about me:
just joined yesterday -

this is just my 3rd season watching professional soccer- being from pittsburgh, pa usa, its always been about the "Steelers" & the "other" football

i've been playing/coaching/refereeing soccer (football) for 30yrs.

the problem in the US is that kids grow up playing soccer, but never watching it on TV. i wanted my son (14), who is a very good player, to see/learn how the game is supposed to be played.

the first season we decided to watch as many teams as we could and pick out "our" team.

we both like milan the best, and disliked...juve, madrid, chelsea, & inter at the same time...so it was a perfect fit. (i also like how arsenal plays)

i primarily am a lurker, learning about the club and finding out the information that is not available here in the states. the history section is very cool...

so thanks for all the valuable info...and see ya in the boards...

Welcome, you and your son couldn't have picked a better team ;)

May I also recommend looking into the Milan side coached by Arrigo Sacchi, who was manager back in the late 80s and early 90s. I personally believe that is argubly the most complete football side you'll ever see, simply overflowing with talent and tactically the best I think I've ever seen.

i have used sacchi's coaching the 4-4-2 for years...a classic, and still relevant!
