.
This is according a spanish press "AS" they are just rubbish
Let's Hope We Stand Still in Serie A !

basically it says calderon admits getting kaka is going to be tough since milan are not ready to sell and it all depends on what happens with the calciopoli scandal
See what I mean? This already makes me pissed off at Kaka as he has not come out and directly refuted these claims. As for him having a red and black heart, I used to think he did, but now have serious doubts, even if he continues to stay with us. He owes his entire football career to AC Milan. We brought him out of oblivion. He was always a prospect in Brazil, but we made him a superstar. We have stuck by him throughout. IN fact, WE have come out and refuted claims of his transfer, WE have come out and publicly said that he is not for sale. Now when another club announces proudly that Kaka wants to play for them, he cannot come out publicly and refute the claims?
I'll be honest, but the way I see it, kaka is keeping his options wide open. By not coming out and saying that he is NOT interested in moving to Madrid, the door will always be open as long as the two clubs can agree. By signing a contract extention with MIlan, he is still "covered" by a long, lucrative contract should the transfer not work out. It is just ridiculous. Gone are the days when players sweat blood for the team.....these days it's all just mercenaries....

Well, I can't blame Kakį for not willing to stay with us if we were relegated...
Nobody can blame him, you're right. But, it's unfortunate. If we were relegated, I'd like to see all of our players give it one year to get back. I could really understand if it were Serie C or if it looked like it could be more than one year. Do you think Maldini would have ever left, even if we were relegated to Serie B? I guess that's down to loyalty, and the difference between those who love Milan and those who don't. Props to Gila who said he'd stay.
That's right; however, broken liars cannot be fixed, so you and Kris are lost, what a pitty.
Where's that from? Your gloomy posts reeking of insecurity and attentionseeking is clear to see, what you said onthe other hand is hardly attached to reality.
We won't sell Kaka, just as Chelsea won't sell Robben and Arsenal Cesc. Real will go for other targets that Capello want, number ONE on that list is Emerson. Likely they will go for Cannavaro too if Juve go down which I find is almost a certainty.

I wish u were right kris about kaka. I agree with rt9 for saying that im already pissed at Kaka for not coming out and denying it, but I guess im being unfair to him. I just want to wait and see what he says about this. This is really worrying me as every day goes by.
And about the other 2, Robben will stay at Chelsea but Cesc has spoken of his ambition to join Real publicly recently, so I dont know if it'll happen but he certainly did not rule it out.
Kaka recently said something stated on Calciomercato as, "I will stay with Milan if they stay in A, otherwise..." Is this true? can anyone update us on this? Maybe he mentioned something on his personal website?

He stated it on his homesite and signed the new contract, what more does he need to do?
Well , seriously i would undertstand Kaka's decision which perhaps would be leaving our team if we find ourselfs in serie B next seaso . It's hard for me know that he hasn't a big love for ac milan , but put your self in his place a player like him who has 24 years and been great while was playing for milan and brazilian national team .. would you waste a year of your career in a leage that you don't deserve to play ?

Dev, even though Panucci was among Capello's men, in Milan and during their days in Madrid, I think they had problems during the last year of Capello in Roma... and having Salgado and Cicinho, I don't think he will be in the list... not even Zebina... they could use a left footed version of Cicinho to replace R. Carlos...
Zambrotta for sure... even though he has a different style...
sorry, I didn't mean it to be serious at all, was just messing about lol.
How more direct and straightforward can he be? He signed a contract extension through 2011. He said that now the rumors about Real Madrid should go away. He said he has no intention of leaving Milan. He said he is happy at Milan. Where is the ambiguity in that?
Milan a rischio B: chi resta e chi va via

I'm sure that same article was posted elsewhere. Anyway, in brief, it says that in light of risking Serie B, it talks about players most likely to leave in the worst case.
Kaka is said to be the first one that will leave, followed most likely by the list of names before Pirlo and Gila are mentioned. Pirlo and Gila are uncertainties and Gattuso is torn completely with a 50/50 chance of leaving.
The older players (Maldini, Billy et al) are most probably going to stay and finish their career at Milan.
Actually, I believe it says that Gila would almost certainly stay and that Gattuso would be very torn between staying and going to the premiership. Forza Gila! I have a feeling that in time, he's going to be a fan favorite.

Speaking for myself, I was speaking hypothetically. I don't think we're going to get relegated. I was just saying that it's nice to hear players say they would stay if we were relegated (which again, I don't think we will be). I think Juve will be the only team relegated.

i found this on acmilan.net I dunno where thay did get this from
AC Milan midfielder Kaka has refused to rule out a move to Real Madrid.
The Brazil international is a target for Real Madrid presidential candidate Ramon Calderon and admits he's discussed a potential move with his national teammates.
"Real Madrid? Yes, I've spoken about it as I have four national teammates who play for them. They have told me about the atmosphere there, that allows them to breathe and express themselves."
Asked about the prospect of Milan being thrown out of Serie A over the Calciopoli scandal, Kaka added: "Galliani says it's won't happen. They want to tear us down from inside."

thanks for translating Ivan and Senahid1 please keep posts in English, thank you.
sheva-gila, I'm pretty sure the information you've posted is actually quite old.
Kaka oppinion looks shaky, we better dont get down to serie B. But, im sure, if we manager to stay in A, Milan will have great squad next year.
yep...with the possible Buffon,Zambrotta,Cannavaro,Ze Roberto and David Suazo addition.... ;)
and also if we stay in serie a i can see a big rival for scudetto because inter are like every season .they will buy 6-7 players and will expect of them to play like they know each other for 100 years.so i guess if we stay in serie a we will dominate italian football once again.
dominate again ??
well i don't think we did that last 2 seasons ?
as for Inter i don't think they are going to win the sccudeto until changing their coach !! they've got talented player and looks to me like they are going to transfer luca toni this season but mancini isn't good at his job at inter at all ! :(

we didn't? well, we were easily the best team in Italy but in case you are referring to not winning the scudetto, don't you think that's a bit of a hollow reason given what's been going on for the past couple of months in Italy?
but technically you are right - it wasn't Milan, it was Moggi who was dominating Italian football.
i didn't sad that we are the reason of what's happeing in italy ..
im im quite sure that we are the best team in Italy i know that and there no man in world who could make me doubt in that !! :)

we didnt win anything in the last 2 seasons.i was talking about scudettos not who plays best football in italy because that is milan for sure, but there aren't scudettos.however if we stay in serie a i would be more than happy if we can repeat this season-88 points and 85( i think)goals scored.milan have scored the most goals in more, more than barca with their all attacking style of play :p017:

I guess we may have different ideas about what constitutes ambiguity. I'll give you some examples:
CLEAR CUT:
Gattuso: 'I'll retire with AC Milan. I will play for Milan even in serie B'
Gilardino: 'I will play in serie B with Milan if need be.'
Inzaghi (when asked about moving to Roma): 'It is flattering, but I love AC MIlan and would like to end my career here. WHy should I leave?
AMBIGUOUS:
Shevchenko: 'I would like to move to England for family reasons. I cant communicate with my son, so I need to learn English.'
Kaka: 'I dont know. We'll have to wait until the end of the trial and then we'll see.'
Kaka's father (who is his agent): 'Real madrid have contacted me. I told them to deal with Milan directly.'
If you were a betting man, based on statements that have been released so far, would you bet on Gattuso or Kaka playing for Milan next season? ANd by the way, signing a new contract has NO bearing to a player's future. Sheva signed a new contract and left us. Cristiano Ronaldo is doing the same to Man utd. As far as I am concerned, I have not heard Kaka come out and DIRECTLY refute claims about him being interested in joining Real Madrid. And as a supporter, I find that disappointing. In other words, Kaka probably has some interest in joining Madrid and may be looking for an excuse to leave. If Milan get relegated, he's got his excuse. If we stay up and Real Madrid somehow agree a fee with Milan, I dont think he will put his hand up and say he doesnt want to move.
I don't think Kakį has any interest in joining Real Madrid per se, I just don't think he's very interested in playing in Serie B (IMO).
Regarding Sheva, he didn't sign any new contract this year. He had an offer on the table from Milan, but chose Chelsea.

well, you have a point, but you know what can be more dissapointing?? ... to say i want to stay here for the rest of my career and then if we are demoted to serieB he has no option but to leave, people would call him a traitor... ala sheva... we all know theres a chance we can be relegated, and by not being italian im not surprised if he decides to leave us, i think what he said is smart, many people were very angry at sheva mainly because he said he wants to become like maldini and billy then chose to leave 2 weeks later, kaka isnt taking things for granted, if were not relegated he would probably go out and say 'i wanna stay with milan for a long long time, i never really wanted madrid, besides didnt i just renew my contract' or something similar...
Its normal that players dont want to play in serie B. Even Juve legends like Thuram, Gigi and Nedved admitted they will leave if Juve goes down. But im sure that if Milan stays in A, Kaka' will stay. In fact, even if he wants to go - we will not sell.
He sad that is not going to leave if we are not going to be relegated .. i hope we will not

Good point mk18. I think you're right. It's just that what irks me about football players nowadays is that they tend to be more like politicians when they make statements in order to leave their "options" open. Im probably more of an idealist---I just want to see a player willing to bleed the red and black and willing to speak his mind. It's just that these days, it seems like every player is a mercenary--everyone's got a price, and if the price or conditions are right, they're as good as gone. Look at Cristiano Ronaldo, I would be pissed off if I were a Man Utd fan. His contract isnt worth the paper it is written on if he doesnt choose to respect it. I just miss the old days when a player's allegience to his club was rock solid, and if he had to move, it was a matter of necessity rather than choice.

I agree with u, I mean, the last time I chk, if I have a contract with someone, I better fulfill it or else I need to pay to buy it out, that is given that the company allows me to do so.
If I am ManU, I will just let C. Ronaldo play on their practice squad, won't even dress him.
He can complain all he wants but I will not sell him unless for like 50 Euro since he needs to fulfill his contract.
The Sheva thing pisses me off b/c I cannot believe Milan just bent over and let Chelsea do whatever they want. I mean come on, I am sure the transfer clause for SHeva must be like 100Euro, if Chelsea wants him, pay up.
im very angry at the sheva thing but its over now and you cannot keep dwelling on it...
as for c.ronaldo well to be honest i kinda feel for him, its a very stupid excuse for english/manure fans to hate him, because he asked the ref to send off rooney, any other player in the world would have done that and besides rooney deserved to be sent off but thats not the discussion here, also, they vandalised his home, why would he want to stay knowing that he isnt liked there at manchester?

I agree. Even Beckham wasn't treated so badly on his coming home reception for getting a red card. If I remember correctly, the ManU fans actually supported him throught his ordeal and were all against Ferguson selling him off to Real Madrid.. If your own fans won't accept you, don't expect anyone else in the country to. He'd better start packing his bags if i were him, mayb Calderon would use him to replace KaKa in the shortlist haha.. He'd come in way cheaper than the insane amount I've been thinking for KaKa (80m Pds)
Calderon now claims that he has an agreement with Fabregas and now he will go to London to begin talks with Arsenal. He also says Kaka' really wants to go to Real and he said that 3 months ago when Calderon wasnt a president but had a meeting with Kaka'. He says he'll now come to Milano to begin talks and is ready to pay up to 50mil for Kaka'. This doesnt sound good, and im dissapointed by Kaka's behaviour if this is all truth. But its better to wait for a couple of days so things get clear over calcio scandal.
I thought that this scandal is going to end today .. but nothing ..
I hope that we aren't going to be relegated cuz kaka' is going to leave us for sureee !! :(:(:(

Calderon has been claiming a lot of things. The BBC ran an article this morning titled "Fabregas rejects Madrid move talk." Calderon says he's spoken with Fabregas. Fabregas says he knows nothing about it. And Kaka has done nothing except sign a new contract extension with Milan (saying he hoped to put the Real Madrid rumors to rest and that he is very happy at Milan). He has made it very clear that as long as Milan is in Serie A he has no intention of moving to Real or anyplace else. So how is his behavior in any way disappointing? Why do so many of you take the rantings of this clown Calderon so seriously when all that is coming from the other parties involved make it appear that he's just full of hot air?

Calderon only recently became Real president, so he could talk to all those players before he become official part of Real Madrid. Anyway, im waiting for the verdict.

yeah, the first stories came out before the game and at the time Fergie denied the story and blamed Reals Presidential nominees (at the time Mir not Calderon) for using Ronaldo's name to ty and gain votes but Ronaldo confirmed the quotes in the Spanish press were his which completely undermined Fergie.

Yes, Calderon only recently became Real's president. But he's been a member of the club's Board of Directors since 2002 and therefore he could not legally speak with those players about a transfer.

Very good point, Rick. It'll be interesting to see the "six or seven" player he promised to the madridistas.
So far: Kakį, no; Cesc, no; Robben, no; Cannavaro, no... Maybe he gets Emerson as a consolation prize.
Hmmm... Sooner than I thought this guy will be in troble 'cos he speaks too much.
Sadly, contracts don't mean anything anymore. I am an upbeat person by nature, but this whole scandal along with the claims made by chimpanzees such as Calderon and the Chelski brass, has soured my mood. The Abramovich's and Calderon's are men with no ethics who are willing to use sensationalist tactics to lure stupid players with promises that are usually never fullfilled. There is no real governing body to regulate this type of behavior, and therefore it will continue. However, in the end, too many players have become cheap whores who really don't understand the meaning of loyalty. If kaka leaves, let him, he now makes 4.8 million euros and had been treated like a prince by milan, but a little adversity comes our way, then he thinks of bolting. Same goes with Cristiano Ronaldo. he acts like a spoiled brat, alienating everyone along the way, then he acts surprised, and hands in a transfer request. Players should understand the following. You act like a punk, you will be treated like a punk!!!!

Here's what I think. Calderon decided to make all these brash promises (and outrageous claims of deals to back them up) in an effort to win support for his candidacy. Once he was elected, he obviously couldn't just forget all these claims. That would expose him for what he is. So he's continuing his charade, figuring that once Real Madrid does sign some big name players people won't really care whether they were the ones he originally promised or not. I had kind of hoped, for Real Madrid's sake, that they would bring in a president who would change the club's course, but sadly it appears that they've elected a man who not only intends to continue the "gallactico" policy that has resulted in their mediocrity, but who also has no respect for protocol or ethics.

I think you are spot on regarding this one.
As for continuing teh "galacticos" senseless/suicidal transfer policy (here is a hint for GNL why Real went down), I don;t think this the case any more, not with a strong-willed and tactics-oriented coach like capello. That policy of the president controlling the transfers was possible with coaches who just preferred to sit on their butts and relinquish all responsibility to someone else - i think that's exactly why Camacho left - and capello isn't of this type.
If this is true then we must lower our expectations for a couple of years, to rebuild the team. And one more thing, I think this Calderon thing has going on far to long I mean what are we a feeder club to the big clubs of Europe, GRRRRR STOP IT NOW SILVIO IT“S EMBARRASSING TO THE MILAN FANS.
Exactly, its obvious Milan is shaky at this tence moments before the final trial days. We need to recuperate and become strong as always, and then go for the best players in here ( Gigi, Zambrotta, Torres and so on...) I have to say im sure that if we dont get relegated, Milan will buy some big names for next season.

I'd dare suggest that after we are cleared to stay in the Serie A for next season & CL, we go in for a smash & grab of Madrid player Sergio Ramos to teach that disrespectful son of a female dog a lesson. We could use a player like him anyway as he's quite versatile as a defender (left, right¢re). This would be the best possible warning to other clubs not to mess with us.
I agree with you SkyEdge, but instead of ramos, who is spanish and looks to be in line for the real captaincy in the not so distant future, i would go for Cicinho and Cassano. I know most people think of Cassano as a reject right now, but he is only 23 and in the Milanello environment, he can finally fullfill his potential without his antics. Calderon is a son of a female dog, and actually that does no justice to the female dog!!! Same goes with Chelski and their devil of an owner. Seems Calciomercato reports the claims of the british paper the Sun, which state that we if we down to B, we will sell Nesta to Chelski for 17 million euros. Silvio is no longer a politician, so no more need to play devil's advocate. Come out, and flex your muscles to both real and chelski. We can't allow this to happen. I hope Ancelotti is right when he says Milan players are loyal to the club. I really hope so!!!

Have you been sleeping or something for over the past month? Currently, we're in no position to be buying until we find out the verdict from moggipoli (verdict is released this evening).
There is a reason why Juve and Milan aren't buying and they shouldn't be buying until after today.
So it looks like we will play in serie a with 10 points less from the start and no cl this year, man i cant belive .can somebody tell what have we done i still dont get what was our fixed-match-the one against siena definetly isnt

usually quite reliable because their source actually comes from Italy.
But what about the two Scudetto titles from 04/05 and 05/06??? What about them? Will they stay with Juve or move to another club??
Buffon and Zambrotta could be possible with the verdict. They may hold on until the July 25th UEFA deadline though, just so they know the full situation.
this whole thing is still up in the air, but at least we know the worst case scenario and it is not that bad.

Well, obviously thats the only obstacle here so I dont see anything special about that.
Okay, I realize this article from channel4 is going to cause some of you to fly off the handle and start worrying about Gattuso, but at least maybe it will shut some of you up about Kaka:
Azzurri star Gennaro Gattuso’s future is in doubt again, after his agent admitted that the Rossoneri midfielder had not yet committed to Milan.
Gattuso had declared last week that he would stay at the San Siro regardless of the Calciopoli verdict stating: “I am certain that I will be at Milan next season and play for them in Serie A.”
However, after Friday’s sentence denied the Diavoli a place in next season’s Champions League, Ringhio appears to be having second thoughts.
“I’m going to sit down with Gennaro now in order to discuss the implications of what has happened,” Gattuso’s agent Andrea D’Amico stated. “Only after an in-depth chat can we decide what will be best for the future.”
There is some good news for the Milan faithful as ex-Parma hit man Alberto Gilardino and Brazilian prodigy Kaka’ have confirmed that they will stay with the club.

Kaka drops Real hint Monday 17 July, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Milan ace Kaka has sensationally opened the door for a summer switch to European giants Real Madrid.
Although the Brazilian signed a new contract with the Rossoneri only last month, he has today suggested that a move to Real wouldnt be outside the realms of reality.
My family and I are happy in Milan and that is why I renewed my contract until 2011, he told the Spanish AS newspaper.
The fact that Real are interested in me and want me is very pleasing. Real are as great a club as Milan, or possibly even greater.
Kakas words are unlikely to be well accepted by the Italian giants who have warned Real off their wizard on numerous occasions in recent weeks.
After losing Andriy Shevchenko to Chelsea, Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani insisted that players in his squad would now have to respect their contracts.
Perhaps with that in mind, Kaka did underline that his present outfit would have the final say in his future.
I dont intend to try and force any kind of decision here, I want the whole world to be aware of that, he added.
I would only sign with Real after they had reached a deal with myself, but more importantly having satisfied Milans requests.
The chances of Kaka leaving the San Siro seem remote at the time being, especially after the club kept their place in Serie A on Friday night.
Milan have also repeatedly stated that Kaka is untouchable even if Chelsea are also believed to be in the hunt for the World Cup player.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are set to sign Manchester United forward Ruud Van Nistelrooy this week. The Dutchman had been linked with both Milan clubs.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WTF??????? Its like he's saying I already agreed terms for Real but Milan won't let me go!! How sad, another player who said he wanted to end his career in Milan is having second thoughts and wants to leave... Oh Kaka u are nothing but a Kaka.

Oh, for frick's sake, it just never ends. How the hell does it sound like he's already reached terms with Real Madrid when he says "I would only sign with Madrid after they had reached a deal with myself?" Why would he say that if he had already reached a deal? In fact, how could they have reached a deal considering that it would be illegal as hell and his father already told them they wouldn't deal with them directly?
Kaka isn't going anywhere people. It's just that the silly media keeps asking him questions about it and he's being polite. Hell, I just read in the English media a few moments ago that Chelsea is prepared to offer 70 million pounds, or double anything Real Madrid offers for him!!!! This is silly season people. Stop worrying!
Here, you want to see how silly and stupid all this nonsense is? :grinser:
Chelsea set for astonishing £70m swoop?
2006-07-17 12:01
Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer an astonishing £70million to land AC Milan midfielder Kaka.
DiarioSport claim that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is determined to land the Brazilian star, and will double any Real Madrid bid to sign the mercurial South American.
Milan were punished for their involvement in the recent Italian match-fixing scandal, and were subsequently deducted 15 points and thrown out of the Champions League for next season - which could have an impact regarding their star players at the San Siro.
The 24-year-old was recently quoted as saying he will stay with Milan if they avoided relegation, which could cast doubts about a possible exit from the San Siro.
Real Madrid are understood to have made the playmaker their number one target for the summer, although Chelsea would be able to match the Spanish giants, if they were to pursue the player.

As if not enough, rumor-burdened Milan is now ready to splash 100M on the Chinese star, Sun, in exchange with Sun JiHai from Manchester City.
It says that the club has made contact with Kaka and he has said that he has not talked to any journalist regarding his future.

That "same thing" refers to this:
Sources at Real insist they've been on the phone to Kaka's Dad, Bosco Leite, and if Milan refuse to do business the player will kick up a fuss similar to how Ronaldo (Inter Milan) and Robinho (Santos) managed to get moves away from their former clubs.
But then again, in the official AC Milan site, Kaka has claimed that he has made no statement to any journalist regarding his future!

The first thing a fan must accept is that when Super clubs like Milan don't want to spend money they run a big risk of losing their players. The reason we get them in the first place was because they saw a bright future/money and winning the greatest cup of them all CL not the UEFA cup, so can you blame them if some of them move :undecide:

In Italy five years is the max, mk18. Real have a defender, Sergio Ramos, hired from Seville last season, under a seven years contract.

People you're too anxious!!!! Wait at least the end of Calciopolli scandal, four more days, to ask hirings. What will happen to our credibility if the club start to hire like crazy and go to Serie B? What to tell to the players?
"Sory, but you now can leave if you want 'cos we were relegated?"
We need to be sure about our fate next season before start to hire. And now it's just impossible!
but the verdict is over for us, were in A, with a -15 point defecit (which is nothing serious IMO, we can win the serieA especially with the CL out of the picture) and were in the UEFA cup, the scandal started for other clubs like messina, reggina, siena and i forgot who ... I actually dont blame kaka anymore, looking at our transfer objectives who would want to stay with a team like this

Kaka has never actually said that he wants to leave. On the contrary he has always wanted to stay.
Calderon is also after Fabregas and Robben...this is a classic case of unsettling players.
Also, people are talking about the possibility, as with every legal case appeal, that our punishment may actually be heavier after appeal. Very very unlikely but there is possibility.
Saturday our appeal starts.

There are many factors in Real's persistence and the ever-present rumour mill.
First of all, I for one, believe that privately, Kaka is keeping his options open.
Years ago, I remember reading an article which quoted Paolo Maldini saying he was privately approached by Real's intermediaries, but he rejected them outright after careful consideration. At that time, Milan was at the lowest ebb in recent years.
If Kaka responded like Maldini did, I am sure Real would have given up.
Second, Calderon is desperate, he has not fufilled any of his election promise of the three players (Kaka, Fabregas, Robben). Getting even one, would go a long way towards saving his credibility. Robben is the least prestigious buy of the three, if he gets rejected, so be it. That leaves Kaka and Fabregas, whho would appeal a lot to the 'socios'.
I believe, IMHO, that Fabregas would have been the most popular choice among the 'socios', more than Kaka. But the transfer talk around Fabregas has disappeared, while those around Kaka are still flying around.
That ties back to the first point. Fabregas has probably rejected Real outright after committing to Arsenal, while Kaka is probably still keeping his options open.
Add to that, Real are rumoured to be coming in with an offer Milan management would have a hard time resisting.
Despite Milans insistence that Kaka is staying at the San Siro, Spanish sources suggest that Real Madrid are tabling an enormous bid for the Brazilian ace.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, the Spanish giants are prepared to offer the Rossoneri around £38m for Kaka and will present the 24-year-old with a seven-year contract worth nearly £7m per season.
Relations between Real and Milan have become tense after the Bernabeu side continued to talk to Kaka even though the Diavoli declared their midfield star not for sale.
Milan have even threatened to report Madrid to FIFA for approaches they believe to be illegal.
Kaka arrived at the San Siro in 2003 in a £6m switch from Sao Paolo and has enjoyed two superb seasons in Italy.
He could become the second most expensive player in football history behind Zinedine Zidanes £45.5m transfer from Juve also to Real.
Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon is likely to wait for a TV rights deal set to yield around £150m per season - to be settled before spending such a large sum of money.
As many critics speculated, Fabio Capello has set about signing a Serie A dream team with Fabio Cannavaro and Emerson already arriving.
Now it seems that the Real tactician has set his sights on one of Milans most prized assets.

chelsea 2 wanted kaka but mourinhio said he has enough players...
Chelsea president Roman Abramovitch is reportedly about to make a shock multi-million offer to AC Milan for their playmaker Kaką. The Brazilian seemed bound to join Real Madrid after his team was penalised in Italy's match-fixing scandal, but the Blues have now joined the race.
Despite having already signed Germany's Michael Ballack and Ukraine's Andriy Shevchenko, Abramovitch's ambition looks unquenchable.
But even a 70-million euros offer - according from French daily L'Equipe - should not be enough to lure Kaką to Stamford Bridge.
Indeed, the 24-year old spoke aloud of his attachment to the Rossoneri on Monday.
"My family and I are happy in Milan and that is why I renewed my contract until 2011," he told the Spanish AS newspaper.
But the Brazilian hinted that a move to the Spanish capital could be in store, especially since Milan have been deprived of Europe next season.
"The fact that Real are interested in me and want me is very pleasing. Real are as great a club as Milan, or possibly even greater," he said.
"I would only sign with Real after they had reached a deal with myself, but more importantly having satisfied Milan's requests," he finally concluded.
Kaką played for the last two seasons at the San Siro and scored 21 goals in 75 matches.

I've been following this soap opera since the very beginning and, reading As every day, something really incredibly caught my attention: the fact that I rarely read a statement in the articles.
Everything is based on suppositions! The last one was: "Kakį (not Milan) rejected the mega offer from Abramovich 'cos his desire is to move to Real".
Later in the article they explain the club's plan to make possible a 10 mill euros contract for the player. Something Abramovich can easily beat without a plan...
:coffee:
Difficult to believe in the Spanish papers... :gun:

I've read the newest about Kakį on channel4.com.
It says: If they want a meeting to discuss a transfer then they may as well spare themselves the travel costs, stated Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida when asked about Reals interest in the starlet.
It seems to me that Real wants to sign Kakį without meeting Milan although he has a contract with us til 2011.
Does it make any sense to you????? :dontkn:
I think it's a joke, they just send messages through the spanish press but officially they are not doing anything.
So they won't get anything :D
No he's saying that they might as well not even bother travel to discuss anything.. because they won't sell anyway.
40mil isn't enough we need 200mil :d IMHO, kaka is world greatest AMC...(yea better then ronaldinhio)
we'll see, prob they just want to create chaos at milan...but it won't happen...
(milan should be thinking about buying 2-3 players)
Real Madrid and Chelsea are ready to bid big in order to land Kaka, but Milan insist he is untransferable.
The Spanish giants have been linked with the sensation since before the World Cup, while the London club have now apparently joined the race.
Real are understood to be willing to spend £40m on a transfer fee and offer the Brazilian a seven-year deal worth £5m a season.
If they want a meeting to discuss a transfer then they may as well spare themselves the travel costs, stated Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida when asked about Reals interest in the starlet.
With their pressure on Kaka they have only received our indignation. We have said that Kaka is not for sale and I continue to repeat that.
As if to underline that point, reports in Spain on Saturday are suggesting that Milan have also snubbed a Stamford Bridge approach.
The Premiership champions have supposedly had a £70m offer rejected for the player who recently extended his Milan deal until 2011.
Chelsea have already brought in two high profile players this summer in the form of Bayern Munichs Michael Ballack and Milans Andriy Shevchenko.
The Ukrainian signed prior to the World Cup Finals after a fee of almost £31m was agreed between the clubs.
Kaka arrived at the San Siro in 2003 in a £6m switch from Sao Paulo and has enjoyed three superb seasons in Italy.

basically it says Milan rejected Chelsea's mega-bid and Real still think he'll go.
Now honestly, how stupid are Real. We rejected Chelsea's offer which is roughly double their own, Kaka and his father have said they will stay at Milan, refuting any comments made, and have repeatedly said that Real must deal with Milan only, and that they will only leave if Milan says yes.
ACMILAN1983, did you notice how Chelsea steals our ideas? Look now, first we have Crespo and Sheva in Milan. Then Crespo is supposed to come to Milan but he stays in Chelsea and everybody is like nah, too bad they worked so well together. Then Shev goes to Chelsea. And now they are eyeing Kaka and Nesta. So they'd have four ex-Milanista in their team. Show's we are a fine brew. And they are thiefs :delol:

The funny thing is that we have just rejected an offer for 100 million euro and they come over with a 56 million euro offer? Probably the guys at Real missed some elemetary school classes...
If we were interested in selling Kakį, we would take the best prize that we could, unless it was an Italian team.
Real should better spend the money on buying a new training center...
Real Madrid has much more confidence on signing simply not by how much they are offering. Chelsea is nothing to be compared with Real which is having the luxury to be the best club in the football history regarding their trophies....that is their power to lure Kaka, whom they want to change the one's mind on leaving our beloved club....
It's all depends on Kaka's willingness to stay in Milan

One thing that I don't understand is what if Kaka wants to leave (I“m not saying he wants to) whats the difference between that and when Sheva wanted to go to Chelsea , yes I know Chelsea come up with the highest price but thats IMO because no one else know“d Sheva was on the market and was possible to get.

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon will meet with Silvio Berlusconi, the AC Milan president, this week in Italy to discuss a deal for Kaka.
Despite the protests of Milan director Ariedo Braida, AS says Calderon will meet with Berlusconi at his holiday home in Sardinia.
Pressure from Kaka's agent, Diogo Kotscho, and the Brazilian's Dad, Bosco Leite, has forced Milan to listen to Real's offer. Calderon is willing to go as high as £40 million for the midfielder.
The deal, including Kaka's mega wages, will be funded by a new television agreement that Calderon has been negotiating over the past fortnight. The agreement is said to be worth £600 million.

Kaka staying at Milan, says dad Sunday 23 July, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kaka will not be leaving Milan for Real Madrid this summer, his agent-father has confirmed on Sunday.
The Spanish giants have been heavily associated with a bid for the Rossoneri sensation, but Bosco Leite maintains the speculation has nothing in common with the reality.
I have not spoken to Real Madrid. Ive not been in contact with [Real directors Franco] Baldini or [Predrag] Mijatovic, Leite stated. Ive also not suggested that my son could be sold.
If Real are interested in the player then they will have to turn to Milan. We have a contract with the Italian side, one which we only recently signed [until 2011].
The youngsters father also dismissed the rumours emanating from Spain which suggest that Kaka is keen on the move.
The Spanish say that Ricky wants to leave? I dont think that is the case, not at the minute anyway. I think he will stay at Milan, he stated.
Kaka was used as an election tool by Ramon Calderon who had promised fans that he would sign the former Sao Paulo player if he was elected to the hot-seat.
That has led to reports that Real have had a £40m offer rejected by Milan, as well as offering Kaka a seven-year contract worth £5m a season.
Yet Leite also dismissed suggestions that he and his son had received such an enticing deal from the Liga giants.
I dont know anything about such an offer, he maintained.
Milan fans will certainly be hoping that the Brazilian international does stay after the loss of Andriy Shevchenko to Chelsea already this summer.
Meanwhile, reports yesterday suggested that the London club were also keen on Kaka with an alleged £70m offer already said to have been tabled.
Real have already fished in the peninsula recently after signing Fabio Cannavaro and Emerson from Juventus last week.
The duo left the Stadio Delle Alpi in a £16m deal and will be bossed by former Bianconeri Coach Fabio Capello in the new campaign.
I wonder if Kaka and Kaka's dad are getting fed up with the Spanish press. It's been he says, they say, etc.
The rumor mill has been getting out of control. At some point, it has resulted to some unpleasant things...like for example the rumor of Pirlo's departure led to people thinking of his ungratefulness to Milan as he wasn't prominent in Inter...or a disliking of Chelsea when they were linked to Nesta...or Kaka was a another Sheva who would decide to leave us as well.
It wouldn't surprise me if kaka leaves.
I hope he loves milan enough and stays... but I have a bad feeling you know.. losing sheva and kaka practicly the same season is such a nightmare. :1spie:

I agree with that and the worst part is that is giving a signal that we slipping down the food chain, but I think this will stop as soon as Berlusconi is reaching for his valet and making some serious attempt to sign stars that up until now have been impossible to sign (Henry, Ronaldinho, Puyol, Gerrard, Lampard)

the problem is not that he didnt say anything else, the problem is that he didnt say much in the first place and we were left mostly to assume - based on the usual statements from managers that Kaka is happy to be at Milan but isnt that always the case even when its not true. He never said he would have liked to leave but he also never said that he would stay with us no matter what. What he said was that he was probably gonna stay with Milan in A if not "we will see then" ... and then Seedorfs, a bit careless and too frank, commnets about Kaka keeping his options open and considering what would be best for his future.
Lets be honest - we would like to believe that he has always been devoted to Milan throughout these hard times but that is just that - wishful thinking on our part to make ourslves feel more comfortable, nothing more nothing less.
Now, once it became clear that well play in CL, all of a sudden he comes out and declaires eternal love to the red-and-black shirt. I dont know what he may or may have not said before but I am sure he didnt make a statement as clear and unambiguous as this one before.

KAKA COMMITTED TO MILAN
Brazil midfielder Kaka is intent on helping AC Milan to Champions League glory next season, putting to bed rumours of a move away from the San Siro.
The 24-year-old has been linked with big-money moves to Chelsea and Real Madrid after the Rossoneri were penalised for their part in the Serie A match-fixing scandal.
But Kaka stressed he had not been looking to leave the club who signed him from Sao Paulo in 2003 despite their recent troubles.
"I am delighted we can play in the Champions League, but I wouldn't have had any problems staying with Milan anyway,'' he said.
"I am honoured and proud with the contract I have signed with Milan and, I repeat, the fans should relax - I would have stayed with Milan whatever.
"I am absolutely attached to this club and everything else which has been written is just chit-chat. I cannot wait to get to Milanello [the club's training complex] to commence the season.''
The announcement was made on Milan's website just hours after the club were reinstated in the Champions League next season.
Carlo Ancelotti's side will enter the third qualifying round along with Chievo, while they now have an eight-point deficit to overturn in Serie A.

Well, he was kind of busy with the World Cup through much of this, yet he still took the time right in the middle of it to not only sign a contract extension (which should have logically ended the debate right there) but to say that he hoped the signing would put to rest all the rumors about Real Madrid. So actually, he did say it. It's just that everyone was in a panic and nobody wanted to listen. Everyone wanted to parse words, debating "what the definition of is is." And following the World Cup, he was on vacation, trying to relax and get ready for training and the upcoming season. Even then, he made a point to call the club and stress that he was staying. But again, nobody wanted to believe him just because he didn't say it a certain way and they thought there might be some wiggle room if Milan were demoted to Serie Q or something on the third Tuesday of the second week in October under a full moon. Most folks preferred to believe the rantings of an idiot who was picked to head Real Madrid and a bunch of made-up crap from media sources that they normally wouldn't take so seriously. It's kind of sad, really, that so many Milan fans have so little faith and have such a low opinion of the club that they think all the players would really rather play somewhere else. :w200:

Well of course I had faith and I know what came from Kaka, his dad and the news rumors. I was pointing out the overall picture at the fact that these journalists can manufacture rumors that can hurt a player's image implying them as a teeter-totter type of not knowing whether they will stay when the ship sinks. And they have taken advantage over Kaka's situation and they found ways to manipulate his statements to fabricate stories. I was stating what the whole thing seemed to look like as a result of these events.

Milan should take a revenge against that lair scoundrels named Real ****drid, start a veritable WAR, as Galliani himself said! Let's for, instance, pick one of their top players, Robinho or Cassano!

Well, I don't think that taking away one of those players would hurt Real Madrid. The two have played little and underachieved. I'm not impressed by any of them really.

Real call Milan ceasefire Friday 28 July, 2006
Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon has looked to make peace with Milan by clarifying his clubs position in a letter to Rossoneri chief Adriano Galliani.
I was very surprised to read Gallianis interview in the newspaper and am sure this is just a misunderstanding, said Calderon.
We respect Milans glorious history, the relationship between the clubs has always been excellent and we hope the quarrel can be patched up as soon as possible.....

the media does in fact make up 75% of the rubbish we read, since it seems european papers don't fear lawsuits accusing them of libel and slander. However, all kaka had/has to do is a televised news conference where he pledges his future to milan, and the matter is closed. Players shouldn't have to defend their choices at all times, but today, due to the out of control media, some preventive measures have to be taken. The real rumors will not die until he himself sets things straight. Those dogs are like a female dog in heat. They will not relent.

It should be noted that a paper/website like as.com print the news that Real/Calderon WANT them to print. they use that paper to create friction between fans and player and as a propaganda machine to convince players to come.
