as it happened in the previous years also.

I vote: Cech, Alves, Cannavaro, Puyol, Lahm, Messi, Pirlo, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Sheva and Henry, as coach: Rijkaard and as a leader of the team Cannavaro.

It's your turn......

[rahul.acm]

I voted:

Buffon.
Zambrotta, Canna (C), Marquez and Lahm.
Rino, Pirlo, Kaka and Scweinsteiger.
Eto'o and Henry

[Tony29.]

I voted
Buffon
Zambrotta, Canna (c), Thuram, Abidal
Gerrard,Pirlo,Kaka, Ronaldinho
Klose, Henry
Coach: Lippi

Note: This would have really been my team of the year, with one exception. I'd put Kaka on Gerrard's place, and then add Vieira on Kaka's place. Too bad they didn't offer Vieira to vote for him. The guy was brilliant in Juve, had amazing WC and is the main player in Inter now.
As for attack, i really couldn't have chosen between Eto'o and Klose....i've chosen the German at the end :p017:

Surprised Pirlo didnt make it. Thats the biggest issue with the team.

Lahm, Fabregas & Gerrard lucky to have made it.

Rijkaard did brillant but i have given the managers position to lippi.

I was surprised too that Lahm made it; it is quite refreshing to see Fabregas's name on it, but not much to see Gerrard. :o
