All I can say that Luka is most talented player at the moment(according to my scouting abilities), His just amazing, dribbling, pace, great vision and passing...great prospect for the future.

My comments are not based on just one single game, I follow Luka for years now, and he never failed to impress me. He is the captain of Dinamo Zagreb, the team that outplayed both Werder and Ajax this season and he also plays huge part in the most promising National Team Croatia.

I`ve talked about Luka several times now, and i`ll repeat myself once more, Milan should go for him, I`m sure with the small help he can become next best thing.

MRKI if Yoan can be compared to Zizou than definitely Luka can be compared to Boban.

Aissati Or Luka Modric – The Ajax Dilemma
The transfer window opens in just a couple of months and Ajax have a lot of work ahead of them if they are to sufficiently replace retired captain Jaap Stam. However, this doesn’t seem to be their top priority.
When Wes Sneijder decided it was time to move on in August, his transfer to Real Madrid made the Amsterdam club richer by no less than 27 million euros. On the field, however, his absence has left the team significantly poorer.

The Johan Cruyff Schaal and Dutch Cup holders invested much of that money on wingers and forwards (Dennis Rommedahl, Kennedy Bakircioglu, Laurent Delorge, Albert Luque, Luis Suarez all cost just under 18 million) when they already had Nicolae Mitea on the left wing and bomber Klaas-Jan Huntelaar up front – not to mention long term absentee Leonardo. On the contrary, not a cent was spent for Sneijder’s successor, even though filling his boots was always going to be a hard task.

Summer failures

Not that they didn’t try, mind you. Croatian sensation Luka Modric had already caught their eye even before he scored against them from the penalty spot during that 3-2 defeat at the “Arena” that send Ajax tumbling out of the UEFA Cup. It was Dinamo Zagreb’s asking price of 25 million that scared the Dutch away. Ajax then turned their attention within the country, offering PSV Eindhoven 3.5 million for Ismail Aissati, a proposal the Eredivisie champions considered “a joke”, refusing any negotiation.

Another try

Ajax, however, never lost interest in either playmaker, according to Dutch public broadcaster NOS, and they intend to come up with new offers, Aissati looking like the more feasible option. Born to Moroccan parents in the Netherlands 19 years ago, Aissati is widely regarded as one for the future and may choose to represent either country on full international level until his 22nd birthday, although he has won two consecutive European Under 21 Championships with the “Jong Oranje”. His contract with PSV runs until June 30, 2009 and negotiations to expand it have stalled, since he allegedly waits for an offer from a bigger European club.

A guest at the “Voetbal Insite” popular sports show of RTL Nederland, Ajax technical director Martin Van Geel stressed that PSV had asked for 18 million in the summer, an amount of money the Amsterdam club are still considering.

The next Zvoni Boban

Modric’s case seems harder. At 22 the Dinamo captain is already an accomplished player, with 20 caps and three international goals under his belt. The Croatian Superkup, Prva Liga title and Kup holders have tied him up until mid 2015 (!) and to make matters worse for Ajax other European powerhouses, such as Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Werder, have allegedly made their moves.

Unlike Aissati, still a fringe player at PSV Eindhoven, Modric is enjoying his best season to date, with 12 goals in 20 outings for Branko Ivankovic’s side. Ajax will have to make a really bold effort to get their man, certainly offering a lot more than the 9.5 million they paid Heerenveen for Huntelaar in January 2006 – the highest transfer fee they ever paid in their 107-year history.

Modirć is probably one of the best midlefilders in the world in this moment. Modrić,Nasri,Pirlo,Fabregas..who else?

give me a break.

I respect Dinamo's (and Croatia's) success this season, but this is getting ridiculous. He's nowhere near Pirlo or Fabregas.

AC Milan close in on 'new Cristiano Ronaldo'
tribalfootball.com - December 05, 2007

AC Milan are in advanced talks for Borussia Monchengladbach winger Marko Marin.
Kicker says a deal is very close which will see Marin move to the Rossoneri next season. Fiorentina and Ajax have also expressed interest in 18 year-old.

Marin is regarded as the best young talent in the Bundesliga and has been likened to Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

His style is very similiar to Redondo & Leo IMO. Good player, good vision.

Well, they didnt sold him so we still have a chance. If we ( by some miracle ) buy him...ooooo...and if Zambro ( and one more defender ) arrive, i think that we will finally could win CL and Scudetto all in one season. Its very hard to eject Clarence from first 11 but im sure that Modrić can do it. Pato showed what means "fresh blood" and with just one more young player ( Modrić ) we will have similar domination like we had with Dutch Trio...im pretty sure.
