Gila, Gattuso and Pirlo vs New York amateurs

I thought this was incredibly cool. I've never seen it before, but it was awesome that our star players just showed up to play against a group of amateurs :dcool:

I came across that vid when it first came out, love it when rino goes to hop the fence in the beginning. Cool stuff like that never happens around here :(

midori, actually being in Florida that may be possible... you do know that Maldini spent around a month in FL this past season trying to recover from his injury away from the European winter, right? I think Ambrosini went there too for the same purpose...

I'm only after thinking of something. Rino, Pirlo & Gila all wear/are sponsored by Nike and since Nike are behind all that Joga 3/Joga Bunito stuff I think Nike might have asked/told them to do it. Also whoever was filming it knew in advance they were coming because it was filming them walking up the street before hand which would also suggest this was organised by someone like Nike. There were photographers and autograph hunters there too which says the same thing.

Yes; I think it is a planned one but for whatever reasons it's not used for commercial purposes.
