Whats your oppinion on these guys? I've watched Moscows 2 games against Arsenal and Carvalho and Love seems to be good players. Plus they're just breaking into the brazilan team and have shown professionalism in adapting to life in Russia. Elano seems to be good as well. Are these players for Milan?

Vagner Love will be fine for me in Milan

I don't know DrJohnson. The thing is Brazil has many many promising starlets breaking into their national team several times, then disappeared (Luis Fabiano for instance), then all of sudden caught the attention yet again, like Diego from Bremen.

Dudu was excellent for Moscow in their home game vs Arsenal too, Carvalho looked to be the best of the bunch though.

Carvalho any day! Rest are not that great. I have seen him since the 2004 UEFA cup final where CSKA was trailing to Sporting at home at HT with a lot of pressure. Carvalho in the second half changed everything in tha game with 2 assists and making CSKA win the cup. It was some good match. Wagner love had also scored in that game but still he still has a lot to achieve. Carvalho is no Kaka but he will be a great addition to our team with his speed. I'm sure he wouldn't mind coming to Milan too. Once I was reading his interviews he sounded like a very humble, down-to-earth person. I would like to see him or Emre at Milan.

Emre looks like a long shot as Bayern are pondering upon him as a replacement for Hargreaves. I hope we give a little look on Carvalho and at his potential.

That is some achievement for such young players. It can get very difficult adjusting to life in Russia. Its exactly the opposite of Brasil. No sun and sandy beaches plus the style of living is also different.

According to the past phenomenon, I hope that there is some rumour in local Italian media or even Tribal about Carvalho being a Milan prospect. It might actually start some movement from our side.

Diego looks interesting as well. Just heard the recent rumours linking him to Milan. He used to be rated as good as Robinho and looks like finally beginning to play to his potential. I would definetely say that Carvalho and him are the most interesting of the four. Plus hes young - only 23 i think.

Diego went to Werder Breme only for 6 milion euros!!!!
He is very talented but in Brazil for his position is Ronaldinho and Kaka,the best players of the world!

Milan eye Diego Thursday 2 November, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Werder Bremen midfielder Diego is reportedly a target for Milan after his impressive start to the season.

The 21-year-old, who moved to the Bundesliga side in May 2006 from Porto, has already scored six goals in his 12 domestic and Champions League appearances.

His form saw him included in the list of 22 players called up by Brazil Coach Carlos Dunga for the upcoming friendly match with Switzerland, scheduled on November 15 in Basel.

The Werder man, capped 12 times by the Selecao, was signed by the Sao Paulo team Santos at the age of 12 and grew up in their youth team, making his debut in 2002.

He moved to Porto in 2004 in a £5m deal, but struggled to find a place in the starting line-up and was bought by Werder Bremen last summer for £4.2m, signing a contract until 2010.

The player immediately adapted to his new surroundings and has expressed his best football in the past few months, impressing his Coach Thomas Schaaf and the Milan observers.

Diego has an Italian passport as well, which makes him even more enticing for the Rossoneri, who could make a summer move to bring him to the San Siro.

It may sound stupid but i think this guy will be the next Kaka!

The only time i've really seen any of those players was in the Brazil v Argentina match at Ashburton Grove. Of thise group of players only Elano & Carvalho played, with the latter playing mainly wide left and holding the width all the time. Both played well, Elano in particular and alot was made about Dunga looking at Elano as the new 'spirit' of the national team.

I can't see us going for Wagner Love, but i think any of the other 3 (Elano, Carvahlo & Diego) will give our squad alot more quality. Diego's added bonus of having an Italian passport is another plus point, as his current form.

well, with the way the silly rumours have increased the activity of these threads, I think the best transfer we could make is Santa Claus - get him and you have any player out there you could ever wish for ... and the best part is we'll always have a very, very active winter transfer period :sagrin:

Actually there is one Santa Claus right in the city of Milano. :)

He is good, really good.

He is the least hypocratic and most honest person too.

the most important thing is: he brings you players, any player you want, any player you need, or even players you don't want or need.

as long as they are good, he gets them;
as long as they can be good, he gets them;
as long as they are thought to be good by others, he gets them;
as long as others (Mi^^^, Ju^^^^^^) want them, he gets them;
as long as others (Mi^^^, Ju^^^^^^) pretend to want them, he gets them too.

Who can do better than that? ;)

As brazilian, I only can see D. Carvalho or Elano in Milan. Elano is a usefull player, can play as the RMD or as he played in Santos:
------------------------- CF-----------------------

--------Robinho---------Diego----------Elano--------

D. Carvalho is a very good player, and could be used as Kaká replacemente, or as second striker. D. Carvalho can play also in Robinho role(in the scheme above) if we change the formation.
But IF I was Galliani 2 brazilians(cheap) that I keep an eye are: Lucas( Grêmio) and Arouca(teammate of Marcelo in Fluminense). Arouca for thye ones that aren´t used for his game, play as a "segundo volante" as we say in Brazil. A DM more free to go to offense. Arouca reminds me a young(and more consistent) Seedorf...being Clarence more skiled, and Arouca more strong in defence...

Well ... that final that CSCA won was played at ... Sportings's home arena in Lisbon by design. Just my 2 cents....

So if Ronaldo played for Man Utd, and had a big white beard no one will know the difference!

That's freaky. I was just thinking of Elano coming to Milan. I think he would fit in the Seedorf role much better than Seedorf, assuming Ancelotti wants to continue playing such a rigid formation. Seedorf is too restricted and I'd venture to say that this is his last season at Milan. Maybe Gourcuff is ready to go and is the real deal. Otherwise I think Elano would be great.

Thanks very much. I will...When I woke up tomorrow though, lol.

By the way, watching Atletico Madrid makes me think Milan missed out on Maniche.
