View Full Version : Going at Meazza....
Going at Meazza.... As the most of you know i had a terrible injury, i now started to make some steps with the help of stics (and i expect the proposal from PAOK (Zagorakis) or Galliani for Milan :grinser: ).
In our topic, i am thinking of going to Italy to visit Meazza at the late of September or during October to feel better. I had been to Italy at the past when i was young enough going to San Marino, Bari, Bologna (I like Vidivichi).
So i want your advices, where i can go for better shopping, what i can meet at the stadium, the transportation. I have been at Bernabeu and Kamp Nou at Spain when i found museams and boutickes. What is going on at Meazza because we and Inter play there , should i wear the shirt of Milan and going there? or to have in my bagage the shirt of PAOK to fight against Interistas :grinser: ?. Anything you know about the stadium, museams, boutiques, the town would be helpful for me, i also have been to Monzuik and the Stadium of Herta Berlin.
Hello, Giorgos, I have a lot of information to give you :)
For transportation to the stadium, it depends on where your hotel is. There is a tram, I forget the number, that goes from the Piazza Duomo straight to the San Siro. If I find more about it I'll let you now, but otherwise the best way to get there is using the metro.
You must take the Red Line to Lotto Fiera 2. Make sure the train says Rho Fiera on top, because the line splits in two. Here is a map of the Milan metro:

From there you must walk to the stadium, there is a horse track stadium there. You have to walk next to it so the wall is on your right, you should graffiti left by Interisti there. But don't worry too much about finding the stadium, there should be signs telling you what direction to go in and you can always ask someone.
Once you get to the stadium you must walk all the way around to Gate 21, where they sell tickets for a tour of the stadium and a visit to the museum. Here is a link with more information about it:

You can wear any Milan gear, there is a pact among Milan and Inter fans to not fight. I wore my white Inzaghi jersey and no one said anything.
For shopping, there are two Milan Point stores. One is located next to Piazza Duomo, and one at Piazza XXIV Maggio, which is about a 20-30 minute walk from the Duomo (although I am not sure how you'll get there, considering your injury). Here is a map:

However, the Milan Point stores really aren't that great, they have a poor selection to be honest. The best sport store that I found was called Football Team, and it was right behind the Duomo, it has a blue and green sign.
If you have any more questions PM me, I'll help however I can, and get well soon :5ok:
PS Are you planning on attending a match as well?
